This place has a great lunch deal. I got the "Choose Two" deal for about $10. I got the Turkey Bacon Club with Tomato Soup and it was great. That's a deal that's hard to beat - especially with it being a good portion. I don't know what kind of bread the sandwich was, but it was amazing. Drive Thru Review Only as we rarely go in usally and after work dinner at at great price. Our go to is the Giant Turkey Avocado sandwich with chips & a drink we split it always fills our tummies. We love the bread and they don't skimp on the avocados or meat sometimes a little heavy with the lettuce but it's just lettuce. In 3 or so years we seen maybe different faces at the window surely some friendly than others but overall a pleasant experience. So we went 2 hours before closing time. First of all the drive thru menu is broken, not lit, you cant see anything cuz one portion of the menu is completely gone and LEDS's are shining in your face! Horrible. Hours clearly state they're open until 9pm. It's 7:58pm and I'm parked in front of the door about to finish my phone call and go in. Then, One of the little ladies comes and locks the front door. Hours don't mention anything about drive-thru hours being different or anything. These franchise owners don't get it. They want to hire these young high schools kids, but forget to train them about what's "good" for business. All they see is hiring cheap help. Well your business suffers from it 100%. Didn't go inside today, just a drive-thru visit. Original and Smoked Turkey sandwiches were really good, the window service was pretty quick and friendly. Like most Schlotzsky's, they could really could use some remodeling. I don't know what the deal is with this chain letting their lobbies get so equally old and worn looking, but to varying degrees they all just are. The food is so good and unique, it deserves the best package they can give it. I say that not in negative criticism but more as positive fan support. Like it was yesterday, I remember the 1st sandwich I had of theirs circa 1988, age 19, and it was like an awakening. They should be around forever... but not LOOK like they have. read more

We ate here about 10 days ago. The experience was disappointing. I got a survey from Schlotzsky's corporate and wrote a critical review. I was surprised when I got an email from the owner who offered me a free sandwich to replace the one that I felt was an inferior example of what I expect from Schlotskys. i returned and reordered the sandwich, which was comp'ed with no complications. The difference was amazing. We were glad that the owner addressed my complaint because I have a memory like an elephant. When I get a bad meal and it is not properly addressed, I never return to that restaurant. Fortunately, Schlotskys has been spared that fate. I must compliment the employees for their courtesy and the excellent sandwich. Highly recommended. read more

Generally I love Schlotzsky's and love the original sandwich. However, sometimes I want a salad. Today I opted for the turkey avocado cob/club salad (not 100% sure which). I really wish I'd realized that they decided to use this as a compost heap disguised as a salad. The entire base of this salad has decomposed and reverted to slimy, sludgy, almost black algae...complete with the lovely taste of dirt. Worst part is that the salad was covered by the other actually wonderful toppings and I had to mix it to even realize that. So no part of this is salvageable. Swell. As it's an $8 salad, I would at least expect some type of care going into assembling it. This really is unfortunate as I'm on a budget and this was a bit of a splurge. read more

Now I'm not a gamblin man, but if I were I would say you will find yourself with a 50% chance that they will make your sandwich right. I have been here exactly six times. Of that, my sandwiches were made right only three of them. So they get a 3 Star rating. The Cinnabons are always made correctly, just not the sandwiches. Which is odd, because that's kinda of what they are known for. The staff has always been nice, and the dining area is always clean. I have come here at different times, so it's a good thing to see they are on top of the cleaning. They do have a drive-thru, but every time I have come here I have walked in. I have not been to a Schlotzsky's in years. The bread is delicious but it can be a little heavy. We both had the medium. It was right for me but too large for her. The place was clean and maintained. Unfortunately they were having AC problems and it was very uncomfortable inside. That happens in Texas. The employees were very pleasant under the working conditions. Good sandwich terrible service. People have been in drive thru for 15 minutes and not even been acknowledged. They were coming in pissed. Ice machine broken. They just give you a cup and watch you stare at it until you ask for ice.
