    Tocino chicken sandwich
    Tammy S.

PARKING: is not convenient. There is a garage close by but you will need to pay $2 per 15 min. They do not validate. If you do not want to pay, walking from the closest free parking area will take about 10-15min. FOOD: Delicious food and good value. Everyone in my group was happy with the sandwiches they ordered. I got the Tocino chicken sandwich which came with a small serving of pasta salad. When I compared the amount of pasta salad to other plates, my serving was a little skimped. But overall for about $11 the meal was satisfying. ATMOSPHERE: most seating would be outside. For a California winter day, it was pretty windy and chilly in front of the building but there are additional tables on the side of the building that was nice and sunny. It's a peaceful and calm area. Overall, it was a great first time experience with a good meal with friends. Free parking may not be convenient, but I've accepted it as something to work for while saving a couple bucks.

Abe is awesome! Vita is awesome! Excellent service with great food options to match. Food is always fresh and it's a very convenient location. Always a pleasure eating here. Thank you!

Sorry I already taken bites of my food when I took the photo! lol

Best tasting breakfast and lunch meal we have! Everything freshly made! You can taste the freshness of the veggies in the paninis! The staff are amazingly nice! Did I mention it is so much more affordable than the food courts at the Spectrum? Just few walking steps from Spectrum and you got an even better options for food and you can eat here daily without breaking the bank!!! Must try and you will keep coming back for sure! Tocino Chicken Avocado Panini

The food is so delicious here! Vida recommended the Tocino chicken avocado sandwich. The sandwich is perfect, so tasty, warm, 10/10! Abe also let me try the sea salt + basil açaí smoothie, 10/10 also! Seriously the best smoothie. Super nice staff, close to all offices here at the Irvine spectrum! Come see them!

The two sandwiches on the right (Bagnat and chicken salad) came with a different bread that they had on the menu and it didn't match at all.

They're dishonest with ingredients and they keep your money. I ordered three sandwiches: 1- Pan Bagnat Sandwich: The description clearly says it comes with brioche. Both pictures on Doordash and their website show a nicely toasted brioche. It came with a very soft and not toasted white sliced bread (or cheap sourdough sliced). Look at the photo. And it wasn't good. 2- Napa Cranberry Chicken Salad Sandwich: In this case, the description says it comes with wheat ciabatta. The picture shows a ciabatta too. Again it came with white sliced bread (or cheap sourdough sliced) that didn't match it at all. Look at the photo. This wasn't good either. It barely had any dried cranberry or celery and it was tasteless. 3- Ham Croissant Sandwich: This was at least the same as the description and tasted okay. I also ordered 4 apples. They told the driver to tell me they're out. They never refunded me. The switcheroo on the breads was annoying for two reasons. First it didn't match the sandwich. Second, I'm diabetic, and when I saw the chicken salad comes with wheat ciabatta, I got happy cause wheat is much better for diabetic people. But I got white.

Great service and a good place for a quick bite. The folks that work in the building can order online and come down to pick it up ready to go. Good vibe , mostly locals. The paninis are great an so are the salads

    Tomato bisque

Little eatery on the lobby floor of office building across street from spectrum. Came here because it was 10:30am and it seems like many lunch places at the spectrum don't open until 11. The places I yelped that opened before 11 were not rated well so I opted for this place. Great and friendly service. My tomato bisque came out super hot and tasted great. Bf's chicken and pesto panini was delicious. Neat place

Breakfast burrito and blueberry MUFFINS - BLUEBERRY

I had the breakfast burrito and it was the best tasting burrito I've had in the area! Being from San Diego I know good breakfast burrito and this place had that, without feeling like it was drenched in cooking oil. I'll definitely be back. I also had a blueberry muffin and that was delicious! Service was 5/5 they were able to serve me minutes after 11am, great service and mellow. Not too busy at 11:30am so ambiance was chill!

come to try the new Ice drink! it is amazing! it is so good and better than Starbucks

Woah. SO glad I found this place, thank you Yelp! If you are not careful you can miss it. The Acai smoothly was ridiculously good along with the panini sandwich and overnight oats. This place stayed open all throughout Covid, for that reason alone they have my business for life. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and always happy to see you enter. 5 Stars Thanks for reading!

I would recommend the nectarine pancakes. They were absolutely delicious! We ordered three different things being a party of three and shared. I've been to Poached Kitchen in Irvine before and used to love it, but after my recent visit with…read moremy girlfriend, it's clear they've switched to a model that prioritizes turning tables over a good dining experience. We waited about 15 minutes in line, which is no big deal for a popular spot. But their new seating process is incredibly weird and unwelcoming. Instead of a host greeting you and walking you to a table, they call you up to the register to order and pay before you even get a chance to sit down or look at a menu. They basically just hand you a table number and tell you to go find it. There's zero hospitality--it feels like a transactional assembly line where they just want to herd you in and out. To be fair, the food is still decent and well-presented, but the overall quality has noticeably gone downhill compared to last year. It really feels like they are cutting corners to maximize profit. The atmosphere wasn't great either because they keep the doors wide open. A massive beetle flew in and spent the meal roaming free, eventually landing right behind my girlfriend, who is terrified of bugs. I know they can't entirely control a bug flying inside, but it just added to a stressful, chaotic environment. The worst part was how rushed we felt at the end. We weren't even fully finished eating when a staff member rushed over and took our plates away. My girlfriend actually still had a piece of her waffle left, but they grabbed it so quickly she was too shy to speak up. It's really disheartening to feel completely unwanted when you're spending your hard-earned money. Poached Kitchen used to be a lovely experience, but they really need to rethink this new model and start focusing on quality over quantity. I won't be rushing back.

All of our food came out fresh. I had the scramble and side salad. Salad was fresh and just enough dressing on it. I tried my friend's lemon ricotta hotcakes and it was sooooo good. Perfectly fluffy. Great lemon flavor and that butter they make is to die for. Don't get it if you are borderline diabetic. Get something else. Bc you'll want to eat more and more. But it's the perfect amount of sweet. It's not overpowering. I also ordered their seasonal ube matcha latte and that was delicious. Service was friendly. And one of the girls was seen scrubbing clean a toddler high chair. Most places have sticky high chairs. Seeing her wipe and scrub it down in all the creases let me know this place is well taken care of. Glad we stopped by.

The brunch was excellent and I highly recommend the chilaquiles (add the pulled pork!) and the cinnamon bun. The service and ambiance were top notch. And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

I love love love their matcha and actually get my at-home espresso beans here. They are perfectly roasted and the espresso comes out smooth. I also have had their avocado toast. It is so good but I never finish it haha because it is big. Totally worth to try. They have large tables which are perfect to host coworking sessions or just to come and work. I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.
