We had a bad experience at this dealership. I walked into there show room with my wife and her parents. They were visiting from Europe. There was an older woman at the counter who kind of scowled at us. No one asked us of we needed any help. We felt very unwelcome. We were all dressed well. My wife and I make more than enough money to buy a bmw. ( I had 20k to put down when I walked in) I was excited to get some information and to test drive a few different options. That enthusiasm was put to rest quickly after the feeling we got when we walked into the showroom. Sad..... We went back outside and there were three people with Shomp shirts on standing around a Lexus. They didn't even say hi to us. Either these guys don't want to sell cars or they don't like foreigners. Either way, we won't be giving them our business. If you decide to come here regardless of your income or portfolio I recommend renting a tuxedo if you want to be helped good luck guys. read more

I purchased a new BMW from this dealership, and had a wonderful experience. There is no hassle and the process is smooth. I was provided incentives/discounts I didn't ask for, plus a fresh set of all-weather floor/cargo mats for my brand new SUV. Everyone was kind, professional, and always had smiles on their faces! My one and only complaint was the pressure to purchase a service agreement package and extended warranty. The fear tactics didn't work, and while something like that works for some, it was getting a bit silly. But they're only doing their job, and I'm sure there is incentive to the sales person to add a $20k-$30k service package to the sale. Nonetheless, I'd buy from this dealership again in a heartbeat and recommend for anyone buying their first BMW. read more

This whole thing happened all over again today. They have one excuse after the other. I had scheduled valet pick up for today at 10:40 am which was confirmed by email. I just hung up the phone (2 hours after they were supposed to be here) only to find out they don't have any loaners available...blah, blah, blah. No heads up phone call from this dealership, no remorse. No one had any intentions of notifying me!! Here's their solution: Schomp BMW failed, so I should now make a phone call to BMW Roadside Assist. Roadside assist will find a towing truck to transport my car to Ralph Schomp BMW, When that truck arrives (time unknown at this point) I should "hop in" the truck to Highlands Ranch and pick up the loaner myself. But I thought you just said there are no loners available...?! What utter nonsense! read more

I wish I could give one star. I have had three different experiences with Schomp, and none of them have been great, but my experience with the service department today takes the cake. The first two were with sales. I called to schedule an appointment for windshield repair since you cannot schedule that service online. I was told that windshields can only be replaced on Fridays and given an appointment almost a month out. In the meantime, the crack in my windshield has taken over my entire window. My wife dropped off my car at the scheduled appointment time of 8:15 am this morning. I previously emailed my claim number to Schomp, and received confirmation they had received it. When she dropped it off she was told they had everything they needed, and then he said that he would try to get it over to them as soon as possible in hopes that they could get to it today because "they were overbooked". I texted the service department at 11:15 am to see what time I could expect my car to be finished. They texted back: "My windshield team has informed me 'Please have the guest call USAA and tell them that we will be doing the work and to dispatch it to us'". I was given the number of the windshield team, which went straight to voicemail five separate times. I called USAA, and they had no idea what Schomp wanted beyond the claim number. After back and forth with Brian who was smug and unhelpful, I asked to speak with a service manager. Initially Kyle acted as a middle man, but I reminded him that I dropped my car off at Schomp BMW and not with whatever company they are using to replace windshields. Kyle eventually assured me that he would get to the bottom of it and keep me updated. At 4:39 pm Kyle called me back and told me that they could not get the information they needed from USAA, and my car wasn't finished. Needless to say I was furious, and picked up the car. I have an appointment at Denver BMW on Monday, and the glass is in stock. (1) If you need information from me or my insurance company before an appointment, then get it (2) When I schedule an appointment at 815 for glass replacement, I expect it to be finished in a reasonable time - most certainly the same day (3) If all else fails, fix the windshield and let me worry about my insurance claim. I explained multiple times that I am more than happy to pay for the windshield, and then submit the required paperwork to USAA (4) I will never go back to Schomp and will make sure to share my experience with anybody who asks read more

I bought a used car here a few years ago. The price was good but the salesmen were super pushy and applied a lot of pressure to get me to buy a car. Even before I said yes they were already prepping the car and got pissed when I said I wasn't committing to buying the car. The only reason I ended up buying the car was because one of the salesman took over and walked me through the sale. There was a sense of pure desperation in pushing me to buy a car so I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are ready to pull the trigger. The car I bought was a lemon in that I ended up spending several thousand dollars on repairs shortly after the purchase. Unfortunately I didn't purchase the extended warranty but I didn't think that a car with only 40,000 miles on it could be so unreliable. read more

I don't recommend this joint. Aside from the A-ok tour of looking at a Volkswagen car, everything else fell in shambles. The service here at Schomp BMW wasn't even professional. Our assistant, Malcolm was his name, wasn't returning our calls whatsoever and it was frankly frustrating. He was running my credit score with different banks after I told him to only run it for my bank. Unfortunately, being lied to after agreeing to only run it with my bank, he was ultimately unprofessional and totally ghosted us. It was a car sales experience from hell. read more

I bought my 08 BMW 335xi at this dealership back in August of 2016 and their no haggle pricing was pretty close to KBB's estimate on its value. I also only dealt with the salesperson as she handled everything including taking my check as I pay cash for my cars. I would say that I was in and out in about 2 hours, which is not bad for a dealership. The staff was very friendly and they provided water or snacks while you waited. I had to bring it in for some repairs in December of 2016, which was no fault of their own, but the fact that something went wrong at around 87k on it. They kept the cost to a minimum and I had to get some work done on it again in July of 2017, but we kept the cost down to $360, which is really good for fixing a BMW. They also detail your car if you bring it to the shop and they do all my oil changes for a very reasonable price and they gave me a loaner when they did the oil change. The people running the service department are also very good and responsible. Overall, the dealership has impressed me and I tend to be skeptical of them, but these guys do go the extra mile. read more

They sold me an electric car that they knew did not function in the Colorado climate. The car also stopped and lost complete power twice while driving on the 470. Cars were speeding by me at 90mph, as I was on the shoulder and had only owned the car for 3 months. There are many employees that you may speak with. They do not care about you. They do not care about your needs. The only care about a sale and will give you any lies necessary to make that sale. Please save your time. Save your money. Don't bother. read more

***This review is for the service department It's unfortunate that some people have had bad experiences with Schomp BMW's service department but I've had nothing but amazing customer service and work done on my 4 series since I first started bringing it in two years ago. I bought a lemon (from another dealership) and almost immediately started having problems left and right. Event though I have a warranty, Schomp has covered parts and labor for work that wasn't necessarily covered by my warranty. My service rep Dylan Z. and all the techs I've interacted with have all been friendly, courteous, and helpful. Schomp is also the largest BMW dealership in Colorado, the number of cars they service is astounding. All my tires are from Schomp because Discount Tire never has the Pirellis I need and I don't want to wait 3 or 4 days for them. I recently got a nail in a tire that was purchased through Schomp about six months ago and through BMW's Tire Road Hazard Program, the price of the tire was covered by Schomp. Having the ability to schedule a loaner is by far one of the best things about getting my vehicle serviced at the dealership. I've never had any issues with picking up a loaner and am grateful that Schomp offers this service to its customers. I've also utilized the shuttle and have always had wonderful drivers. Some people say you pay a premium for getting your car serviced at a dealership but I think the benefits far out weigh the cost: I know the work and parts are covered, the labor is top notch, and there's added perks like shuttles and loaners available. If you own a BMW and can't afford to maintain it properly then why did you get a German car? These guys are great and I'll continue taking my car to them! read more

This is the worst dealership I have ever had to deal with. I have always driven imports and have always had great service, and you would expect good service from a bmw dealer...but that is not the case at this dealership. I have asked to speak with the manager of the service department for several days and he won't call me back. My car was stolen and recovered and the damage was minimal, mostly electrical as the thief ripped out the gps. They have had my car for over one month and it's still not ready. Currently waiting on one piece that is on order. I wanted to be able to drive my suv and bring it back in when the part came. I look the car over today and the body work hasn't even been completed. It was in the body shop for 8 days and they didn't even do the work. The service people are unreachable and seems like there is turnover, as another review mentioned. We were thinking of trading in our 2018 X3 for an X5 and even as much as I love the car, there is no way in hell I could deal with this dealership for service. If they don't make it right soon, I may just have to sell this car and find a better dealership that gives a damn. read more

My experience: -Tuesday, brought my wife's car in for our scheduled 10:15am appointment for a warranty repair -Wednesday, told: "ordered part, ETA Thursday" -Thursday, told: "part arrived, should be ready on Friday" -Friday, told: "the wrong part came". Asked: how they didn't realize this on Thursday. Told: "we ordered the right part and the right part box came, wrong part in box" (seemed very hard to believe, but will become less believable soon). Told: "should be done tomorrow" -Saturday, told: "the part did not arrive on the truck today, next day we are open is Tuesday". Asked: is the part going to arrive on Tuesday? Told: "we can only know on Tuesday when the part gets scanned in off the truck." Asked: Seems like you should know if the part is on the truck when it is scanned for departure. Told: "I wish we could" (this can't possibly be true) -Tuesday afternoon, told: "The part is on backorder with no ETA, car is drivable, I will have the car ready for you to pick up later today" (how in the world did it take a week of me being without a car to find out the part is on backorder?). Told: "The car is ready for pickup". Drove in to pick up the car. Car brought out for my wife to drive home. When she gets in she sees exposed wiring and parts on the seat... the car was not put back together!?! We refuse to take the car (obviously) and are promised that the car will be put back together and delivered to our home on Wednesday. -Wednesday afternoon at 4pm no car, no word from Schomp, reached out and told: "got it done, just wrapped up". Asked: "When will it be delivered?" Told: "Tomorrow AM" -Thursday: Car finally arrives back at my house after 10 days without a car, two trips to the dealer, and countless time spent trying to get an ETA. Zero accountability. This is the service experience for a luxury brand? ------ Responding to Brianna: While obviously David should have proactively reached out to me, I reached out to him, so he is certainly aware of all of the details above - needless to say I posted this review after seeing no effort to make things right or seriously understand the nature of the problem. So. I keep trying to use this dealership because it is the closest one to my home. However, it seems like every time I try I am disappointed. I would have liked to have purchased my X3 e Hybrid at Schomp originally. They had a car I wanted, I liked the sales person and enjoyed my test drive. Unfortunately, The sales manager was unable to make the time to give me a price on my trade-in and I eventually gave up and bought a car from the downtown BMW dealership. When it came time to have my car in for its first service/oil change, I thought "Well, that's just one person and maybe the service department is more professional." I made an appointment, brought my car in on time and started waiting. And waiting. Finally at the end of the day, I returned to the dealership and found my car sitting outside, untouched. I asked for my keys and took my unserviced car home with the intention of booking an appointment with the downtown BMW dealership. The Schomp service manager called me and apologized profusely, explaining that the technician got the wrong car and simply forgot about my car. They did come to my house, picked up my car, left me a loaner and comped my oil change. I thought "OK, one mistake and they did make it good." Then last Wednesday, I got in my car to run an errand and there was a message that said that said it had a drive train malfunction and that it was undrivable. I called BMW roadside assistance and they were able to see my error codes while I was sitting in my garage and the operator (who was great) put me on hold momentarily to confer with a BMW master mechanic. At that point, the drive train message stopped and only the check engine light remained. Since the car was then drivable, they advised me to take the car to the nearest dealership (Schomp) as soon as I was able. The first thing I was told at the dealership when I arrived was that there were no loaner cars. The explanation I got was that 17 people had loaners and were refusing to return them even though they were being charged $100 a day. I don't know why 17 people would refuse to return their loaner if they had gotten their own car back even if they weren't being charged, but whatever. The next thing I was told was that it takes 4 hours to run an engine diagnostic and that there were 40 cars in front of me so it probably would not happen that day. The next day I was told that they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car and that they had to ask BMW North America and that it takes a long time to hear back. Then I was told that BMW told them something to do and they tried that but it still had the light on so they had to ask them again and it would take a long time to hear back. Consequently, my car sat at Schomp for Sunday and Monday because those are the days they are closed. On Tuesday, I waited until noon before I texted the advisor to try to find out what the issue was with the car. She did not respond for an hour and a half and by now, I really needed my car. I got a ride to the dealership and asked her in person and she said that she just found out 15 minutes ago that they still didn't know what is wrong with my car and they were asking BMW of North America and it would take another 24 hours for them to hear back. I asked for my keys, got in my car and left. Now I know these new cars are complicated, and maybe this is BMW North America's fault as much as Schomp's but this car is less than a year old and it should not be having this kind of problem in the first place. But if it does have this kind of problem, I think someone at the BMW dealership should be able to figure out what the problem is within 3 or 4 days. I'm going to take the car to another BMW dealership and if they tell me the same things in a way that makes more sense, I'll modify my review. read more

Horrible BMW service. Took my car for a vehicle inspection which was due. Also had a check engine and oil light on. I drove 2 hours from my house to this location as it was the only one near. I was told I would be notified when my service was completed which had a general time around 3:00.The service representative did not respond to 3 different texts which she stated would be the preferred means of communication. I was wanting to get an auto engine start installed, in addition to possible getting a set of winter tires put on. Finally I had to call the rep twice at 2:30 to get an update on the status. I was told that she never received my texts - even though they were all in a response thread she sent to me upon arrival. My check engine and oil lights were fixed, but none of the other service requests were done nor was my car given a wash like protocol ensures. This is absolutely not the quality service that I am used to from other BMW dealerships and was a huge disappointment. Horrible series of events! read more

So we had a function at the venue that is on the property. The huge black building where you decide how you would like your car built. It's upstairs in the mini building is fairly large I would say you would said at least a couple hundred people comfortably. We probably had about 100 last night. I'm not sure where they catered from but there is a bar there. It was excellent food, the music was amazing and sounded great and the comfort and style were very modern. I would definitely suggest it for a function, conference or party. The bonus was the valet parking! read more

Anyone who works here with children or family that share the same roads as this employee need to have a serious talk with him before he kills someone. My dog and I were getting breakfast, and had just pulled out of the Chick Fil A parking lot when a grey BMW approached from behind at an extreme rate of speed, causing him to lock up his brakes and forcing me to the side of the road. This driver would then peel out around the next stop light, barely allowing me to speed up enough to get his license plate number to call the police. This employee then reached speeds easily approaching 100 miles per hour, not even able to maintain his lane, and forcing at least two other drivers out of their lane in front of a Children's Hospital, no less. I hope this is taken very seriously before he kills someone. read more

My 2011 328xi had no serious issues until I brought to here for an oil change. First the oil change price was different from the price on their website - that was fixed easily. Then the were "magically" 6 things that needed immediate attention. One an independent shop had told be about, I was not surprise at that. The others, one of these may have been caused on purpose. Impossible to prove but suspicious when the car is returned with the camera disconnected. There were 2 of the repairs that were not even needed. Very disappointed. read more

Outstanding! Conscientious! Knowledgeable! Detail Oriented! As a BMW fan, owning a small collection, I've visited a number of BMW dealers. Few, if any, compare to Schomp. My go-to dealer in Colorado was actually another one in Denver. It was there where I began working with Chris Bridges, but an equally sad day for me when he left into the abyss. Once I discovered that Chris landed at Schomp BMW, the decision was an easy one. My E92M3 I brought to Chris last week. He went over the top to ensure that my car was protected, kept indoors, brilliantly serviced and, as always, remained sensitive to my budget. The Tech, Brady, spent extra time getting my alignment just perfect, and was able to mend the plastic shroud/housings under the fender, saving me considerably. Chris Bridges also has such a keen appreciation and first hand knowledge of the working nature of older and newer BMW's, I can't imagine working with anybody else. He's much more than a service advisor. The loaner that he and Greg arranged on short notice was absolutely first class. I also find the people at Schomp BMW slow to insult my intelligence. While I'm hardly a trained Tech., I have gathered some knowledge of BMW's and perform some repairs myself. I can always count on getting an honest answer or repair direction from Chris or the Techs. at Schomp. They care. They really do. read more

So riddle me this; you take your car in to get serviced, mileage check up and new tires at Schomp BMW. Nothing is wrong with it, just needs new tires and maybe a premature oil change. You get a call saying your vehicle is ready to go and doing good, everything came back excellent for it's mileage check up just needed a little brake pad sensor wiring TLC. You drive off and go all the way home (100 miles). Your BMW then starts puking coolant not even 24 hours later. You call the dealership and they "swear they mentioned your coolant was leaking and needed replacing". Ummm no, why would I drive up the mountain with knowing my coolant was leaking/broken?! I obviously would of left it there to be fixed. BECAUSE thats what people do who take care of their cars do! I then recheck my bill and run through of everything they did. NOTHING about coolant. Absolutely nothing, just the brake sensor needed replacing. Back and forth we email and talk on the phone then I receive an email stating that I needed to replace the coolant lines etc, with a VIDEO of my vehicle and an estimate of a certain amount, WHY wasn't I shown this when picking up the car, I have no idea! Then that estimate ended up being the wrong estimate and was sent another for about $1800 more. Now my car is not drive-able, and they want me to pay for a tow so I can pay them around $2500 to fix the problem that wasn't there when I originally dropped it off to get new tires! Absolutely not. Good try. Maybe if there would of been a little bit of taking ownership for the mistake made that caused a BIGGER problem. So disappointed I have spent well over $10K at this dealership trusting them to fix and maintain my X5. Honestly, I feel bad for writing this but something HAS GOT to be said! So needless to say I am retracting my business from Schomp BMW. Side note: they are getting two stars because they offer loaner cars and that to me is key. Because long story short, before all of the above they had my car for 5 months. And they sent me two free months of XM radio! read more

I was told the car would be ready the following morning when I dropped it off the afternoon prior. It was not, and no one contacted me unfortunately. I was unable to get my car that day and quite frankly was pretty annoyed. Well - they made it right! More than right! My car was detailed to perfection - inside and out. I bought a 2022 x5 45e brand new at Schomp BMW. It cost 80k. A year and a half later and with the vehicle only having 13k miles on it, the passenger seat electrical panel fell apart. You can see that the corner screw that holds the seat controls in place broke off. This screw is under an interior seat panel that isn't exposed. Schomp's service dept and manager (Kyle) told me that it isn't covered under warranty because their opinion is that when the corner breaks off like that it's due to stress. They said to repair it would cost 1K. I have no idea how it broke, but the piece that broke is within the interior of the seat. The car has 13k miles on it and is 1.5 years old, So based on their opinion of what may or may not have broken it they don't have to honor a brand new vehicle's warranty. I would also love to add that I weigh 200lbs and my wife weighs 140 lbs. So if that's too much weight for their seat to handle, I would argue that it's a defective product. I would NEVER give this dealership another dime. Look at their ratings on Dealerrater and Better Business Bureau. read more

I used to take my BMW to Schomp for service until we moved to Arvada. tried them again and was extremely disappointed. Had my car for 5 days and I called numerous times to get an update. I was told my service adviser was with another customer and would call me back. He never did. Got frustrated enough to request to talk to the service manager. finally got a call back that my car was done. They looked at it and because I had replaced the cheap plastic charge pipe and intake manifold with aftermarket metal ones when the plastic failed, they said they wouldn't work on it unless I changed back to stock parts and charged me $200 for the "diagnosis" of informing me I had aftermarket parts. ridiculous! read more

I have had my car for about a year and I definitely feel buyers remorse. The car is nice but the service is not good. I am sitting here writing this review while waiting for a simple oil change, it has been two hours at this point and this is with an appointment. I'm sure my car will be ready soon but this is pretty bad. My last car was an Infiniti and I really miss how good the service was at Mike Ward. Update 6/26/2020 I received feedback from my review from a BMW representative who asked me to contact the service manager directly via email. This seemed like a fair request so I sent him a message on 6/15. I never received any response back. I am lowering my score from two stars to one. Great car dealership. I had contacted them earlier in the week to get a used car. I told them my situation and they gave me above market value for my car, hooked me up with a military discount and got me my first BMW. I worked with Chuck and Toby for my sales team. They were awesome. As I waited for the banks, they ensured me and my kids were good to go. They have a snack bar that is free with tidbits to eat and whatever you need to drink. Their manager Seth went above and beyond to make sure I got the deal I wanted as well. After going through the sales process I went under the building for my car reveal. Tak walked me through all the widgets in my new car. Completely professional staff. Highly recommended anyone to go there and get a new car. Maybe a top ranking dealership with sales. But for Christ sake complete shit service center. Don't know what's up but it's either the dealership training, or they hire amateurs. They will try to get this removed like they do in google reviews. Let's put it this way. Instead of opening the hood and seeing obvious areas of service, they will dig deep and try to grab you for a few thousand dollars on service. You can just tell they are assholes. Yes charge me for o2s, yea I get it, but don't fix an obviously loose engine cover that needs 2 screws. So what your telling me is that there is a multi point inspection but you fail to recommend a few screws? So what did you actually check? Or did you just plug your insta computer in and print out something for me to see? That's not a multi point inspection. If they really inspected it they would have addressed the engine cover screws. I usually take my M to a private shop, but for shits n giggles I wanted a second opinion kind of assuming they wouldn't catch certain things. And yea I caught them in the act of just doing a half ass inspection and missing obvious areas to be addressed. Just brought my car in as a leap of faith, optimistic on how great dealerships claim they are. But I have to stop giving society and car dealer service centers the benefit of the doubt. They never tried to contact me so how I "ceased to communicate with the dealership" is laughable to me. Just more evidence that confirms my opinion of them as a corporation that cares way more about profit than people....just trying to save face on Yelp. Emily, you try buying a "luxury certified SUV" and have it break down every time you go on vacation to the mountains. Honey, 98 days in the shop and 4 cancelled weekend vacations and see if $4000 would make you feel like you were taken care of. And btw, when I brought it into service the 2nd to the last time, one of your technicians said "this year is known for mechanical issues". Good to know...thanks for selling it to me. If your idea of "substantial efforts" is having the GM make a phone call and get $1000, then you and I will have to disagree about the definition of genuine customer service. You did not step up. You did not. Your reply makes it sound like you worked so hard to please me but it was me who had to repeatedly ask for help. Your GM spent probably less than an hour coming up with that deal. I had to bring that vehicle in for repairs at least 4 times...that's a lot of wasted time. The truth of the matter is that I can afford to eat $4000+. I told your GM, salesperson and service manager that it wasn't just about the money. I spent so much time and energy on this vehicle and on trusting your service department. It was very clear to me that all that mattered that day was whether or not the numbers could work in the dealer's favor (evidenced by your reply)...nothing else was taken into account...absolutely your right to do that. And it's my right to tell people about my factual experience with your dealership. I'm my opinion, Shomp is all about doing what's right for Shomp...you're not an easy company to do business with and I certainly didn't feel valued as a customer. Lastly, Mercedes easily matched the amount you offered without making me feel like they were doing me a favor. They have been lovely to work with and I've had absolutely no issues getting to and from the mountains in my very reliable Benz SUV. Original post from 8/27/19: I've worked with several individuals in the service department who were professional and competent at Schomp. This review is my overall experience with the dealership including service as a whole. I bought a certified X5 from them in 2017 and during the 2 years I had it, it was in their service department for 98 days. It would lose power and was "un-driveable" 6 times over that 2 years. Getting a loaner was never easy - I had to beg and ask for a manager every time because loaners were rarely available immediately. When it was time to trade it in, the sales manager matched what other dealerships gave me for the trade-in and acted as if he was bending over backwards. Predictable, shameful and shallow actions from the sales department. Shomp sold me a wholly unreliable "certified" vehicle that cost me a lot of time, money and frustration. I was treated better and received better offers by multiple used car lots. Shomp is not a premier, high-end, customer-focused dealership. Please learn from my horrible experience and go elsewhere. read more

Schomp is getting worse and worse every year. I currently own two BMWs. I purchased one from BMW Downtown location and another one from Schomp BMW (a few years back when the sales team was very good). It was time for me to buy a new SUV, so I gave Schomp a call and stopped by the next day to place an order. Sales rep was very unprofessional to the point where I just left without placing an order. They charge $2k over MSRP for M40i X3 (on top of the delivery fee). I was okay with that thinking that every other BMW dealer does the same thing after COVID. I ordered my new car from BMW Downtown location the next day at MSRP. Downtown location sales guys were surprised that Schomp charges 2k over MSRP. I visited Schomp today to service my other car. I noticed a huge sign "We will buy your car", so I reached out to sales team to get a quote and once again received a very disrespectful and unprofessional service from the sales team. read more

We had the worst experience ever here and will never ever go back! My husband took my vehicle to get an oil change on Thursday afternoon, but the next day we found oil leak spots on the floor of our garage. We went back on Saturday morning to check the issues, but we waited for two and a half hours to speak with them and they still claimed that it wasn't their fault. They said that it was because when they did an oil change some oil splashed underneath the vehicle, which was why the oil leaked onto the floor. However, after the service they had sent me a video of the car and the underneath appeared perfectly clean. Also, if let's say there was just some "splashing," then how was so much oil able to leak out and puddle into our garage floor? My husband spoke with their manager as well, but they did not admit their mistakes and rather kept coming up with excuses. I'm disappointed that BMW would treat their customers in this way, especially when it could also be putting my safety at risk. I now have to find another dealer to double check my vehicle and make sure that I am safe to drive on the road especially since I have two little kids on my car as well. For your safety, I would not recommend going here. read more

Long story short. Three months ago we went in, picked a car, in stock, negotiated a price (yes they will negotiate) and went home. Called next day to see if they would still honor the price--they answered yes. Received an email confirmation on said price. Good. Went in to buy the car...no changes. SCHOMP BMW WOULD NOT HONOR AGREED UPON PRICE IN EMAIL. Let that sink in a moment. We immediately left and bought a car at BMW of Downtown--five stars! Today I just received a Christmas card from Mark Osborne, General Mgr, at Schomp which included his phone number. And $500 off any car in stock. Mark Osborn, somehow I feel your Christmas card and offer is disingenuous--to say the least! And oh, the included phone number was wrong--went to another employee when I called. read more

Do not buy certified pre owned from them. They are selling vehicles supposedly in excellent condition that need thousands of dollars in brake/rotor replacements within months of purchase. Extremely shady and they will not help you when it comes down to it. We didn't trust service initially when they insisted the brakes needed replacement on BOTH of our certified vehicles (one within 3 months of purchase and the other within a year). However, multiple second opinions have shown that service was correct and whomever "certified" our vehicles lied. We will be selling both our vehicles and will never take a dollar of business back to a Schomp dealership. We spent nearly $100k with them and they have lost all of our trust. We've owned several used vehicles from other reputable dealerships and never experienced such issues. It is completely unacceptable and extremely poor business practice. read more

Okay so I am just letting everyone know right now that I am NOT a regular high-end car buyer so keep that in mind with this review, but i think 5 stars is still appropriate. That being said, since this is my first car that is of a higher quality, I am experiencing service at a level that I have never experienced before. I have had excellent service when I bought my first brand new car (a Honda Civic) almost 20 years ago - even though I have had good service at dealerships as I serviced new cars during the warranty period exclusively at a dealer. But I have not experienced that quality of service since my first new car until now when I began coming to Ralph Schomp BMW. Even though I did not purchase my car here, as I bought a six year old excellent used BMW from a private seller, I am treated as if I am a valuable customer. The fact that you are able to make an appointment and they are ready for you when you come in to have your car serviced is an excellent sign that they respect your time/ schedule. Each and every person greets you or asks you respectfully if you have been assisted.! Everyone! This is almost unheard of in the car service industry in the 20+ years of dealing with auto dealership's service department. This gives me a whole new level of respect for a business that is customer focused and knows how to take care of the ones they have. Today I brought my car in for an oil change and decided to wait on that to be done and I was able to be there when they came back with an assessment of a serious issue with a leak in my car. I never once felt like I was being scammed or that they were just trying to drum up business. I have experienced that with other dealerships in their service departments. I have also experienced where a dealership simply didn't care to look beyond the basic service that I had come in for and it has cost me quite a bit by the failure of addressing a simple problem too late. That is not the case here at Schomp BMW. I felt like they were focused on addressing something that needed attention to avoid a much bigger problem down the road. And since this was going to be several hours to repair, they immediately offered me a loaner car so I could continue my day. I have never had anything go so smoothly before when it came to unexpected delays and cost. And once I got the loaner car I actually asked about having a pet in the car since I needed to take my dog to the vet and they clearly stated that I had no worries and that they were pet friendly. Shocking since I had not planned on being without my car and I didn't have to change my day's plans! So there is no question that I will continue to have my vehicle serviced here for as long as I remain in the area. Even if I were to move an hour plus away I think their level of customer focused service would be worth the drive. I am impressed with this business and I highly recommend them. 1st They damaged my front bumper and denied doing so even though I had pictures proving it. I pointed it out when I picked up the car and I called the service manager and General Manager several times and they did not even give me the courtesy of a return call. The clutch repair was 3,500.00 and after 2600 mile it failed again. I made the mistake of returning it to them thinking they may stand behind their work. They now tell me it will be $9,600.00 to repair. So far I am out 3 tow charges plus 3,500 for a bad repair and and another 200 for the last diag, an additional 900.00 for the bumper repair and still have an undrivable Z4. I highly recommend going somewhere else. Update: 5 days have passed since they promised to call me back to discuss. And I find it interesting they just denied the damage without taking a moment to look at the problem I took it to another dealer who has the vehicle up and running. And the quote to replace the SMG pump thru them (if I were to need one) is 1,400.00 read more
