The local Edelweiss tourist ship was making its way through the river across from Screaming Tuna as we dined so the bridge went up.

Incredible culinary and sensory overload as we watched Milwaukee's river front skyline change as the sun set. The colors deepened on the water the cloaked the skyscrapers in darkness as the city light came on, all the while enjoying fabulous fresh sushi and excellent alcoholic beverages. Thank you for the memories! 5 stars.

Interior so cute, love the scenery of the buildings, sunset, and river. Service was great, waiter was very friendly and nice. We got the crispy tuna appetizer that seemed the most recommended. I enjoyed it. Then we got the queen of hearts and Spider-Man roll. Something was off about the Spider-Man, as the soft shell crab seemed burnt lowkey. Not very much crab at all..... that kinda threw off the whole Roll for me. Queen of hearts was pretty good, bigger and had more flavor. Very nice spot but wouldn't rank their sushi the best.

After a show at the Marcus Center we were feeling like a little late, light dinner would hit the spot. Sushi calls, Screaming Tuna to the rescue! Friday night after Thanksgiving is apparently the time to visit without a reservation. We stopped by and were seated immediately it was very quiet and frankly, lovely! We ordered drinks, chipotle won tons for an appetizer and each order a specially roll. Service was quick and efficient. We had a great window view of the city, and left feeling full and happy. Always a great visit here!

August 2025: I went to Screaming Tuna on a Monday evening in August with two other girls. We were seated outside right away with no reservation and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The view from our table was a beautiful cityscape on the water! We first ordered drinks, which we enjoyed. I had the Flirt Juice- it was refreshing and perfect for a summer night! Fruity and flavorful. For an appetizer, we shared the fresh veggie spring rolls. The spring rolls were good but we didn't care for the sauce they were served with. I typically like the sauce a little sweeter. I also ordered the seaweed salad, that was good. For dinner, we each ordered two rolls. I ordered the Rising Sun roll and the Shrimp Tempura. I thought both of my rolls were okay- somewhat bland and fishy tasting. My two friends also said their rolls were fishy and they didn't finish theirs. Our bill for the three of us came out to $160 before tip. Overall, great service and a beautiful summer night view, but not-so-great sushi and an expensive bill for what we ordered (my opinion).

I love this place, I've been many times. The food is amazing and all of the staff is so sweet If you get sat by the big windows you have actually won because it's beautiful Me and my boyfriend recently went for Valentine's day and we had an amazing time

I really enjoyed visiting screaming tuna for my birthday this year. I started by ordering a lychee martini-- very good. The sushi rolls were a consistent size, rolled correctly, and the ratios were very balanced. The sashimi was decent--not the best I've had, but pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers we ordered. We ordered the tuna crispy rice, the crab chipotle wontons, the beef spring rolls, and the gyoza. All very tasty. The miso soup was nice as well. I will say, I was offered two mochi for my birthday-- the green tea flavor was nice. The red bean flavor was crumbly and inedible. I actually spit it out. That being said, I'd be glad to come back for sushi and apps. Pretty solid.

For Midwest sushi the food was good it just wasn't a memorable meal like we were hoping. I did enjoy that there were a handful of rolls with different fruits and the size of the sushi was perfect where you could actually eat it in one bite without it being too much. Our waitress was nice and the restaurant was easy to locate. If you're looking like a sushi fix like we were this place will scratch that itch I'm just not confident we would go back.

A beautiful restaurant in the Third Ward! We decided to go for dinner on a gorgeous summer evening. We were sat outside overlooking the river. Our waitress greeted us promptly, and placed our Crab Rangoon starter order. We enjoyed the real crab inside & crispy outer shell. We shared several rolls & nigiri & were pleased with the flavor & quality. Would definitely recommend!

Screaming Tuna is a cute sushi spot! It was a little too cold to sit out but the indoor seating was still nice with the river view. We got two apps and a few rolls. The crispy spicy tuna was not as good as some other sushi spots, but the rolls were all pretty good. Service was excellent, she checked in a good amount of times and was attentive.

gorgeous view on a beautiful day to sit out on the patio facing the water!!!!! service was a bit on the slower side however. ranking of food: 1. matcha tres leche cake: so. good. and light and airy. obsessed 2. miso braised short ribs: short ribs very good, surprisingly enjoyed the japanese sweet potato even though i'm anti sweet potato. vegetables could've used a bit of a sauce drizzle from the short ribs and that would've perfected the dish. short ribs were really tender 3. crab chipotle wontons: wish this was crispier but the plum sauce and chipotle pepper complimented it well. still good 4. firecracker roll: feel like this could've impressed me more but it didn't 5. garlic roll: didn't even taste the garlic tbh big disappointment overall wasn't really impressed by the sushi rolls and have definitely had better elsewhere. but the view was gorgeous and i loved all the dessert options

This place was a lot of fun. It is right next to the water so the views are pretty cool from any spot within the restaurant. We got there right before the dinner rush on a Saturday evening and we're able to sit at the bar where we met Lizzie who was an amazing bartender. I had their alchemist sour which was a whiskey based drink, and my girlfriend had the pine after the hunt which was a tequila based drink. We got the edamame to start with the chili garlic on it and it had good flavor and a nice kick to it. Then we ordered the sushi for two. Our favorite nigiri's were the salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. The rolls were also really tasty as well. Excited to come back during the summer when the patio is open.

Went to Screaming Tuna on a Friday night, there was good seating options even for a last minute call at 8:00pm. Food and drinks were good- would definitely recommend trying new things but they make a great classic roll as well. Service was the best part, very friendly staff and bright personalities that make your experience lively and welcoming. Servers and hostess included! Would definitely recommend trying on a night out.

Absolutely delicious sushi and drinks! It was a busy Friday night, but our server made sure we were taken care of in a timely manner. It was beautiful to look out and see the lake! Beautiful interior - I will definitely try it in the summer to sit out on the patio. Parking is tough, so use a ride share or carpool if you can!

Especially good were the shrimp spring rolls. In fact they were so substantial two people chose them for their main plate. We all happily ate more food than we should have, yet when the bill came we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. In part that was because we were there during happy hour, which gave generous discounts on drinks and starters. Our group was taken care of by Nasr, a genial and competent server.

She also talked intelligently about the noodles that are made "in house" and what entries fit best with which noodles. We started with hot White tea and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The White Tea was very good, especially on this cold afternoon. (5 stars). The shrimp tempura was just okay. The breading was a bit oily and did not adhere to the shrimp. (2 1/2 Stars). I ordered the seafood Ramen and loved the flavor and the freshness of the ingredients. The Scallops were extremely good, great taste, and cooked just right. (5 Stars). My son ordered the Curry Ramen and thought it was good, but he felt that the jalapeno was a bit overpowering. (4 Stars). The noodles were very very good. Great ambiance, excellent service and a good variety menu. I'll be back for sure.

We ordered the gyoza, miso soup, calamari, short rib, crab fried rice, room service pad Thai and a few hand rolls. My wife and I also had the Phuket #3 cocktail. First off, service was friendly and amazingly fast. Drinks came out literally a minute after we ordered. The food started coming out shortly after. The gyoza was pan fried and came out upside down with a giant pancake connecting them. Cute presentation and solid gyoza. The next was the calamari. This was probably our favorite dish overall. Huge portion for an appetizer. The calamari was lightly breaded with togarishi and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Amazingly tender. I got the the scallop, 50/50 and salmon handrolls. My wife doesn't like raw fish and even she thought the handrolls were good. The scallop was awesome. Super sweet with a dash of chili oil. The short rib was our second favorite. Super tender and had deep, rich flavors. Shredding the beef and pouring some of the broth over white rice made a perfect bite. The seafood fried rice was also spectacular. Huge chunks of calamari, shrimp, crab. The pad Thai was only ok. It was too peanutty for me, but my wife and kids also were generally meh about it too. The Phuket #3 was also great. I ordered it first and my wife liked it so much (after drinking most of mine) ordered another. We recently went to a Michelin starred Thai restaurant in SF and while we also really liked it, we all liked Room Service even more. And for about half the price. We'll definitely be back.

We have been to a lot of markets: Cleveland, Detroit, Charleston, Cincinnati, we lived a few blocks away from Reading in Philly for two years. But best market in the US? That's a different league. Ironically it is literally the smallest market of them all. It's almost comforting because there aren't that many things to choose from. But, disappointing at the same time. There was a lovely souvenir spot. Very small but it has some cute shit. I got a shirt. GF got a sweatshirt. We then got coffee. There was a long line. That felt like a good sign. I got the nutty pedestrian which was good. GF got a frosty something. As a whore for anything mint flavored, I was expecting this to knock it out of the park but it wasn't as minty or as sweet as I would have preferred. Next, we went for the candy place and bakery. I was disappointed to not see one Kringle in this place. Oh well. The gigantic cookies would have to suffice. We got regular chocolate chip, oatmeal chocolate chip, and a Wisconsin something or other. The Wisconsin something or other had like walnuts, craisins, and chocolate chips. Delicious. The standard chocolate chip was fantastic as well. The candy was really good too. Finally, we topped everything off with empanadas which were spectacular. I reviewed that separately. Surprisingly small but a lot of value squeezed into the square footage.
