I was in need to service and repair 3 of my backpack blowers. Unfortunately, a young male attempted to question me on these blowers even after I pointed out what I wanted repaired. Another customer walked in and it appeared they knew each other so he decided to help that person without even excusing himself from me. Another gentleman came up and was worse and more rude than the first. There is NO customer service in the store and it clearly have a little or no work ethic. I absolutely will NOT be using this company and it is worth the drive to another place that is wanting my business to do some work on my blowers. So be prepared not to expect any customer service from the sales guys. I would have given a zero star but it was not offered. read more

So if you're "Scotty" - you knew this review was coming. I brought my Toro mower in for what I believe will be a warranty repair. I should have known it wasn't going to go well when I walked in and the Millennial sitting behind the desk could barely look up from his computer to acknowledge me. I explained what had happened with my mower. Our professional service person pulled the dipstick and noted there was "aluminum" in the oil. Then he went on to note how the air filter had dirt in it. And based upon these two observations, he determined my issue was not a warranty repair. As we debated how he reached that conclusion, he reminded me I had not purchased the mower from Scotty's, and then told me how they don't even like servicing Toro equipment. He said he wasn't going to waste an hour of his time tearing into the machine just to submit a warranty claim he knew would be denied. And this is how I was treated after telling them I would be driving 2-1/2 hours one way (they were the closest Toro service center) to bring the mower in to them. I may have made a mistake buying a Toro....but I'll never make the mistake of buying anything from Scotty's Lawnmower. read more

I picked up a used Mclane 17", seven-blade reel mower on Craigslist. The mower had a Scotty's Lawnmower sticker on it. After using the mower for a few times, I brought it in for a tune and blade sharpening after overseeding. I dropped off the mower and they gave me a claim ticket, gave me a ballpark estimate and said they would call if over. If not, they would text me when the mower was done. I received the text and picked up the machine. Tim had serviced my mower and he reviewed with me in detail what was done and why. Mower was cleaned up and looked great. Tim informed me of concerns that could be down the road with my particular Maclane. Tim was professional and friendly. Shop was clean and welcoming. The service came in well below estimate and the mower is performing very well. I will go back and would recommend. read more

Needed to get a fuel line hose replaced on my weed eater. They said to stop by and drop it off & since they were backed up about a week. When I got there I explained to Tim what was wrong. He said he would look at it and then fixed it right away. He also replaced the filter that was missing. I was in and out in 30 minutes. They did a great job at a great price.
