My son and I shared a corned beef Reuben and he loved it and as did I. It was big enough for us to share and with some leftover.

It says "Best Corned Beef in Town" on the exterior, that is not a fabrication and boy does it deliver. Diverse selection on the menu. The sandwiches are big and come with a deli pickle. They also serve Michigan products, Better Made Chips and Faygo Pop. Did I mention that they are the nicest people. Their quick to get you order ready and get you on your way or you can relax in the dinning area. They always take care of us first responders as well. stopped in here for lunch today, place is clean and the owner is very nice. The food was not up to par. The corned beef quality in itself is nice, they get their products from United meat company. The corned beef in a sandwich was very overcooked and dry. My best guess is that the reason for this is they were slow and i feel like the beef was cooked days before... i guess what really got to me is that the owner himself made the sandwich out of corned beef which he knew wasn't the best or cooked fresh. My office just recently moved to downtown Milford, I have been here twice now got the #1 both times corned beef & cole slaw with provolone instead of swiss on rye YUM!!! I'm very picky about corned beef as you so very rarely find good corned beef. I don't normally spend $10 on lunch but this will be my occasional splurge for sure!! Great sandwiches, but skip the side dishes. Love deli's!! So happy that there is one in the area. Sandwiches are all mostly huge and very fresh with lots of options. I love lox on a bagel so I was a little disappointed for the price how small it ended up being. The bagel was a small, overly chewy, multi-grain. Not the best choice to pair with cream cheese and salmon. Bigger bagel please!! My family also eats coleslaw by the pound and were so disappointed with how BLAND it is. The potato salad too. I bought them a couple times just to make sure it wasn't a random batch. I just can't believe for how well they do things with the sandwiches that the owners tasted this coleslaw and thought it was a winner. Colasanti's has a way better slaw, not the greatest but if I have to choose.... read more

We hosted a party and had sandwich wraps, potato salad and cole slaw. Unfortunately, it was nothing special. The potato salad tasted like they bought it at Costco. It was not homemade. I ordered a reuben and it was acceptable but nothing special and the price was a little high. These are the issues I had: - Taste was a little bland but too bad. I could barely taste the Russian dressing. - As you can tell from some of the pictures, the only thing really holding the sandwich together is the toothpick. The sandwich is not well structured primarily due to the generic sliced bread that's used to hold it together. I had difficulty getting the ingredients to stay on my sandwich. Needs better bread or they need to take more care in layering the ingredients. - Price was high side but not unreasonable. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and spacious. I have no particular favorite as I like to explore the sandwich menu, and everything I have had has been delicious. The breads are fresh, all the meat varieties done to perfection, whether it's the corned beef, pastrami, roast beef or turkey. Old school Faygo soda to drink if you care for soda. Potato salad and coleslaw sides if your extra hungry, and both are good. My last visit was roast beef brisket on an onion roll, slice of tomato and raw onion, and a stone ground, lightly horseradished mustard. So good my mouth is watering just thinking about it. False advertising. Went in here they watched me order from the menu they had there. They didn't say a word about are menu prices are all wrong on our menu. Should of looked at my recipt before I left. When I did look at it couple days later WOW! I went. back to the place asked why I was charged so much when as I pointed to the menu and showed them the price they had for what I ordered. They said that those prices aren't reflective of our new prices now and they haven't gotten around to changing the prices on their menu yet. They could of mentioned that as I was looking at menu.They are right next door to a print shop. Could of easily had menus with the accurate prices. Its not the money so much as it is deceptive practices. I try to support my local businesses when I can afford to,but they didn't even try and make it right, not even a sorry. So check your recipts before you go.or each time you order ask them now is this the correct price.? Best corned beef this side on Manhattan. Sliced to order in front of you. This place opened right about the time we moved to the area and we have loved it. There are 4-5 options all around for sandwiches, etc but this place has them all beat. It has a nice fast paced feel to it but not rushed. These guys do it right. read more

They are obviously proud of their corned beef and for good reason. A great corned beef sandwich is hard to come by - especially in little old Highland Township. I would say the corned beef sandwich is indeed very good. The first time I came in around 3pm and the corned beef was a bit dry, but the sandwich was still better than anything else around here. The next time I hit the shop at lunch hour and the sandwich was really good. If you appreciate a real honest to goodness deli then give Shwartz's Deli a try. I think you will like it. read more
