Free Thai tea if you check in!

Visited this location today and glad to see there was a lot of people. Ordered take out, and ordered their banh mi and kapoon. Their chicken banh mi was HUGE! Enough to share with two people. Our go to is always their kapoon. Both were very delicious.

Came a lil past 1, got seated right away, after a little bit they got soo busy alot of togo orders. Lwk did not expect the interior to be a bit jank(?) or like not super modern and a bit dirty lol but didnt mind too much. We ordered the beef stew w jasmin rice (18.95) , kapoon (16.95) and papaya salad (14.95). Also 4 orders of skewers (2 for 5$ happy hour). Took a bit to come out, like 20 mins ish for everything. Overall flavoring was decent, kapoon had a much milder flavor than i expected, beef stew had like a pho broth taste and pretty tender, papaya salad good flavor lots of sauce. Chicken skewers much better than beef. Service was on the low end tbh, it was two ppl in the front and i get they were kinda busy running around but we had to ask and wait for everything. Had to ask for hot water twice (never recieved), utensils and napkins, and the bill + boxes. I understand they were quite busy but it just made our experience on the lower end.

Service was good. This time I got the Thai Tea, which if you're fan of yours leaning more strong on the tea side, this would be good, but I prefer mine more creamy and sweet. I also ordered the crispy chicken wings this time, and it was good, but it made me realize how much better their angel wings are. Finally, not pictured, but their kaopieks has to be my fav dish of theirs. I LOVEEE me some kaopiek with chili oil.

Came Friday night for dinner and were surprised to be informed that the happy hour lunch deal was going through the entire day! We ordered 2 sets of the lunch beef and chicken skewer deal (2 skewers for $5), kapoon (HUGE BOWL, more than enough for 2 meals), and a Laotian style papaya salad. The papaya salad was definitely tasty but spicier than I expected it to be. It was very refreshing when paired with the skewers (very juicy texture) and the kapoon! The kapoon includes chickens and quail eggs, and you can choose the type of noodle you want for your soup, as well as add additional ingredients to the soup. I think this place is such value add! The only aspect that docked some points was the soup was a lukewarm when it arrived to the table and the Thai tea did not meet my expectations. It's a very homey restaurant though and the service is great! Overall, would recommend checking this restaurant out!

I've had a few of their dishes several times now, and even ordered a large party tray of their Nam Khao--it's the closest I've found to authentic Thai, Cambodian, and Lao flavors. I've dined in once with a friend and liked how beautifully each dish was presented; the spread looked amazing. Most of the time, though, I order takeout. They offer a great variety of dishes ranging from small appteziers like their beef skewers to Banh Mi sandwiches and main entrees. I feel like their portions sometimes come out smaller than expected and doesn't fill me up as much. Some of my favorites are the Nam Khao Fried Rice and the Spicy Popcorn Chicken Larb--both are incredibly flavorful and a must-try. I've also tried their Lao sausage (sometimes a hit or miss but still tasty), papaya salad (Lao style), lemongrass beef soup (just okay for me) kao poon (could use more flavor), and stuffed chicken wings (very flavorful). The Thai tea was decent but not my favorite. My son likes their drunken noodles and basil fried rice. They also serve smoothies and even have Gunther's ice cream, which is a nice bonus!

Check out the amount of shrimp!! I ordered a Grilled shrimp bahi mi sandwich and I truly enjoyed the flavor and the quality of shrimp. When you order shrimp, it can always be hit or miss, but this place was a hit. I do wish it had a touch more fresh veggies inside but the spicy mayo mixed with fresh jalapeño was delicious. It service was ok... one guy ordered my food and told me it would be about 15 minutes .. which is fine. There was plenty seating available. The ice cream area looked out of service. The only thing that threw me off is when I went to pick up my food....There was a bowl sitting out with what appeared to be rolled sausage inside. I don't know if it was defrosting or about to be cooked, but it was sitting out in room temperature. I also don't know how long it was sitting there... but on the bright side I didn't get sick so i would definitely eat this again!

Been on my list for a while and I finally went and tried it! A relatively small place but the food is absolutely amazing! Ordered an array of different food and each one was so delicious and flavorful. The kapoon was creamy with a little kick and spice with the perfect amount of noodles. Egg rolls and cheese wontons were not skimpy and had filling maxed out! They have all day happy hour now which includes cheap appetizers and drinks. Staff were super nice and friendly and just the sweetest! I was upset I didn't come sooner in the day to get their stuffed chicken wings but I will definitely be coming back real soon!

I always wanted to try this resturant out but because I live on the other side of town and has never felt the need to drive all the way to Elk Grove to try it. So when I was coming back into town and Elk Grove was gonna be the place we stop for dinner I chose SEA hunt. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. The resturant itself was a bit small. We order their popular dishes. We order the nam khao, papaya salad, kapoon and ka phia. That was all so good., the kapoon broth was delicious. The nam khao is the best. It's super crispy and delicious. The server was quick and very helpful we enjoy our food here.

    Going to try this out.

I've decided to try something different. I drove here that was recommended by my cousin. Upon entering, it gave a modern cafe vibe. It appeared to be only young college people but later saw middle aged customers coming in. There were QR Code menus at the tables. It was Happy Hour so I ordered the shrimp roll, chicken egg roll and wings. It was more than enough for me as I was full when I left. I also ordered the grilled pork sandwich to go but I forgot to photograph it. The service was good even though the guy running the cash register was also the waiter. Which is fine. He was really nice. It's a really nice place. It was clean and well maintained. I would return again to try the other stuff on the menu.

Absolutely delicious south east Asian food! It seems like they mostly specialize in Lao, Thai, and Cambodian flavors here. We ordered the SEA platter, nam khao, beef laab, and kapoon. The service here is top notch, i didn't catch her name but there was this dark haired asian girl who was so kind & patient with us! The kapoon was so creamy and flavorful and I loved how tender the chicken was. Nam khao is a dish I order at every Lao restaurant and they did such a great job here! They were super generous with the nam sausage pieces as well! We got the beef larb medium rare (at recommendation of our server) and it was absolutely fire! The meat was tender and it tasted so delicious with the other dishes. The SEA platter was huge and perfect to split within 4 people. The beef sticks were my favorite part of the SEA platter, they were smokey and had so much flavor! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!!

    Papaya salad served with vermicelli

This was our first time here. We flew to SAC from LA for a graduation and was looking for some comforting hmong food. This place did not disappoint! The service was great and the food was delicious. The Nam Khao was especially tasty! You can't go wrong. Give them a try!

I still love SEAHUT. We love supporting small business and the food never disappointments. It's always consistent and never fails. Great on pricing too! The ambiance is really chill and sometimes it can be quite busy so the service might take some time during rush hour or lunch hour. Please be patient with the staff but they WILL get to you.

Back at it again and this time, I remembered to take a picture lol Came in for a late lunch and yes, got the loaded fries with chicken and shrimp! Yum yum yum sooo good. We paired it up with their Mango Paradise which is a special on Mondays and only $3.00 and their Taro with Boba. Of course, had to get some crab wonton - never disappoint! Service is always pleasant. Young man, Sam was polite and attentive. The owner Mora even came by the table to check in on us which was sweet. Will need to come back when I have a bigger appetite - their Kapoon was calling my name. Hahahahaha

I ordered a Lao style papaya salad, with a hot level of spicy. It definitely had a kick. My mouth wasn't on fire but I was definitely sweating. The spice level was perfect and the salad had just the right amount of savory and salty; one of the better papaya salads that I've had in the Sac area. I also ordered kaopiek, which is my favorite type of noodles. I tend to like my kaopiek's broth a bit more thick and gooey, while this one was a bit more runny. Nevertheless, the kaopiek was really good. The broth had a really good chicken flavor; All I added was a bit of fish sauce, lime, chili oil and fried garlic. The broth was fresh and flavorful and the noodles were perfect! I am definitely choosing Laos Kitchen over other SEA spots in the area.
