Went to Sean Bolan's for a work function on a Wednesday night! We had a large group (12-16 people) so we had made a reservation ahead of time for Their private room on the second floor. It definitely has a lively Irish bar ambiance, it wasn't crazy crowded, considering it's a Wednesday but I've heard it definitely gets busy on weekends. They have a large screen in the private room, they allowed us to put on what we wanted. On the first floor, the bar area is slightly small but they have more room in the back. We ordered multiple appetizers for the group, we tried lamb chops, Irish egg roll, loaded tots, old bay and Cajun wings, crab dip. The wings and lamb chops are a must try from apps. They had a steak with veggies and scallop Alfredo special on the menu. Scallops were cooked to perfection, and I thought the Alfredo would be too heavy but it was actually well balanced and easy to eat. My coworker got the steak and they said it was so soft and cooked to their liking. Most of us got all the different kinds of crushes, I got the Jamison Irish crush, which was refreshing, if you're the type of person that does not like the taste of alcohol, this is a great drink, if you want to feel like you're drinking alcohol, this is not your drink. I was able to find street parking, free after 5pm. On weekends, the near by garage would be your best bet. Overall, I'm very pleased that this placed served very good food for a bar! I definitely want to check it out on the weekend.

Last call on Father's Day didn't disappoint. Excellent Fish n Chips and a nice French Dip. Tater tots were great but had to be take home, such a big portion

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and had the Fried Green Tomatoes & the Chesapeake Old Bay wings. Top that off with a few pints and life is good.

Popped in for a quick drink with a group of 4. Our server Kelsey was so nice and attentive. A simple drink did the job might pop back in and wet my whistle and maybe enjoy the balcony upstairs. Cute little place that seems very family oriented so bring the kids!

Customer Service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Cleanliness - 4.5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 4 out of 5 Food quality - 4.5 out of 5 The last time I've visited Sean Bolan's was over 15 years ago when I was in my early 20's. This was one of our stops while bar hopping throughout Main St. Bel Air. This is the first time I've ever dined at this pub and I wasn't disappointed. Customer service was great, very friendly staff. The downstairs bar had a decent crowd, but we chose to dine upstairs where it was quiet and we were sat immediately. Pub was very clean. Floors were a bit sticky, but not too bad. Irish pub music wasn't too loud, we could easily communicate with each other. Lighting is a bit too dim for my liking and every so often the lights would flicker ever so slightly. Food portions are huge (except for the $11 bowl of Irish Stew). The Irish Stew was good, but needed just a touch more of salt. Although it was good it wasn't worth $11 for the bowl. With 23 out of 25 stars I give this place an A- rating. I will return again to try the Fish & Chips and the Irish Seafood Chowder.

Good Irish pub food. The fish and chips dish at Sean Bolan's is one of the best I've tried in the Baltimore area.

Wow, what a quaint British pub in the middle of Vienna. Parking is a little tight for this area,…read morebut you can definitely find some spots in the back on a weekday. I ended up biking and there's a bike stand really close by. My friend was craving fish and chips, so we ventured out this way. Because we came on a Thursday they had a deal going where if you ordered a pie, you could get a beer for free. Of course I had to partake, so I ordered the special pie, which was a masala, chicken, curry pie, and it was quite good. A bit small for the price point but with the beer included totally worth it also because their fries are so good. I could demolish over a pound of those fries. They were thick potato and maybe the extra added bonus of having to use a glass ketchup bottle added to it. My friend and I were also taught how to properly hit the ketchup bottle to get the ketchup out by the bartender. You find the 57 on the bottle at an angle and bump you palm there that instead of hitting the bottom and hoping and praying that ketchup comes out. It actually worked or at least it was more efficient than trying to hit the bottom of the bottle upside down. I had never had a hand pumped beer before, but it was quite good. They are a warm beer rotating and it was quite good, it especially paired well with the pie or fish and chips.

Stopped in at Sláinte for breakfast while on a work trip and had a really solid experience…read more I ordered a mimosa and the crab cake Benedict, and everything was genuinely delicious. The crab cake was flavorful and well-made, the hollandaise was rich and on point, and the grits completely surprised me in the best way. They were incredibly flavorful with what tasted like a horseradish style sauce mixed in, which added a great kick. Easily some of the best grits I've had. I also tried the Scotch eggs that my friend ordered. I normally hate sausage, but these were shockingly good crispy, well-seasoned, and not overly heavy. The mimosa was exactly what it should be simple and refreshing. Champagne and orange juice never fails. Total bill came to $35.25, which is definitely on the pricier side, but this is Baltimore and pretty much in line with what I expected for quality brunch and drinks in this area. The vibe is classic Irish pub dark wood, Irish scarves and flags, and a really cool display of fire department patches on the walls. It felt authentic and cozy without trying too hard. Overall, great food, solid drinks, and a strong brunch option if you're in Fells Point. I'd absolutely come back.
