I ordered a Chicken Cheesesteak Stromboli & Two Slices of Pizza and the delivery was unbelievably fast. Realized that the food came fast because the Stromboli was not cooked thoroughly. The dough was extremely moist so I attempted to heat the Stromboli in the oven to finish cooking. After the top was finally browning we decided to cut it & realized that the chicken was also not cooked through. I called to inform the Employees who stated that he never had that problem before and did not attempt to apologize, resolve the complaint or have the Stromboli returned for inspection. Started ordering here when I moved to Claymont. Pizza matched the kind I loved from the area I grew up in so it was time to try the other menu items. Steak sandwiches juicy and packed with meat! Hoagies overstuffed and the meats are balled and fluffed to bring out the flavor. Buy a large to feed several people or make several meals for one. Ordering from this place to have it delivered was unacceptable. The way they have their online menu set up is misleading. When I placed my order online, I swear I put in to have a $3 tip to be charged to my credit card. It wasn't charged so we had to give them a tip in cash. Also, it didn't say I would be charged a $1 order online fee. As for the menu, it says burgers come with fries. It's a shame that this place has pretty decent food, because every employee there is an asshole. First, let me make you aware that it literally takes me less than 2 minutes to drive to their location. I made the mistake of getting delivery one night when I was stuck at home. It took them 45 minutes to arrive, and when they finally did, half of my order was missing. The delivery guy tells me he'll run back over and get it. Naturally, since they are across the street, I figured it would be maybe 5-10 minutes tops. So I waited for them to come back before eating. It took 40 minutes for him to get back. My food was completely cold by that point. While I was waiting, I called them 20 minutes after he told me he'd "be right back," to see if they knew his location. Whoever answered the phone was short and rude with me when all I asked was if they knew where he was, so I asked for a manager. The manager gets on the phone and is shockingly even worse than her. He flat out said he "doesn't understand what our problem is" and that they had him finish the rest of his route before going back for the rest of my food and bring it to me (which, again, should only have taken about 5 minutes). Then he says what do you expect us to do? Upon asking if there was anything they could offer us, such as a refund for letting my food get cold, he blatantly ignored it and repeatedly talked over me saying "is there anything else I can help you with? Is there anything else?" To which I replied that I was a repeat customer, but they can forget about ever getting my business again because of how disrespectful and inconsiderate they are. So if you're in the mood to get treated like scum, talked down to, scoffed at and don't mind pick-up rather than delivery, then this is the place for you! Otherwise, don't give these people your business. Call me crazy, but I'd say to treat repeat customers who always tip generously (regardless of the arrival time) like dirt is the most objectionable thing a non-chain restaurant can do. Just because they can cook, doesn't mean they deserve customers. So think twice, and while you're at it, check your food for saliva before diving in. read more

Good, fresh, thin crust pizza that is crispy on the bottom and not overworked and chewy. I always get their pizza because it's just so damn good, but last week, I ordered a cheese steak. I'm picky about a cheese steak, and to my surprise, they got this right, too! Generous amount of both meat and gooey, melty cheese. The roll made it (Sarcone's?). Just a big ol' cheese steak the way they were meant to be made. The only thing missing was some long, Italian hots, then it would have been perfection! They have a HUGE menu so there's bound to be something for every taste. For me, there's no reason to order anything other than the pizza or steaks, because they are on the money, but if you do want something different, they have it. read more

Really good white and red square pizza. Their Sicilian pie is probably the only authentic Sicilian-style pizza I've actually come across -- loads of thick, chunky tomato sauce in a deep crust with a conservative sprinkling of parmesan (no mozzarella). If they would just cut back on the black pepper in the sauce I'd give them five stars. Nonetheless, they get four from me simply for offering something that I can't seem to find anywhere else. read more

Had pizza and a salad- both were winners! The pizza was thin crust style, with sauce that was flavorful and perfectly-melted cheese. I know pizza love is in the the eye of the beholder, but I would consider their pizza pretty close to perfection. I like the pizza here. Stands out nicely amongst the vast array of "hole-in-the-wall" pizzerias in the area. Nothing too gourmet BUT Sciarrino's gets the dough consistency right which in my opinion is very much the key to a great pie! Slices are usually cut big and have that great thin crunchy crust layer underneath when they come out of the oven. With a slight crimp of the crust most slice can support themselves without flopping over. However, too many toppings can take their toll on those fine boardwalk-style features so beware (natural oils and moisture's of toppings can make pizza soggy!) Just an average take-out/delivery joint with a few booths and really good PIZZA! read more

Just ate a medium Tomato Pie that was absolutely delicious!!! The sauce is made from plum tomatoes and was awesome!!! I'm definitely coming back with the kids and wife to taste whatever they have to offer. Pizza was very fresh and was done in 10 minutes. Best pizza in Claymont by far. We recently ordered delivery and unfortunately, didn't have a good experience. We ordered the margherita pizza and the holiday white. The pizzas arrived and they were soggy. Not just a tad soggy but pretty much inedible. We ended up toasting them in the oven which helped, but we won't be ordering from there again. read more

I went into this restaurant today to buy a bottle of water. While he was ringing me up I quickly grabbed a menu and asked him if they deliver to Blah,blah,blah,blah, he answers very polite yes. Then he asked me if this was my first time here , I answered yes. He says hold on and says I'm going to give you a free slice... ( Mind Blown!!!). People are really nice when I call to order and always bring my food out when I have my 3 month old with me. But tonight, I found a wire Bristle in my chicken gyro and luckily caught it before I swallowed it. This definitely could have gone another direction if I had swallowed it. This pizza place was recommended by a friend. So far this is the best pizza place that delivers in my area. They deliver their full menu which extends far beyond pizza and the dinners are delicious. My baked ziti dinner I ordered for delivery was quite large, piping hot and included a fresh side salad and delicious garlic bread. My boyfriend got the chicken cutlet and it was a large freshly breaded cutlet with mashed potatoes and broccoli...all delicious and cooked perfectly.The prices are reasonable and the people answering the phones and delivering the food are very polite. We have gotten food here many times. After tonight I will probably not eat from there again. First of all, the pizza was not cut. I could have lived with that. The issue I had was that the pizza had a "fishy" taste to it. When my son called to speak to them about it he was told that it must be the lemon they use in the white sauce!!! Really?! He stated that the employee he spoke with had a "smug" attitude....no apology or concern was made for our dissatisfaction. So we were stuck with a LOUSY pizza that we will now throw away. Its pretty hard to screw up a pizza. This pizza is the driest overcooked food I've ever had! Ordered 2 small pizzas and literally had a pinch of cheese on each pie. So dry on the bottom. Sauce is ok. Understand businesses have to make a profit but "where's the cheese?" 45 minutes to get delivery. Again I haven't ordered from a pizza shop where they were ever not late.
