I called regarding my bmw X6M. And as i bought my vehicle from them i am stuck with Schomp to get things done for last 4-5 years. They had great service till last year that i took my friends to buy BMWs from them. Since last year i started noticing drastic change in service representatives communication, they are rude and condescending to the point i decided to take my bmw to downtown location and avoided Schomp all together. Infact i called this person recently as i still have some stuff on my repair package which i can only get it done at Schomp and had to call Schomp and this person was whispering through out the conversation and breaking up. I asked her politely to repeat as i said she was breaking up and after a minute or so, she frustratingly whispers in low tone " oh my god" and that obviously if not insulting not sure how to interpret it. I was furious and she argued that she didn't say that. Didn't even bother to apologize for saying that. It's beyond belief and ridiculous. Forget about manners but lying on top of bad interaction to cover her lies is beyond belief to me. If it's on recorded line i want Schomp to go back and listen to the conversation and try to correct their people and teach manners and not to lie and own mistakes if done and apologize if mistake is done. I own multiple businesses and can say for sure that's disgusting and intolerable behavior from anyone if done in my businesses and would need to show exit door from job with no second chance. I owned bmws since last 17 years but i can never ever recommend Schomp to any of my friends in future nor prefer to take it for anything except what i purchased package from them. It's sad to see the downfall in customer service from great to below lowest level to insult loyal customers. read more

Sales experience is great. Not too in your face or pushy. Bought three cars here and every time they went the extra length to make it happen. As for the service side... Not as transparent. Brought a car in out of warranty that wouldn't start and they insisted it was a DME issue and wanted $4k. Took it to an indie, they replaced the starter for a few hundred and it was good to go. Definitely recommend for sales and parts. For service, get a second opinion. read more

Avoid the service department and Mark Patterson (technician). I took my vehicle in for a timing chain guide diagnostic for the n20 timing chain guide class action lawsuit. After waiting until the following day I was told they could not diagnose my timing chain until I replaced my serpentine belt and belt tensioner. Me being a recent service advisor for bmw I knew that was not the case. There is 3 different way to diagnose the timing chain without needing a serpentine belt and belt tensioner. After explaining this to them they were deeply remorseful and said that the service advisor was new and still learning. The switched me to a new service advisor. After waiting 5 more days I was told that there was nothing wrong with my timing chain or timing chain guides. When I went to go pick up my vehicle . The paperwork says that my timing chain was "was a little loose" but could not fix it under warranty. The technician then takes it in his own hands to write that my timing chain will no longer be covered if it fails. What gives him the authority to shorten my warranty time and mileage? Please avoid this dealership. I personally worked at gebhardt bmw and seen my fair share of shady dealings things but this tops the cake. They also said I needed front brakes. I have 7mm left. Please don't spend your time or money here. Customer service is absolutely non existent. They will sell you a car and forget about you completely when you drive away. I have too many stories to list, but broadly, pre certified doesn't mean a thing. You are better off purchasing a bmw online, buying a third party warranty - then have it serviced with an honest mechanic. Don't be fooled by their bottled water and nice bathrooms - it's all a front to cover up a truly poorly run operation. I have been to this location 4 separate times and expressed interest in 9 or 10 different models spanning a multitude of trims levels, color, etc and haven't been put in even a single test drive, even after waiting between 1-3 hours each time, the communication between employees there is extremely poor, they don't communicate what cars are available, out on test drives, where keys for cars are, they employees are kind but overall don't deliver a quality experience and was sadly disappointed after walking in very excited to be there on multiple occasions. read more

I took my 2001 BMW to Schomp BMW. I did this after calling them and requesting a quote on evacuating and charging my A/C. I was told that it would be $169. I firmly remember that because I had called another auto repair place to compare quotes and was told it would be $149 right after being told it would be $169 at Schomp. Since I lived close to Schomp BMW I decided to take my car there. After they finished with my car I was presented with a bill far greater than the $169. I talked to Chris Adams at Schomp and after a little push back he reduced to the bill to what was originally quoted over the phone (even though I think it was originally misquoted). Wish I could give 2 and a half stars. Have bought two Bimmers here and the staff seem good and knowledgeable. The showroom is pretty and they have a bunch of drinks and places to sit. Not a lot of hassle in buying the cars. Still takes awhile even though I am a cash customer. However, the service department is terrible. Got a quote for a new battery over the phone which was completely inaccurate when I actually brought the car in. They wasted my time. Fast forward a few months later and there is a recall for a fuel pump on my 535i. Guys there are clueless and say "we don't know when we will get the parts in". They don't take my name down, don't offer to call back, don't have any information, and just don't bother to care. Schomp BMW dealership excels in straightforward car buying experience. Since they already mark down their cars to adjust for market value, simply haggle free transaction, pay the price you see. I researched other BMW dealerships, Schomp was very competitive and had far more options for most models. They even get an occasional M2, excellent piece of German engineering. The best part is that they cannot mark up the very rare models, per policy and sales approach. On occasion, a sweet Competition M6 surfaces and disappears within days. The service is cordial and professional, their priority is customer service. My sales guy, Agye, was very chill and did everything I requested; I still text him with questions or requests and he delivers promptly. The parts crew is also helpful. The auto service drop off and pickup area is well laid out, automatic garage doors open as you pull up, drive inside; this alone is priceless during winter months. The staff greets you at your car and direct you to the next step. My service assistant actually walked down to the floor and talked to the mechanic for prognosis. The loaners are usually plush, ostensibly, they want you to experience and potentially purchase these options in the future. I've purchased two BMWs from here and the experience was awesome, especially the unveiling of my car and a lesson on the cool hidden features with a BMW genius. We scheduled an appointment on short notice for my daughter's X1, after she let me know the check engine light on her car had come on. It was important to us to have the car looked at on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We brought it in with the understanding that they would perform diagnostics, and that she would make an appointment to come back at a later point for the actual repair. Once we were told the car was ready, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was a faulty Oxygen sensor, and that they had the part in stock, and had completed the repair. This really exceeded our expectations. This was my first visit to the dealership, and I have to say I have never seen a dealership like this. I was going to write a five star review, but it now appears that I have to figure out how to collect what the dealership owes me on my 2019 Land Cruiser. Long story short, I had to buy a smaller car (after buying a brand new LC) because I purchased a new home with a small garage. I traded my Land cruiser and ended up with the dealership owing me a considerable amount of money. I was told that I would receive a check within 2 weeks. At the time I thought that sounded longer than necessary, but let it go. Fast forward to 6/18/19. I purchased the new car on May 21st. I still have not been paid what Schomp owes me for my Land Cruiser. Pretty sure those dates add up to longer than two weeks. Bottom line: don't believe what they tell you. This service department is the biggest joke I've ever experienced! Go elsewhere! They can't get anything right. This scares me because God knows what they have done to my car. It first took a month to schedule an appointment to get a loner car. Then they called me and told me my car was ready, their service hours are incorrect on their website. I drove out there and nobody could help. Then I had to phone 3 times on Monday to get a hold of the service advisor. Finally THREE hours later I get a call back. I was told my car could be brought to me. The service advisor told me it could 2.5 hours. They don't have my card on file. Then some one else called and asked if my car was could be under someone else's name. Still don't have my car or anyone letting me know. I tried asking for a supervisor and he was repeating my address to me, it didn't sound right but, I have a hearing loss, he got snappy with me. My home is not easy to find so I wanted to make sure. I had an excellent experience with Schomp's service department. I was flying from Indy to Denver to drive my daughters BMW X3 to LA and CJ Lains really helped me out. Despite the fact I was leaving the next day, he made time to get me in to replace her headlight. CJ replaced the headlight himself. All I did was buy a new one from parts. Then he topped off the washer fluid and took the car through the carwash! All this happened despite their full service schedule. I dropped my car off for a routine service and when I went to pick my vehicle up they came to me telling me that they lost my keys and couldn't locate my car, even more interestingly they made me Uber home and provided me with no support or update on my car. When I called in asking for a call from there manager, Joe Link, to just get an update on the situation. I got no call back and again, no assistance on the status of my lost vehicle.... didn't know a customers car being lost wasn't worth the Service managers attention. My first experience with Schomp was when I needed to bring my BMW in for an airbag recall. Despite the fact that I was coming in for a free repair, I was still treated as a valued customer. They completed the repair in a timely manner and also did a complimentary inspection of the car which uncovered another issue that I did ask for them to also repair. My second experience with them was this past weekend when we decided to get a new (used) BMW for my wife. We made it clear we were shopping for used not new and for a particular model. There was zero attempt to "up sell" us to a new vehicle or different model. They were spot on with the valuation of our trade in which may be the first time I've ever encountered this at a dealership! I enjoyed their no haggle pricing. The published price is their price....PERIOD! They invited us to shop other dealers if we didn't feel the pricing was fair. This was not said in a derogatory manner...just in a polite matter of fact way. Frankly, we had no problem with their sticker prices. Of course they do try to offer accessories for the vehicle but we felt our sales person was very honest on what was and may not be a good deal or even necessary. Be prepared to pay up for any additional warranty or maintenance program even for a certified pre-owned vehicle. Their maintenance program is probably a good deal if you are religious in getting your preventive maintenance completed. Once the sale was complete, they had a technician take us through the car's systems rather than just referring us to the owners manual. In all, we felt like we were appreciated and valued customers. Very unlike my experience at another dealership nearby. You can search for that review under my profile. My only feedback on areas for improvement would be a better inventory control system. There was one car in their internet inventory that we could not find on the lot. Also, it would be nice if their offices had ceiling dividers in place for increased privacy. I purchased my car in 2019 . And so far car has been great however have not been impressed with services at all . I scheduled regular service maintenance and then was called the day of saying they have to reschedule because they were short staffed. Then when when I came in for my appointment they did not have a loaner for me because the person who rescheduled me did not request for one even when I asked if he could when reschedule . And was told I was scheduled as a drop in and one the bottom of the priority list . Then was told she would see if she could get us a loaner and never came back to tell us if she could or not . When they completed my services was told that I had to pay for my services when I was told from the last visit that services will be covered . Without telling me before they started the services that my warranty was expired . And was told I had to get it in writing like this is was somehow my fault ? As they were figuring out everything to pick up my vehicle . They managed to lose my key . I don't know what has happened to how this company operates but it has gone down entirely since when I first purchased my car . It's like it was an inconvenience for them to do their job . Amazing experience! This is my first BMW purchase and the whole thing was great. I was greeted by Josh, a BMW Genius. I didn't know what car I wanted, but I had a checklist. He quickly took me to a 2015 328i xDrive GT and within an hour I was calling it my own! Josh listened to what I wanted in a car and showed me exactly what fit my needs. The test drive was not only informative, it was flat out FUN! Next I met Dave and he took me through the rest of the process, which was so painless! Paperwork was a breeze and the numbers were just what I expected them to be. No surprises! He was very personable and made sure I had everything I needed. Lastly, Kahley was my delivery genius and she walked me through everything I needed to know about my new car. Just went back today after work for my encore visit, and I met with Matt, another BMW genius who showed me even more tips and tricks about my car. Andrew Sapoznik, did a great job of showing me the vehicle and providing all the information I needed to make an informed decision. At no time was their any pressure, and he was always upfront about the pricing. The part of the transaction that I dreaded the most, was actually quite painless. Well, this is going to be a doozy. I'm not sure where to start but here I go. If I could give zero stars, it would make the review more authentic for me. In December 2018 I bought my first car from Schomp BMW - 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. When I was in the process of purchasing, I received phone calls multiple times per day to try to sell me on the car, they were very pushy. I bought the car, drove off the lot, and immediately noticed that heat wasn't working, in the middle of December in Colorado! Needless to say anyone who sells a car without proper heating in winter, and not willing to help remedy the situation, should be considered a criminal. Over the past YEAR, I've called multiple times to reach the service department to explain my ordeal, and their receptionist has 0% clue on what's happening, or when the supervisor will be available. No help. I've emailed service "supervisors" who don't seem to exist or care that one of the vehicles THEY inspected has a serious flaw. No help, not even a return call. The lack of professionalism and decency at this dealership is in a league of its own. It so unorganized and comically unhelpful. I had to go to the mountains for an emergency and I was stuck on I-70 in freezing whether with no functioning heat, thanks Schomp, I've been trying to get that fixed for over a year now. I'm assuming it's because I'm a twenty something who barely qualified to finance a $15k Nissan and not a BMW client who spent $100k on one of their cars. I'm not looking for someone to fix my heat for free (even though it was sold to me without heat), I'm just looking for a simple human response. Do yourself a favor, don't EVER buy your vehicle from Schomp BMW... they'll treat you like family when you're buying the vehicle, but then they'll turn into the proverbial addict who never returns your calls or emails and runs off with your money afterwards. Weeks out on getting an appointment for a scheduled oil change. Arrive 20 minutes early. Get a vague estimate from my service associate of my wait time of between 90 and 120 minutes. At 120 minutes I ask for an update. 10 minutes later I find out that they haven't even put the oil in yet. New estimate, another 30 minutes. All of this for an oil change that costs about twice the market rate. Worst possible service at highest possible cost. read more

The service department at this dealership is terrible and their communication is severely lacking. I will never bring my vehicle back to this dealership. Sorry for the lengthy review, but some background information is helpful in this instance. Let me premise this by saying that on our three prior visits to this dealership, there were issues. While the service work was completed appropriately, coming back to pick up my car (despite being told the work was complete and the vehicle was ready to be picked up each time) resulted in 45-60+ minute waits, each time. The worst was in early July when I dropped my car off in the morning due to receiving warnings about my coolant being low and received a text later in the day that my car was ready for pick up. My son was in the hospital and I advised that my husband would pick it up the following morning since we were on the other side of town. My husband arrived at the dealership the following morning, advised he needed to pick up the car and that our son was still in the hospital so he'd needed to get in and out quickly. After an hour of waiting, my husband demanded a supervisor who found the service rep outside Bullsh***ing with a professional athlete who was on the lot -- he'd completely forgotten about/ignored my husband -- for more than an hour. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. The sidewall of my tire blew out, although the tire still held air, it was too dangerous to drive far. My husband and I had already decided we were going to try the Denver dealership for service, but due to the condition of the tire and the proximity of the dealership to home, we decided to run it over to Schomp BMW for what should be an easy repair. Upon arrival early on a Saturday afternoon, I was initially told they likely could not help me because I did not have an appointment; however, one of the service reps (Ashley) agreed to see what she could get done after she saw the tire. After explaining what had happened a couple of months prior and our frustration with their service department, she assured me she was going to improve our experience. She did advise me later that afternoon that they would need to order the tire in, as they had none in stock, so my car could not be completed that day (that I understood). She told me that their service department was closed on Mondays and that my car would be done on Tuesday. I inquired about a loaner since I would be out of a vehicle from Saturday-Tuesday afternoon and was told that loaners are booked out 2-3 weeks in advance and there were none available (despite Schomp's claim to have the largest fleet of loaners available). On Tuesday afternoon around 3:45 p.m., after hearing nothing all day, I sent a text to Ashley to check to see if my car would be ready. An hour later, after no response, I send another text. I then left her a voicemail. After no response, I called the main service number. The receptionist answered, I explained what was going on, she put me on hold and came back to tell me that she could not finds Ashly and that she put a request in for Ashley to return my call right away. I explained to her that it was already 5:30 p.m. and if they closed at 6:00 p.m. and my car was ready, I needed to know so that I could come over and get it. She told me there was nothing further she could do. I then sent another text to Ashley with no response. After 6:00 p.m., I sent a fairly terse text to Ashley expressing my frustration at the lack of communication. At 7:30 a.m. the next morning, I received an apologetic text from Ashley explaining that she had been out sick the day before -- a fact that the receptionist should have known and communicated to me. She set about checking the status of my car, as I had hoped to pick it up that morning before work. The service tech was running late and as it turns out, he did not do the work on Tuesday while she was out sick. I advised Ashley that I needed the car no later than 3:30 p.m. that day due to needing to be across town that evening and she assured it would be ready by then, if not before. On my way in, at 3:30 pm, I was advised it may be another 15 minutes before my car was ready. I was finally able to pick up my car a little around 3:45pm and Ashley did have it ready to go, knowing I was pressed for time. My frustration here is that it should have been communicated to me that my car would not be ready on Tuesday and if Ashley was out sick, then another rep or a supervisor should have been handling her customers and keeping them informed. Not once have we ever received a call from management to address our issues or attempt to improve our experience. This, along with our other poor experiences, are why we will not return and will now turn our service over to Denver BMW. Additionally, we will not purchase/lease from Schomp BMW again. I typically leave reviews for places that I love. If my experience isn't stellar, I prefer providing that directly to the establishment and don't post it publicly. However, this has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I'll preface this by saying I'm sympathetic to the landscape of a limited workforce, problems in supply chain, and other indirect consequences we are all experiencing. But the complete lack of accountability for the mishaps during my service experience are beyond unreasonable. I brought in my car for service on October 16th and as of writing this review, I still have no status on when my car will be repaired. In these two weeks I've had to deal with the following: 1. October 16th, 2021: -I was supposed to hear about the status of my car inspection but instead I had to call 5 different people to get a response. No one sent the video if the diagnostic or an update until I spoke to all 5 people -When I needed information on one repair they informed me they couldn't give me an answer because the mechanics/technicians left at 5 pm even though the website says the services department closed at 6 pm. My communications with various members of the services team were between 3 and 6 pm. -When I tried to get a hold of my client advisor Amanda, I received conflicting information about her availability. I spoke to two different people that in the same timeframe said she was busy working with a customer and that she had a family emergency. I hope there wasn't an emergency but unfortunately, the conflicting information came across as disingenuous and a quick response to get me to back off. -I asked to speak to the Director of the Services department Rob and he said he would email all people I worked with and prioritize my car repair first thing Tuesday morning (since they are closed on Monday and Tuesday). So while he would text the team after our late Saturday call, he also said he would call me to figure out if I could get a loaner since while my car was in the shop. 2. October 19th, 2021: -This was the Tuesday Rob was supposed to follow up with me and I heard nothing from either him or my advisor Amanda -Around 1 pm this day I called again to request a status update on my car. At this point, I still hadn't heard from my advisor either and again when people I spoke to said Rob wasn't available or Amanda. No one wanting to get me a more thoughtful update. I asked to speak to someone given the prior conversations and I was directed to Austin Tafoya. -I went through my frustrations again with him and at least he helped me by getting a loaner that day. Rob still never reached back out to me or Amanda. 3. October 20 - 23, 2021 -I did not reach out for an updates as the part was still being ordered and I didn't have any unrealistic expectations for the car to be completed sooner. Finally on October 23, I get one text that says the part for my car came in. 4. October 28th, 2021 -I still had not heard back from anyone on the services side with any form of update. -I reached out this day at 4:53 pm MT requesting an update on my car. I received a text reply that stated "Hi there, let me check into that!" - I never received an update that afternoon or evening 5. October 29th, 2021 -I texted again asking if they would have an update on when my repair work would be done. I have not received an answer -I phoned again around noon and they told me that Amanda wasn't available or Austin was. That she would send an email to let them know. So it is two weeks later and I still don't have my car, no one is providing me an update on when I can expect to have it back, no one will call me back and even the leadership team has fallen short. The worst part is that I've told them all this directly and now the only recourse I have is an online review in hopes this doesn't happen to anyone else and that I eventually get my car back. I'll make this simple. I purchased a car with the service package. I was promised loaner cars each time my car was serviced. It worked beautifully for my first few service appointments. One day I showed up and was told thier is no loaner but an oil change is an Express service and could be done in an hour. This day was when I have 3 week new born twins at home. The express service took 2 hours. I finally told them to bring me my car because my kids needed to eat. They didn't have time to wash or vacuum my car in the two hours. The second service I was back at work and brought laptop to work during this promised 60-90min express service. However the guest wifi was down and thier IT guy could not get me connected. It again took two hours and I didn't get a free car wash. Third time, today, I booked a loaner abd called this morning two hours before my appointment to confirm my loaner. Upon arrival. No loaner. I need to pick up my kick from preschool. They finally ordered me a lift to drive me home. Which I was promised 5 mins ,it was 20 and I was left wandering around the whole dealership on the phone (while carrying a 25 pound car seat in 90 degree heat) with a barely English speaking lift driver trying to tell him where I was/find him.... regardless of the fact I was on the dot of the pick up location. While waiting for the lift, everyone else who was picking up thier cars just got a profuse apology, and customers were clearly pissed but just wanted the ordeal over and said few words getting into thier cars. When I also bought my car cash, they had to run a credit check which was annoying, which does drop your credit score for no reason. They also called me about 8 times during dinner hours with my family to make sure I was happy. Highly annoying. I hate getting my oil changed and no a bottle of water won't fix it. Hate calling and listening to the recorded promises on how easy thier make your life. We really appreciated his call and understanding. __________ Review: Bottom line, we were fleeced in the sales process and paid $2,400 for $650 worth of services, and now, my 5 phone calls and 3 emails are going totally ignored and unanswered by the staff. We've loved our car - just not our dealership, and now find their advertisements about the "straightfoward process" and "1 rep, 1 hour, 1 price" ideas very disingenuous. Here's the background, if you'd like the full history to understand why this review likely isn't an isolated, one-off experience. My wife and I purchased a certified, 2014 X1 from Schomp in July 2017. At the time of purchase, our sales rep offered a prepaid service package, which would cover routine maintenance and services through January, 2020. We asked which routine services would need to performed during the coverage period, based upon an average driver's miles (~10K/year). Our rep was new so she called in a sales manager to help. The manager went down to the service department and had them print out a list of services - multiple oil and filter changes, brake rotor and pad replacements, spark plug replacement, cabin filter, etc. - along with the price for each service, which totaled more than the $2,400 cost of the prepaid service package. We were told we'd not only save money by prepaying for these services, we'd guarantee our rate, as services rates can increase over time. This seemed like a no-brainer, so we purchased the package. Fast-forward to November 2019. We've received two oil changes (roughly $125 each) and spark plug replacements (roughly $400), for a total of $650 in services. They tell us, "Sorry, the CBS (condition-based servicing) monitor in your vehicle says you don't need services," and refuse to perform the "prepaid services." Another service rep told us, "If you drive your car like hell and really beat it down, maybe we'll be able to do some brake work before your package expires in January." Again, the bottom line: we were fleeced in the sales process and paid $2,400 for $650 worth of services. Booked an appointment online June 10th appointment date 6/28 2:15. 2-3 emails and call from them confirming my appointment. I always replied "Yes". Vehicle not running so I had AAA tow it in the 27th, drop vehicle 40 feet outside bay doors and put key fob in envelope with my name in drop box. 28th comes and goes...no call from anyone. I call on 7/1,assigned service advisors phone mail says hes on vacation (with no dates specified) so contact Alijah. After leaving-a vm on original advisor I leave a vm for Alijah. No call until the following morning when Alijah say they a"cant find" my X5. I confirm with towing company drop off particulars. Leave vm for Alijah with information. No call back. Numerous "chats" online people but no calls to me. read more

Because of the lack in service at BMW and the extremely great service I gave my X3 away for $2000 and bought a Honda. I've taken my Honda Pilot, CRV (2 of them now) and my Mercedes SLK 320 to Schomp Honda and was treated with respect and efficiency. I now own a 2005 Buick and plan on them handling the service for it too. read more

Schomp BMW - Highland Ranch is terrible service center. Poor advisors and completely not trust worthy in terms of them conducting repairs as indicated or required. I experienced the worst service from the advisors, their service center support etc. read more

I have to give Schomp Bmw a 5 star for great service and follow up during my new lease and turn in of my vehicle. I worked with Josh Ackerman and he was amazing to work with throughout the process. I came in several times and he helped me find my perfect SUV. He was patient and went above/beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. Josh is a good guy and I would highly recommend to use him if you are looking to purchase or lease. I really like the dealership since I have used both the sales and service departments. I have received great service from both and can appreciate it since I have been a loyal BMW owner for 10 years. I feel that Josh worked hard to get my business. I can honestly say that because I tried another dealership and it was not a good experience from the beginning . That's why I ended up at Schomp Bmw in the 1st place. My 2017 BMW X1 had a sheared cam cover bolt, causing total engine failure with only 57,000 miles. All scheduled maintenance was completed on the vehicle and BMW still refused to cover any costs. Schomp charged me over $1000 just to diagnose and then wanted $24,000 for a new engine. That is more than the car is worth, so I had a tow truck pick up the car, and Schomp was going to reassemble the inoperable engine so they could charge me even more. BMW does not stand by their products and Schomp is price gouging their customers. read more
