They were awesome. As I waited for the banks, they ensured me and my kids were good to go. They have a snack bar that is free with tidbits to eat and whatever you need to drink. Their manager Seth went above and beyond to make sure I got the deal I wanted as well. After going through the sales process I went under the building for my car reveal. They never tried to contact me so how I "ceased to communicate with the dealership" is laughable to me. Just more evidence that confirms my opinion of them as a corporation that cares way more about profit than people....just trying to save face on Yelp. Emily, you try buying a "luxury certified SUV" and have it break down every time you go on vacation to the mountains. Honey, 98 days in the shop and 4 cancelled weekend vacations and see if $4000 would make you feel like you were taken care of. And btw, when I brought it into service the 2nd to the last time, one of your technicians said "this year is known for mechanical issues". Good to know...thanks for selling it to me. If your idea of "substantial efforts" is having the GM make a phone call and get $1000, then you and I will have to disagree about the definition of genuine customer service. You did not step up. You did not. Your reply makes it sound like you worked so hard to please me but it was me who had to repeatedly ask for help. Your GM spent probably less than an hour coming up with that deal. I had to bring that vehicle in for repairs at least 4 times...that's a lot of wasted time. The truth of the matter is that I can afford to eat $4000+. I told your GM, salesperson and service manager that it wasn't just about the money. I spent so much time and energy on this vehicle and on trusting your service department. It was very clear to me that all that mattered that day was whether or not the numbers could work in the dealer's favor (evidenced by your reply)...nothing else was taken into account...absolutely your right to do that. And it's my right to tell people about my factual experience with your dealership. This review is my overall experience with the dealership including service as a whole. I bought a certified X5 from them in 2017 and during the 2 years I had it, it was in their service department for 98 days. It would lose power and was "un-driveable" 6 times over that 2 years. Getting a loaner was never easy - I had to beg and ask for a manager every time because loaners were rarely available immediately. When it was time to trade it in, the sales manager matched what other dealerships gave me for the trade-in and acted as if he was bending over backwards. Predictable, shameful and shallow actions from the sales department. Shomp sold me a wholly unreliable "certified" vehicle that cost me a lot of time, money and frustration. Schomp is getting worse and worse every year. I currently own two BMWs. I purchased one from BMW Downtown location and another one from Schomp BMW (a few years back when the sales team was very good). It was time for me to buy a new SUV, so I gave Schomp a call and stopped by the next day to place an order. Sales rep was very unprofessional to the point where I just left without placing an order. They charge $2k over MSRP for M40i X3 (on top of the delivery fee). I was okay with that thinking that every other BMW dealer does the same thing after COVID. I ordered my new car from BMW Downtown location the next day at MSRP. Downtown location sales guys were surprised that Schomp charges 2k over MSRP. I visited Schomp today to service my other car. I used to take my BMW to Schomp for service until we moved to Arvada. tried them again and was extremely disappointed. Had my car for 5 days and I called numerous times to get an update. I was told my service adviser was with another customer and would call me back. He never did. Got frustrated enough to request to talk to the service manager. finally got a call back that my car was done. They looked at it and because I had replaced the cheap plastic charge pipe and intake manifold with aftermarket metal ones when the plastic failed, they said they wouldn't work on it unless I changed back to stock parts and charged me $200 for the "diagnosis" of informing me I had aftermarket parts. ridiculous! read more

I was told the car would be ready the following morning when I dropped it off the afternoon prior. It was not, and no one contacted me unfortunately. We had the worst experience ever here and will never ever go back! My husband took my vehicle to get an oil change on Thursday afternoon, but the next day we found oil leak spots on the floor of our garage. We went back on Saturday morning to check the issues, but we waited for two and a half hours to speak with them and they still claimed that it wasn't their fault. They said that it was because when they did an oil change some oil splashed underneath the vehicle, which was why the oil leaked onto the floor. However, after the service they had sent me a video of the car and the underneath appeared perfectly clean. Also, if let's say there was just some "splashing," then how was so much oil able to leak out and puddle into our garage floor? My husband spoke with their manager as well, but they did not admit their mistakes and rather kept coming up with excuses. I'm disappointed that BMW would treat their customers in this way, especially when it could also be putting my safety at risk. I now have to find another dealer to double check my vehicle and make sure that I am safe to drive on the road especially since I have two little kids on my car as well. Today I just received a Christmas card from Mark Osborne, General Mgr, at Schomp which included his phone number. And $500 off any car in stock. I bought a 2022 x5 45e brand new at Schomp BMW. It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see that the corner screw that holds the seat controls in place broke off. This screw is under an interior seat panel that isn't exposed. Schomp's service dept and manager (Kyle) told me that it isn't covered under warranty because their opinion is that when the corner breaks off like that it's due to stress. They said to repair it would cost 1K. I have no idea how it broke, but the piece that broke is within the interior of the seat. The car has 13k miles on it and is 1.5 years old, So based on their opinion of what may or may not have broken it they don't have to honor a brand new vehicle's warranty. I would also love to add that I weigh 200lbs and my wife weighs 140 lbs. So if that's too much weight for their seat to handle, I would argue that it's a defective product. I would NEVER give this dealership another dime. Look at their ratings on Dealerrater and Better Business Bureau. read more

They will try to get this removed like they do in google reviews. Let's put it this way. Instead of opening the hood and seeing obvious areas of service, they will dig deep and try to grab you for a few thousand dollars on service. You can just tell they are assholes. Yes charge me for o2s, yea I get it, but don't fix an obviously loose engine cover that needs 2 screws. So what your telling me is that there is a multi point inspection but you fail to recommend a few screws? So what did you actually check? Or did you just plug your insta computer in and print out something for me to see? That's not a multi point inspection. If they really inspected it they would have addressed the engine cover screws. I usually take my M to a private shop, but for shits n giggles I wanted a second opinion kind of assuming they wouldn't catch certain things. And yea I caught them in the act of just doing a half ass inspection and missing obvious areas to be addressed. Just brought my car in as a leap of faith, optimistic on how great dealerships claim they are. But I have to stop giving society and car dealer service centers the benefit of the doubt. 1st They damaged my front bumper and denied doing so even though I had pictures proving it. I pointed it out when I picked up the car and I called the service manager and General Manager several times and they did not even give me the courtesy of a return call. The clutch repair was 3,500.00 and after 2600 mile it failed again. I made the mistake of returning it to them thinking they may stand behind their work. They now tell me it will be $9,600.00 to repair. So far I am out 3 tow charges plus 3,500 for a bad repair and and another 200 for the last diag, an additional 900.00 for the bumper repair and still have an undrivable Z4. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Update: 5 days have passed since they promised to call me back to discuss. And I find it interesting they just denied the damage without taking a moment to look at the problem I took it to another dealer who has the vehicle up and running. I called regarding my bmw X6M. And as i bought my vehicle from them i am stuck with Schomp to get things done for last 4-5 years. They had great service till last year that i took my friends to buy BMWs from them. Since last year i started noticing drastic change in service representatives communication, they are rude and condescending to the point i decided to take my bmw to downtown location and avoided Schomp all together. Infact i called this person recently as i still have some stuff on my repair package which i can only get it done at Schomp and had to call Schomp and this person was whispering through out the conversation and breaking up. I asked her politely to repeat as i said she was breaking up and after a minute or so, she frustratingly whispers in low tone " oh my god" and that obviously if not insulting not sure how to interpret it. I was furious and she argued that she didn't say that. Didn't even bother to apologize for saying that. It's beyond belief and ridiculous. Forget about manners but lying on top of bad interaction to cover her lies is beyond belief to me. If it's on recorded line i want Schomp to go back and listen to the conversation and try to correct their people and teach manners and not to lie and own mistakes if done and apologize if mistake is done. I own multiple businesses and can say for sure that's disgusting and intolerable behavior from anyone if done in my businesses and would need to show exit door from job with no second chance. I owned bmws since last 17 years but i can never ever recommend Schomp to any of my friends in future nor prefer to take it for anything except what i purchased package from them. Avoid the service department and Mark Patterson (technician). I took my vehicle in for a timing chain guide diagnostic for the n20 timing chain guide class action lawsuit. After waiting until the following day I was told they could not diagnose my timing chain until I replaced my serpentine belt and belt tensioner. Me being a recent service advisor for bmw I knew that was not the case. There is 3 different way to diagnose the timing chain without needing a serpentine belt and belt tensioner. After explaining this to them they were deeply remorseful and said that the service advisor was new and still learning. The switched me to a new service advisor. After waiting 5 more days I was told that there was nothing wrong with my timing chain or timing chain guides. When I went to go pick up my vehicle . The paperwork says that my timing chain was "was a little loose" but could not fix it under warranty. The technician then takes it in his own hands to write that my timing chain will no longer be covered if it fails. What gives him the authority to shorten my warranty time and mileage? Please avoid this dealership. I personally worked at gebhardt bmw and seen my fair share of shady dealings things but this tops the cake. They also said I needed front brakes. I have 7mm left. I took my 2001 BMW to Schomp BMW. I did this after calling them and requesting a quote on evacuating and charging my A/C. I was told that it would be $169. I firmly remember that because I had called another auto repair place to compare quotes and was told it would be $149 right after being told it would be $169 at Schomp. Since I lived close to Schomp BMW I decided to take my car there. After they finished with my car I was presented with a bill far greater than the $169. I talked to Chris Adams at Schomp and after a little push back he reduced to the bill to what was originally quoted over the phone (even though I think it was originally misquoted). Do not buy certified pre owned from them. They are selling vehicles supposedly in excellent condition that need thousands of dollars in brake/rotor replacements within months of purchase. Extremely shady and they will not help you when it comes down to it. We didn't trust service initially when they insisted the brakes needed replacement on BOTH of our certified vehicles (one within 3 months of purchase and the other within a year). However, multiple second opinions have shown that service was correct and whomever "certified" our vehicles lied. We will be selling both our vehicles and will never take a dollar of business back to a Schomp dealership. We spent nearly $100k with them and they have lost all of our trust. We've owned several used vehicles from other reputable dealerships and never experienced such issues. It is completely unacceptable and extremely poor business practice. read more

Not a lot of hassle in buying the cars. Still takes awhile even though I am a cash customer. However, the service department is terrible. Got a quote for a new battery over the phone which was completely inaccurate when I actually brought the car in. They wasted my time. Fast forward a few months later and there is a recall for a fuel pump on my 535i. Guys there are clueless and say "we don't know when we will get the parts in". They don't take my name down, don't offer to call back, don't have any information, and just don't bother to care. Schomp BMW dealership excels in straightforward car buying experience. Since they already mark down their cars to adjust for market value, simply haggle free transaction, pay the price you see. I researched other BMW dealerships, Schomp was very competitive and had far more options for most models. They even get an occasional M2, excellent piece of German engineering. The best part is that they cannot mark up the very rare models, per policy and sales approach. On occasion, a sweet Competition M6 surfaces and disappears within days. The service is cordial and professional, their priority is customer service. My sales guy, Agye, was very chill and did everything I requested; I still text him with questions or requests and he delivers promptly. The parts crew is also helpful. The auto service drop off and pickup area is well laid out, automatic garage doors open as you pull up, drive inside; this alone is priceless during winter months. The staff greets you at your car and direct you to the next step. My service assistant actually walked down to the floor and talked to the mechanic for prognosis. The loaners are usually plush, ostensibly, they want you to experience and potentially purchase these options in the future. I've purchased two BMWs from here and the experience was awesome, especially the unveiling of my car and a lesson on the cool hidden features with a BMW genius. Amazing experience! This is my first BMW purchase and the whole thing was great. I was greeted by Josh, a BMW Genius. I didn't know what car I wanted, but I had a checklist. He quickly took me to a 2015 328i xDrive GT and within an hour I was calling it my own! Josh listened to what I wanted in a car and showed me exactly what fit my needs. The test drive was not only informative, it was flat out FUN! Next I met Dave and he took me through the rest of the process, which was so painless! Paperwork was a breeze and the numbers were just what I expected them to be. No surprises! He was very personable and made sure I had everything I needed. We scheduled an appointment on short notice for my daughter's X1, after she let me know the check engine light on her car had come on. It was important to us to have the car looked at on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We brought it in with the understanding that they would perform diagnostics, and that she would make an appointment to come back at a later point for the actual repair. Once we were told the car was ready, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that it was a faulty Oxygen sensor, and that they had the part in stock, and had completed the repair. This really exceeded our expectations. This was my first visit to the dealership, and I have to say I have never seen a dealership like this. I was going to write a five star review, but it now appears that I have to figure out how to collect what the dealership owes me on my 2019 Land Cruiser. Long story short, I had to buy a smaller car (after buying a brand new LC) because I purchased a new home with a small garage. I traded my Land cruiser and ended up with the dealership owing me a considerable amount of money. I was told that I would receive a check within 2 weeks. At the time I thought that sounded longer than necessary, but let it go. Fast forward to 6/18/19. I purchased the new car on May 21st. I still have not been paid what Schomp owes me for my Land Cruiser. Pretty sure those dates add up to longer than two weeks. Bottom line: don't believe what they tell you. I have been to this location 4 separate times and expressed interest in 9 or 10 different models spanning a multitude of trims levels, color, etc and haven't been put in even a single test drive, even after waiting between 1-3 hours each time, the communication between employees there is extremely poor, they don't communicate what cars are available, out on test drives, where keys for cars are, they employees are kind but overall don't deliver a quality experience and was sadly disappointed after walking in very excited to be there on multiple occasions. read more

It first took a month to schedule an appointment to get a loner car. Then they called me and told me my car was ready, their service hours are incorrect on their website. I drove out there and nobody could help. Then I had to phone 3 times on Monday to get a hold of the service advisor. Finally THREE hours later I get a call back. I was told my car could be brought to me. The service advisor told me it could 2.5 hours. They don't have my card on file. Then some one else called and asked if my car was could be under someone else's name. Still don't have my car or anyone letting me know. I tried asking for a supervisor and he was repeating my address to me, it didn't sound right but, I have a hearing loss, he got snappy with me. My home is not easy to find so I wanted to make sure. I just don't know how you bill someone for service but don't know who's name the car is under. I won't take my car back here ever!!!! read more

My first experience with Schomp was when I needed to bring my BMW in for an airbag recall. Despite the fact that I was coming in for a free repair, I was still treated as a valued customer. They completed the repair in a timely manner and also did a complimentary inspection of the car which uncovered another issue that I did ask for them to also repair. My second experience with them was this past weekend when we decided to get a new (used) BMW for my wife. We made it clear we were shopping for used not new and for a particular model. There was zero attempt to "up sell" us to a new vehicle or different model. They were spot on with the valuation of our trade in which may be the first time I've ever encountered this at a dealership! I enjoyed their no haggle pricing. The published price is their price....PERIOD! They invited us to shop other dealers if we didn't feel the pricing was fair. This was not said in a derogatory manner...just in a polite matter of fact way. Frankly, we had no problem with their sticker prices. Of course they do try to offer accessories for the vehicle but we felt our sales person was very honest on what was and may not be a good deal or even necessary. Be prepared to pay up for any additional warranty or maintenance program even for a certified pre-owned vehicle. Their maintenance program is probably a good deal if you are religious in getting your preventive maintenance completed. Once the sale was complete, they had a technician take us through the car's systems rather than just referring us to the owners manual. In all, we felt like we were appreciated and valued customers. Very unlike my experience at another dealership nearby. You can search for that review under my profile. My only feedback on areas for improvement would be a better inventory control system. There was one car in their internet inventory that we could not find on the lot. Also, it would be nice if their offices had ceiling dividers in place for increased privacy. I dropped my car off for a routine service and when I went to pick my vehicle up they came to me telling me that they lost my keys and couldn't locate my car, even more interestingly they made me Uber home and provided me with no support or update on my car. When I called in asking for a call from there manager, Joe Link, to just get an update on the situation. I got no call back and again, no assistance on the status of my lost vehicle.... didn't know a customers car being lost wasn't worth the Service managers attention. Despite the fact I was leaving the next day, he made time to get me in to replace her headlight. CJ replaced the headlight himself. All I did was buy a new one from parts. Then he topped off the washer fluid and took the car through the carwash! All this happened despite their full service schedule. I purchased my car in 2019 . And so far car has been great however have not been impressed with services at all . I scheduled regular service maintenance and then was called the day of saying they have to reschedule because they were short staffed. Then when when I came in for my appointment they did not have a loaner for me because the person who rescheduled me did not request for one even when I asked if he could when reschedule . And was told I was scheduled as a drop in and one the bottom of the priority list . Then was told she would see if she could get us a loaner and never came back to tell us if she could or not . When they completed my services was told that I had to pay for my services when I was told from the last visit that services will be covered . Without telling me before they started the services that my warranty was expired . And was told I had to get it in writing like this is was somehow my fault ? As they were figuring out everything to pick up my vehicle . They managed to lose my key . I don't know what has happened to how this company operates but it has gone down entirely since when I first purchased my car . It's like it was an inconvenience for them to do their job .
