I think I should start with the positives here and say that the service was pretty darn great! I was not expecting to see a host outside the restaurant to see me inside but he was very friendly, as well as the cashier taking my order at the front desk. I unfortunately had to sit outside since it was packed inside, but I was checked up on multiple times to make sure everything was going well. Nothing against the employees but I've always had a slight issue with having to pay for my food (along with the tip) before I actually dine. I'd like to be able to tip better if I had great service. Service: 5/5 The ambiance inside was pretty cool. It was all very much LGBTQ+ welcoming as well. My only issue is that they don't have anything at all in the outside dining area. I sat next to a boring wooden fence with a view of some of the parking lot. Ambiance: 2.5/5 The worst part of the visit by far was the food. Both my girlfriend and I agreed that the taste was just not there. I thought my burger was a little subpar and my fries were supposed to be "crispy ranch dusted fries." Idk if you can tell from the picture, but they lied to me about both of those. Not crispy and there's no ranch dust (whatever that means). I was one of those people who had their airline flight cancelled due to the massive outage. Thankfully, Se7en Bites saved the day and significantly brightened my mood!! My friend took me here years ago and ever since then, I always try to come whenever I'm in town. I ordered the signature chicken biscuit and the combo of biscuit, crispy chicken, and sweet jam was perfect! Definitely a fork and knife type meal with the jam oozing out in each bite. Went on Sunday with friends who live in the area. We waited on a line outside for around 20 min (we were told this is typical for the weekends). Once inside, we were told to order at the counter and find a table. Our friends each got a 7th Trimester biscuit sandwich, my partner got the Farmers Breakfast Sandwich, and I got the Chicken Pot Pie. We got a side biscuit and cinnamon roll to share with the table. Myself and my partner paid separately from our friends, but we were all given a table number to share. The ambiance was homie and it was pretty easy to find a table. Upon seating, we were quickly greeted with waters and the cinnamon roll, which was delicious. About 10 min later, the 2 7th Trimesters came out (also delicious). Our friends tried to wait for us to begin eating, but it was at least another 10-15 min before our food arrived which we thought was weird considering we had all ordered at the same time. I was so excited for the chicken pot pie as it is their top rated item and they sell our every day. It was maybe 5 inches across, teeny tiny for a chicken pot pie. While it was tasty, I was sure glad we had ordered the sides for the table because I almost left hungry. It was $48 for the pot pie, breakfast sandwich, biscuit, and standard tip, which was pricy for what we received. As we were eating, servers came by multiple times to refill waters, which was nice, but as we were finishing, also came by multiple times to try to take our un-finished meals from us. I understand this is a busy place that draws a crowd, but I definitely don't want to feel rushed through my meal. There is a line outside to be seated but they work really fast and also very nice of them to have water for those waiting in line. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We had a very concerning experience at Seen Bites. During our visit, my friend bit into a piece of plastic that was inside the food, which hurt her mouth. We immediately informed the staff, but the response was very rude and there was no apology at all. When we asked to speak with the manager, we were told that the manager did not want to talk to us, and we were asked to leave the restaurant immediately. They only refunded the dish that contained the plastic, even though all of the food was prepared in the same kitchen and we shared our concern. After the incident we stopped eating immediately and had barely touched the rest of the dishes, but they did not accept to refund the rest of the meal. This was honestly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. read more

The atmosphere was fun, a bit noisy but it was fine. Keep in mind they close at 3 pm so this is a great spot to kick you day off. The Drunk Hot Chicks might have been a temporary menu item but it was lovely and be around all year if it isnt. I have been here twice now and just writing this review is making my mouth water! This is an order at the counter, grab a seat and they bring your order out kind of place. It does get busy, but they are super organized and make it a stress free experience. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the restaurant has a lovely cozy and eclectic vibe. The Signature Chicken Biscuit is my favorite! That red pepper jelly cream cheese is perfect with the fried chicken. And add a cup of Orange Blossom Iced Tea, and you have a perfect morning. However, their whole menu sounds so tasty and maybe one day I will go back and venture out from the chicken biscuit, but it is so good that is it hard to get anything else. I found Se7en Bites listed as one of the top places for lunch in the area when leaving Elevation Church Orlando. It's in a really busy area with lots of places nearby to eat and shop. Se7en Bites has its own parking lot with plenty of parking. They stay open until 3pm, and are only open Thursday to Sunday, so it was busy. You wait outside in line until seating becomes available inside or on their outside patio. It was rather warm out and the sun was beaming, so I decided to sit on the inside. The staff outside gave us menus while we waited to go inside. I asked for his top 3 menu items and decided on one of the specials. Right after I made my decision, another staff member from inside came out and announced the menu item I decided on was out! I finally get inside, the wait wasn't too long though, and I was exited to get to Dorian to take my order. He was awesome. I finally decided on the Minnie Pearl, which was two pearl sugar waffles hugging their "almost famous" buttermilk fried chicken with a splash of HOT (not so spicy, kickin, buffalo- for all you temp-spice-level wonderers) honey & over medium egg (I asked for my egg souffléd), topped with vanilla bean butter syrup & served with a side of cheddar chive grits. I also ordered a bacon cinnamon roll and a yummy cup of their special coffee (they also sell it to brew at home). You order at the register and then seat yourself. My bacon cinnamon roll had me dancing at first bite, so yummy and fresh. My food came out and wow, I was excited. The flavor profile of the sweet waffles, with the spicy-ish chicken, with the syrup and egg...Wowsers. I loved every single bite. I mean, so good. The grits were just ok for me. I love grits, but not a big fan of the flavor of these. I decided to check the bakery part, which has a separate counter than where you order your food. Why did I do that. I literally wanted one of everything, but decided to narrow it down to the special pie of the day, Grammie's Coconut Cream Pie and a Signature Bar Cookie. The baked goods were amazing too. He had to have a chicken pot pie! My friend who lives in Orlando that is. So on our way to drop me off at the airport, lunch at Se7en Bites. The menu plus the blackboard specials were a bit overwhelming to me. I chose a simple meat loaf sammie with a schmear of mashed potatoes. Delicious and my buddy loved his pot pie. Craving accomplished! Thirst quenching sweet orange blossom iced tea delivered with a smile. I like the community feeling here and the aesthetics are fun. I have tried the Minnie Pearl and the Seventh Trimester. Both are great but very different. The Minnie pearl will satisfy a sweet tooth while the seventh trimester is more savory. Personally, I'm not a big grits fan but I will eat the grits here. The Mac and cheese is my absolute favorite though! They offer indoor and patio dining. Be careful ordering the biscuits! I've been to Se7en Bites about a dozen times, and the last two times I ordered a biscuit sandwich and the biscuit was as hard as a rock! It was hard, dry, and possibly stale. You must insist on a fresh non-stale biscuit, or you must order something else such as waffles or pancakes. last time I did send the order back and they did give me a non-stale soft biscuit. I had eaten about half of my grits and when they brought me a new fresh biscuit, they had thrown the grits away and did not replace them. so if you're sending something back, make sure you keep the other items because they will claim you ate all of it already. I had to insist on a replacement, even if it's half an order. Just ridiculous! Overall, I would still recommend them, but just be careful ordering biscuits there. read more

My family and I came to Orlando to visit some relatives and when I visit different cities, I like to experience the local fair, so we were looking for something local and different for brunch. And let me tell you that we were not disappointed! The restaurant is different in that you place your order at the cashier and then you find a table because they have open seating. I ordered the mini pearl, which was their take of chicken and waffles. The waffles were amazing. The batter was light. I could taste a bit of sugar in the batter, which was a delightful treat with each bite. My husband ordered the Colonel marmalade and his looked amazing as well, although I did not sample his food. I can't talk about this place without highlighting their bakery area because OMG the treats that they had available were beautifully made! I ordered the lavender shortbread which was light had the perfect balance of lavender and it was a nice shortbread, not overly sweet or dry. I kept looking at the chocolate and rosewater cake, but I could not bring myself to order something so delicious looking and then wanting to drive back over to the restaurant just to get another slice so I thought I would save that for my next trip. All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience although I would suggest that they turn the music down just a tad bit so we don't have to yell at one another across the table, nor would we have to continuously ask our server and the hostess to speak up because we could not hear them. A few years later and yes multiple visits since. I no longer get the hype, and I'm sorry to say it, I guess I fell for it. Orlando had a sorta of famous chef so I fell for the attraction of that but now the food is just okay. You still have to wait in line outside, and depending on when you get there, you could wait anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes to order. Then, there's another possible 20-minute wait for your food. When my dish came out incorrectly, I totally understand how busy they were, so I just mentioned it to the wait staff, and they quickly brought out the missing item. A lot of the dishes are on the heavier side, and given the name of the place, which indirectly has to do with healthy living and eating, I wish the owner would consider offering more lighter, healthier options.
