ScottCakes in PTown - Down the steps for THE BEST CUPCAKE EVER!!!
    Jim K.

They have one item & 1 item only, in 2 sizes - a yellow cake cupcake with pink buttercream icing. Yet this place is a must go-to. The BEST Cupcakes I've ever had and completely consistent every time I've ever gone there. They're open until Midnight for your late night snacking needs & they're DELICIOUS!!! Can't say enough about how good these little pink iced treats are but you NEED TO GO & EAT THESE!!!

These are the BEST cupcakes we have ever had! Don't walk, RUN to this place! You will be glad you did. There is one type of cupcake available but it comes in a mini or regular size. Let it be known that if there is one choice, it must be damn tasty. It was! Since we had just finished lunch so we got the minis; but I wish we would have taken some to go. The service was great! I didn't ask but hope they can ship these to Austin for me! PS: they had a gluten free option too!

they only make one kind of cupcake but it's literally so good. Practically inhaled the first one and walked back to buy a mini. So good and so pretty looking.

The rumors are true, Scott Cakes are genuinely good! Great service, and you don't need to ponder what to get - they only have one kind of cupcakes (aka Scott cakes) which come in 2 sizes, regular size and mini. The cake part is moist and the frosting part is soft and semi fluffy. These are just sweet enough and for me eating 1 was just enough.

Scott cakes was a lovely dessert in ptown. They serve pink cupcakes and not a lot else. The thing is, that id always rather have a place do one thing really well, rather than sell a bunch of mediocre products. Definitely check them out for a sweet treat.

Really wished they had vegan cupcakes. When I searched this popped up. Unfortunately no more vegan cupcakes. My family loved the cupcakes. Although very pricey. Its good. Bring cash.

The waiter at Lobster Pot told us about this bakery where 1 guys only sells 1 item: a vanilla cupcake with pink frosting. We decided to go find it because this waiter said it was the best cupcake he's ever had. I love this place, conceptually: a small bake shop that literally specializes in 1 exceptional thing. However, execution-wise, I don't think it lives up to that concept. Don't get me wrong, the cupcake is quite delicious... but is it delicious enough to get me to come back time and time again? Probably not. Also just way too expensive for the size

We bought two minis. OMG, so good.

Delicious cupcakes - satisfying my sugar fix two days in a row while on vacation in Provincetown. My kids just couldn't get enough. The bakery only serves one color frosting - PINK. Nothing to think about, just run over and get some. Comes in a mini or standard size cupcake. There's bistro tables outside if you wish to eat them straightaway. Or the super friendly staff can box them up for you. Depending on how many you buy, they usually can box it without an issue. We grabbed paper plates and just gobbled it up in an instant at one of the bistro tables. Can't miss the bright pink storefront but know it's one level down from street level. For those who can't do stairs, there is a sloped ramp/walkway that goes down to the shop, just hang a sharp right.

I love dessert, so I was curious to try ScottCakes. We tried to visit one day this last summer, but we came at the wrong time and they were closed. Made it back another day on our Ptown vacation and finally got a few. The cakes are a bit on the pricey side, but this is Cape Cod in the summer and most items will be costly. The cupcakes themselves were fairly average, I'd give them a 7.5 out of 10. There was nothing that really wowed me, especially for the cost. The cake portion didn't wow me and the frosting was just OK. I expected them to knock my socks off. Were they bad? No. It would be nice to see more cupcake flavors available too.

Amazing cupcake! Worth the stop and no decision necessary outside of how many to order!

If you go to ScottCakes, you will have the best cupcake of your life. He only makes one kind, and the reason for this is that he knows best. He has truly perfected his craft down in Provincetown, and it shows. These cupcakes are the perfect after-lunch snack to munch on as you walk up and down Provincetown's Main Street. 1000% worth the price (large cupcakes are $4). Usually, Scott himself is there, working the register and warmly greeting people who walk in. Lots of related merch and decor inside to check out, but overall a pretty small shop. Highly recommend!

They have fantastic gluten free cupcakes and I get one every time I come to Provincetown. They also have buttercream icing shots.

The deli counter was closed by then but they had a turkey club in the refrigerator. I was hesitant since it was not fresh, but it was delicious. I also picked up bagel and a muffin. After I ate the muffin, I wished I had bought more. The market has a nice selection of wines as well as upscale food and treats. It also has a seating area inside. Parking is along the side which was a little tight, but still convenient. It's the kind of market you might find in a big city, with it's staff and selection of goods. I spent over a week in Cape Cod and the food here and another deli in Provincetown were the best food I had on the Cape, including some fine dining places. Definitely worth your time to stop by.

I felt like the clerk was not listening to me so I double checked with her a few minutes later to make sure the sandwich would have mustard on it she abruptly told me that no it wouldn't have mustard on it because she didn't have mustard put on it- I asked if it could be done? She was incredibly rude, She went back to the kitchen and asked them to put mustard on it a long while later I received the sandwich in a hot tinfoil wrap. I asked her why the sandwich was hot and she told me that all sandwiches in the shop are toasted unless I asked for it not to be toasted. For context my friend got an Italian and it was correct and NOT toasted.... And again, she was incredibly rude. She eventually offered to redo the sandwich which I was hesitant to agree to, but I did. Another long while later she came back out, basically threw the sandwich at me -still in the tinfoil -when I open the sandwich, I found a Canadian bacon egg sandwich on a hamburger roll with mustard! The bun was wet. I'm not sure what the hell is going on at this place but she and the other person working there were incredibly rude, short and to be honest, completely obnoxious about our whole experience I ended up walking out, told them the sandwiches wrong again and they had no response. I will never go back there, and I will tell everyone about my experience there. I will say the iced coffee was good, but not worth returning for considering all the rest of the stuff that happened.

If you're in Provincetown, don't make the mistake of leaving without stopping at Relish…read more Yes, the sandwiches are excellent and the bakery is full of tempting treats, but the real surprise is the cupcakes. They are, quite simply, the best I've ever had. What makes them so special? They're not trying to reinvent the cupcake. They are honoring what the cupcake is -- they're simple, rich, and taste like the very best version of what a cupcake should be. Usually it's chocolate or vanilla cake paired with vanilla buttercream or a wonderfully fudgy chocolate buttercream. No exotic ingredients. No gimmicks. Just the magic that happens when classic flavors are made exceptionally well. No surprises. Just delicious. I've had cupcakes from plenty of other places that have built their reputations around them. Relish surpasses them all. That's not hometown enthusiasm talking nor is it a tourists "happy place" pink cloud fever dream. It's just the truth. One tip for fellow cupcake lovers: if you arrive hoping for a particular flavor combination and they're sold out, don't be disappointed. Instead, order ahead. Whether it's four, six, or a dozen of your favorite, just ask. They'll do their best to make your cupcake dreams come true, and you'll avoid the heartbreak of seeing the last chocolate-frosted one disappear before your eyes. If cupcakes had a Hall of Fame, Relish would be in it. Go for lunch, but save room for dessert. You'll be talking about those cupcakes long after you've left Provincetown.
