We were looking for a brunch place that could accommodate 7 of us on Easter. When I messaged them on Yelp, they said of course! They had a table ready for us and a large selection of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. I of course ordered the Eggs Benedict with fruit since why mess with perfection. The whole family enjoyed their choices and we had great service.

We enjoyed our first visit to Scrambled Eggs Cafe. We weren't the biggest fan of their Cafe De Olla, but the food was good and reasonably priced. We ordered the California Omelette and Machaca Plate as well as the Tres Leches Pancakes to share. Our entrees were decent, but needed a bit of help from their homemade habanero sauce. It's spicy and packled with flavor! Definitely worth the burn. The Tres Leches Pancakes were by far the best thing we ordered. They were perfectly sweet and refreshing. The food and customer service aren't good enough to rate Scrambled Eggs Cafe 5 stars but, overall we enjoyed our meal and will be back for more!

I asked our server Marlene for suggestions. I said I definitely wanted Mexican food. She recommended the chilaquiles. Normally I won't order because everyone makes them differently. She explained they use the chile commonly used in Mexico City, I gave it a try. I got rice and beans instead of potatoes. Chilaquiles were delicious. Eggs over easy cooked perfectly. The creaminess of the egg with the flavor of the salsa was a perfect union. I didn't love the raw onions but it complimented the chips. The rice and beans were abuela approved. Beans were flavorful. Rice was perfectly cooked and very comforting homemade taste. Marlene was super sweet and attentive even though she was the only one working. The restaurant is very cute. I loved all the cow decor. There's a few booths, inside tables and outdoor seating.

Went here to have a nice Sunday Morning breakfast and it was good. The server girl was polite and such. The only critique I'd say is ditch the plastic drink cups with glassware Restrooms are clean

It is lovely to have a breakfast/brunch place open from 7 AM- 2 PM. There are not a lot of these eateries with this kind of timing, especially if you got up early. However, one of these places is a less known, hardly advertised restaurant, called Scrambled Eggs Cafe, in Simi Valley. Walking in around noon, there were only two other tables that were occupied. The cozy, uniquely decorated place was quiet and one gets the brain thought, unsolicited of course, did I come to the right place? I had done some homework and pretty much knew what I was going to order. Still, I was inquisitive and eager to peruse the extensive menu and, as expected, ended up still choosing my favorite class of breakfast selection. Needless to say, it had to be an Eggs Benedict concoction. They had more than one choice in this category and I decided to go for the California Eggs Benedict, with bacon, tomato, and instead of the avocado, I asked for the sautéed spinach. Just had the urge, to try a new twist to this combination. They fully obliged. For the side, I chose potatoes, requesting the best of both worlds. Half of the house potatoes and half of the hash browns. They politely consented. When the breakfast dish came to my table, it was simple, but had griddle aroma and one could observe and smell the freshness. I first went for the potatoes. Both of them blew me away. The house potatoes were fresh, nicely browned, not overdone, a light crisp on the outside, perfect texture, amazing taste. You could actually absorb the rich starch of the potatoes. Hashbrowns were the same, very nicely prepared. Needless to say, the poached eggs were perfect. It is not often that you come to a place where every Item on a multi component dish, is superb. On top of that, the service was high class. Thank you, Augustine. He kept checking on me constantly, to make sure I was OK. Wow. What a memorable and unforgettable experience, at Scrambled Eggs Cafe.

My wife called it in as a phone pick up, I chose the BBQ chicken wrap, and she picked the Tipsy toast. They said it would be ready in 15 and they sure kept that promise, great looking place indoors, clean and great staff. The wrap has a ton of flavor and drenched in their sauce which makes every bite so delicious. My wife liked her dish as well Good food and good service!

Took 25 minutes to get the food. When they brought out our food, the order was incorrect. My kids fruit cup was sticky and dirty-- had avocado remnants in it. My plate was dirty with strawberry juice but didnt order strawberries. The hollandaise was grainy and raw tasting like flour. We had to ask 3 times for silverware before receiving it. The restaurant had several servers and was not all the way full during our visit. The table was incredibly sticky.

Pretty much every time which is what pushed me to actually write a review. The food/coffee is way overpriced for what you get as well. When I went recently, they added the up charge to add cold foam and didn't even ask if I wanted it when I went in person. BUT, upon checking the online ordering on their website, it is so much more clear that that was an optional add-on. Kind of felt like they were just upcharging me to upcharge idk... Ambiance was good. Quiet, clean and the plants all around are a great touch. Don't get me wrong, the coffee and food are great, especially the speciality drink. Just be ready to pay over $10 for a drink on the summer specials. Not worth it at all.

It's my opinion that it really is hard to find a local bakery offering sweet and savory pastries freshly made with a very personal touch, they are far and few these days. Sunday brunch is always a good thing here. We've never sat inside as we tend to always have the little pup with us. They do have a decent size patio out back. Covered umbrella helps with the heat. Today it was a slight wait for a table as the place was pretty busy. Didn't take long as there was a group that was getting ready to leave. Give or take 10 minutes or so. Staff are all very friendly and sweet. Slight wait to order as well but was fine. Started off with a bottle of the bubbly and orange juice for mimosas. Price wise is great if you have a group and it's with a full glass of juice. For the meal, a mixture of everything with our group. The chicken fried steak is a favorite of mine which i tend to alway get. Nice portion with gravy and served with eggs and whatever style of potatoes. Also either toast or biscuit and gravy's. The lox platter which comes with a good amount of salmon and all the trimmings. And whatever bagel you like. The veggie omelette was great as well and served with potatoes and toast. Lastly the French toast meal with added bacon. Of course if there's tater tots, that's alway a must. The food is alway consistent and good. Simple comfort breakfast dishes that's is always a good idea. A side of sausage and pancakes was had. It was a slight wait for food which understandable as it could have been during the rush hour. Not sure how many chefs are on board. Anyways, food has alway been great. Service was great with friendly staff. It's pet friendly on the patio which is nice. This La La Land cafe location, though, is the worst one of them all. The customer service and experience is always terrible and horribly long. It's NOT that other locations aren't popular like this one, it's that the baristas here use this as their hour to chat like it's group therapy. It has always been, on multiple occasions now, a shock to witness the way the workers are completely oblivious to the customers and lack any consideration, especially on speed. Today was the breaking point for me as I gave them the benefit of the doubt, as maybe the first time was just a one-timer experience. Unfortunately, it was not. Today, my boyfriend and I came by and ordered drinks and a piece of hazelnut toast. The line wasn't too bad while waiting, but what took a long time were the drinks and worse, the food. We watched as the girls making the drinks were chatting away, one with dark brownish black curly big hair with blond streaks and glasses, talking to her other coworker. It was really frustrating as they were holding onto drinks while they were finishing stories before calling out the names for them. I eventually had to ask that exact girl if she could check on my toast, as it had been around 10 minutes. She said she'd go check, and that was great....up until she saw someone she went to college with after walking 6 feet towards the back and then got into everything that was new in her life with her. After another 5 minutes, I had to ask the black girl with a bandana that she was working with to go check on my toast; as she was now doing multiple drinks at once since the other worker decided to take a 15 minute break apparently with no notice or communication to anyone. She went to the back and came back out with my hazelnut toast that I ordered a couple minutes later, and I thanked her. I also said a quick sorry to her since I had asked that girl with the two-toned hair already and knew that this girl was busy, but she nodded and said it's totally fine. Realistically, this puts the customers in an awkward position because although she might be okay with taking on another coworkers work and job, the customers aren't always thrilled to ask multiple workers where their food is when they shouldn't have to in the first place. You know it's bad, too, when the older gentleman next to me looked at me and stated how "nice" it was that I had to ask for them to check on my food for a second time, as he had also noticed that she completely disregarded her job, too. He said he'd go ballistic if he was the manager. "Me too," I said to him. Like stated earlier, though, this isn't the first bad experience here. Coming here previously consisted of the girls also talking so much to each other that they got the drinks WRONG! One of the girl baristas mentioned that the drink was made wrong as they were putting it out on the table to grab. To make up for it, they opened the lid and squeezed a half cup of chocolate sauce on top of the iced Camp Rock matcha latte I'd ordered. With La La Land, I enjoy their matcha and their food, but with these consistent terrible experiences, it has solidified my service at Makenna Coffee right across the street. All of these issues could be avoided if the workers paid attention and did their jobs. Literally. If everyone acted like this was their job and they had to get the drinks out in under 2 minutes like Coffee Bean does, it wouldn't be such an awful experience. But because there is no sense of urgency at all with any of the workers, and the lack of attention leads them to messing up the orders, then this location really isn't deserving of any business.
