The employees are rude and mean to their new employees. They throw each other under the bus when mistake happen. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwhich with lettuce tomatoes and mayo. One of their "senior employees" came to the window and was asking what we asked for and as we started saying "ham and cheese" she goes " yeah I got that it's obviously" "our new girl messed it up". When we got home they only gave us cheese and mayo (who even orders that?). We drove back to get a refund and was told " I don't have the authority to refund the money or make you a new sandwhich". Stood at the front for several minutes to try and get assistance with a to-go order and couldn't get anyone to help me. Heard all the employees I. The kitchen laughing and talking it up, but no one came to the front. I finally peeked around the counter and met eyes with one of the girls working there, but she just stood there talking and continuing on with her conversation. After another minute of looking at her and not even a single word of acknowledging a customer standing there, I went around behind the counter and finally helped myself and took my orders. Don't, just don't. While the drive thru is more than convenient and tempting, I've been here twice now and haven't gotten the correct order. This time I'm missing half of my $10 meal. Their solution is for me to drive back there and get my money. Okay, let me load up my kids so I can come fix your mistake. Just a note, some may like; they use French onion soup as the dip for the French dip. No other store I've been to does this. I thought it was an accident but this is the second time. While it may appear that they are similar the soup has many onions and a very different taste. I went in with a guy (mike) that works for me and my husband to order food for the three of us. I ordered an original, giant, and the woman waiting on me said, "It's $16 you know that right?" I said yes? (The menu with prices is literally right in front of you) So I then ordered a small Turkey and potatoes soup for my husband. My employee ordered a medium roast beef and then ask the Schlotzsky's employee if they came with drinks. She said, "oh you want the meals?" So we added 3 large drinks and chips, and Mike decided he wanted the Cinnabons center of the roll cup. I get my card out to pay and The Schlotzsky's employee then tells me the tab is $61.43!!! Then tells me to add the tip! Like what!!?? When I bypassed the tip, she grumbled, grabbed the ticket and immediately looked down at it to verify I did not tip them to allow me to spend $61.43 on three meals. She handed me a number to place on my table. Well not sure why because when the food was ready they called us up there to get it. I guess since we did not tip that was our punishment. I spoke with my daughter today and she went online and brought up the website for the exact same location Schlotzsky's and put in our exact order and the total came to $54.56!!! So obviously the employee added her own tip onto my bill!!! A $6.87 tip!!! Which btw she did not offer me my receipt!!! We showed up at 9pm to grab a quick bite (they close at 10pm). When we walked in, a blonde staff member came out from the kitchen with AirPods in and was rude to us. Acted like she would have rather been anywhere else than there. Shocked by the service, we turned to get our drinks and sit to wait for our food. When our food arrived the order was wrong but we didn't want to cause an issue so we ate the food. While eating, 2 other customers came in and she was rude to them as well with short answers and eye rolls. After taking 20 minutes to eat because we knew they closed at 10, the same staff member came out and started mopping around the drink machine. Today I decided to give it one more chance. Every single table was dirty at 5:15 p.m. on a Sunday with only four or five patrons in the store. It took the front counter clerk 7th 10 minutes to get to the front to wait on me. I was here a total of 45 minutes and never saw anyone take and close the trash receptacle. Showed up to the Round rock location on east Palm Valley Blvd.  There was no ice.  We stood for 3 minutes to let them know.  They said they knew.  They had just turned it on this morning.  He delivers our food to us.  No napkins.  I stand at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to ask someone.  Finally, I reach behind the counter and grabbed some on my own.  Others came in.  They tried to get ice.  The man behind the counter didn't tell anyone they were out of ice.  However, he continued to sell drinks like we should all pay full price. Drive thru wait time can be a bit iffy, so I usually end up going inside. Today I purchased 4 pizzas for their Wednesday BOGO pizza deal. This deal does not include flatbreads, which are technically on their pizza menu online, but they did just come out with two new pizzas. The original was delicious. It included the toppings that an original sandwich has with no marinara and instead of regular pizza dough, it's the popular sandwich bread. I was glad I tried something new because it was very good. We also ordered two pepperonis and a cheese pizza. All come out piping hot and flavorful. BOGO pizza Wednesday's is a great deal! The service was just ok, but the wait time wasn't bad. read more

I give this schlotzsky's of 4 because they're always so dam slow. Whether you go inside or you go in the drive-through & we get the same 3 items-- it's a good 10 minute wait. I don't know how that's sufficient or how the drive-through line makes it. So we go inside. Customer service had been great, inside! They've switched up the menu a little bit so a few salad items are gone and I think one of the veggie sandwich options has been replaced with something else, but once you get past all that the sandwiches themselves are usually pretty dang solid. I was however extremely saddened to read on their nutritional content that the sandwich my 9 year old loves (the original medium, no olives, no tomato, no onion) has 2200 mg of sodium that was disappointing. But for a sandwich my kids love, and as a vegetarian, it's a great veggie sandwich. read more

Great idea, poor execution. We were SO excited to have a Schlotzsky's go in up the street from us in Round Rock! However...we are here at lunchtime, and the place is disappointing. While the food and employees are as great as always, the layout of the restaurant is poor, to say the least. There is a bar type table smack dab In the middle of where people should be lining up to give their order. No one would dare sit there without fearing for their lives, I'm afraid. It is barren as I write this, with the people trying to figure out where to stand to order milling around it. It is confusing and irritating to the people trying to queue. Also, the trash cans are overflowing and the tables are in serious need of a wipe down. And it isn't busy enough that this should be problematic. Sad. We will give it another try due to the amazing food on the menu, but if we find it like this again, we will be passing the place up. I hope they can rally and meet the expectations we have come to associate with the Schlotzsky's brand. read more

Ordered a BYO sandwich in the long drive thru line, got to the window and it was obvious they hadn't input my order or started my sandwiches. Instead of asking what ingredients I ordered, they made their best guess and told me to go sit in the parking lot to wait for them. Checked my receipt and they input the wrong size and left off multiple ingredients. I have now been sitting in the parking lot for over 30 minutes waiting on my sandwiches while I've watched at least 10 or 15 people who were in line behind me get their sandwiches and leave. This is ridiculous. UPDATE: got home and discovered my (incorrectly sized) sandwiches had cheese on them despite not ordering cheese. So grossed out by this place! Had to wait by the ladies room because someone was in there. Out walks a guy who shrugs and said he "couldn't hold it". He didn't even flush the toilet. Waiting for my order, guess who the cook was? What are the odds that the same guy who couldn't bother flushing turned around and diligently washed his hands after taking a pee??? The girls working with him wore masks, but his was not only below his nose, but his mouth, too. Couldn't speak to a manager, because there wasn't going to be one until 10A the next morning! No way was I eating the literal crap that came out of that kitchen. Word to the wise....do not eat at Schlotzsky's! Leaving children to run the operation is a culture, not an isolated incident. Menu Prices are fraudulent! Texas Deceptive Trade Practice! This was my first and last visit to a Schlotzsky's. I visited this restaurant via the drive thru to grab dinner. I have never had Cinnabon and decided to get some. I honestly only would have ordered the "4 pack" because I was ordering for 4 people. But on the menu at the drive thru, a 4 pack was "$14.69" and a 6 pack was "$15.99". So in the hopes that they were tasty, why not get 2 more for an additional $1.30? So I ordered the 6 pack. I got to the window and paid. Then I noticed on my receipt I was charged for a 2 pack and a 4 pack separately with prices of $6.99 and $12.99 respectively. So now the price of the 6 pack is actually $19.98? I asked the person at the window about the discrepancy and was told their system doesn't have a "6 pack" button and that was the way they do it. So I asked to clarify that the price on the drive thru menu was wrong? The person again nicely said yes the prices are wrong. The person at the window was very pleasant, but I am extremely disappointed in a business that knowingly has fraudulent prices displayed and unless you are calculating at the menu and/or take the time to look at the receipt you would never know. Even then you are likely to have already paid before knowing, as I was. After I received my food, I drove back around to take a picture of the menu to prove that I'm not crazy. BTW, the sandwiches are mediocre at best, but I would have never taken the time to write a review for that. I am not hurting for the $4 that I was scammed out of. I just wanted to vent a little about this. Also, I'm by far not an attorney, but a quick google search shows that Texas seems to have some laws against this. Worst Schlotzsky's I have ever been to. They mess up my order EVERY SINGLE TIME. I typically get the Bacon Grilled Cheese. Normally they forget the tomato or avocado, or the avocado is rotten or the bacon is limp & stringy. For those of you who aren't familiar, it comes with an Auntie Aunie's Pretzel Bun, which is one of the only reasons to order it. It also comes with lots of thin sliced crispy bacon, tomatoes, and fresh sliced avocado. Well today I have no idea what they were thinking. It came on white bread, no tomato and no avocado. I live 30 minutes away, not like I can just swing back by to get a replacement sandwich! I will never go to this Schlotzskys again. 10 chances is more than sufficient to get your shit in gear & to get my order correct. The owners / managers of this location should be ashamed; they don't deserve to carry the Schlotzsky's name. Spend the few extra minutes & drive to the Schlotzsky's in La Frontera.
