    Golden Triangle Puff

A really nice Thai restaurant on Ridge Road in Webster. It's decorated in a classy way with gold accents. I have dined in and taken out from this location and the Brighton one, and the food is great. My go to is the garlic stir fry (almost all of their dishes come with a choice of protein) which has crispy garlic, mushrooms, a few different types of onions, and in my version, big tofu cubes in a garlic sauce. It comes with white rice. My husband and I ate there recently and he got the mango curry which he loved. We shared the veggie spring rolls and the Golden Triangle Puff. These were similar to a samosa - a fried pocket with vegetables inside, served with a dipping sauce (possibly vinegar/cucumber?). I will definitely get these again

Solid Thai option in Webster. I regularly order from the Brighton location, but had never been to the location in Webster. I came here with a friend recently for dinner, and really enjoyed the experience. We sat up near the window and it wasn't very crowded, so it felt really nice and cozy. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls (solid, no complaints), chicken larb (it's made with ground chicken, but not as good as my fav Thai place in ROC), Chicken Panang Curry (It was quite spicy this go around), and the Pineapple Fried Rice (I loved the cashews in this dish!). My companion and I shared all of the dishes and had more food than we could finish - had plenty to take home. Service was fast and pleasant. Overall a realy good experience and I would come back again.

I'm very picky about which Asian restaurants I will eat at, I usually just end up cooking from home because I'm disappointed but I had an opposite experience here. Didn't start great with online ordering not working so we had to call but food was ready in 15 mins and everything was good. I ordered the massaman curry, my husband a beef stir fry of some sort and vegetable rolls. His didn't clearly say it didn't come with rice and he didn't ask so he ordered rice causing extra but you can never have too much. The curry was good, not spicy at all and his stir fry was extra spicy like he requested. I would definitely come back and try another type of veggie curry.

Thai tea and entrees were great!! Very fast and friendly takeout service. Didn't love the soup, but everything else was great. Beautiful inside too, would be nice to dine in!

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Being new to this city, I am in search of GOOD Thai food in Rochester. And so far, haven't found any. I say this as a Culinary Professional. I took a shot and ordered from Seasoning Thai. Here is what I ordered Large Tom Kha, Large Beef Pad See Ew, Large Shrimp Pad Thai, Shrimp Thai fried Rice and Hit Jungle Beef. Tom Kha- all water, very wet and loose, very little veg in it, no chili oil, zero real flavor. I honestly don't think they even brought out up to temperature. It tasted like water and a can of very watery coconut milk. Poured it in the bowl and never ate it. Pad See Ew. Noodle was cooked perfectly. Had a lot of Umami, but it wasn't natural, you could tell. It was good. And if you can handle MSG, this is ok to order. Shrimp Pad Thai. This was not good at all. Very dry, with just peanut and cold shrimp. No color, I don't think this even hit the Wok. Shrimp Thai fried rice. This was really good. Except the Umami was not natural. You could taste it. Hot Jungle Beef. Tasted good, unnaturally, very wet and soupy, the coconut milk in it tasted uncooked and catered up with unnatural flavor. This all being said, this restaurant seems to skimp on the ingredients, including comprising the quality by covering it up with Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) to increase flavor. To be sure and not assume, I called the restaurant and asked if they used it, and they confirmed that they did, in fact. As I am not against using things for Umami, MSG leaves me with incredible headaches, stomach aches and a swollen tongue that has sore red bumps. And yes, I should've asked before I ordered, I am paying for it today, as the headache began shortly after eating. It is unfortunate that this is the case. If you have sensitivities, I suggest you find another place.

Food is consistently good. I am gluten free and they have several choices that do not contain soy sauce.

They have always been dismissive of the spice level I ask for. More recently the individual on the line kept asking me if I was sure I wanted level 5 spice. They just would not let it go, it got to the point where I straight up told them we like to eat and grow ghost peppers. That being said, no matter who picks up the phone and takes my order- I ALWAYS need to dump a boat load of chili flakes on top (we have a nice bag on hand at home). If you ask for a 5, tamper your expectations, it will be a 1 or 0. The pad kee mao I recently ordered had maybe 2.5 green beans and 1/4 of a raw tomato?? I asked for tofu and got the same tofu puffs I bye from the asian market (aka their tofu is not freshly fried in-house) and they were on the dry side like they'd been sitting out after being cut in half. The pad thia my partner ordered had a scant amount of chicken, and egg. We had to heavily fix it up with additional chili flakes and lime. It was meant to be a level 5 was more like a level 1. Pathetic. We are no longer going to be ordering takeout from here.

However Clarissa, one of the owners opened the door and let me wait inside. She was also our server and awesome to speak with. It's a nice cozy space right on Main Street Victor. Plenty of parking in front or out back. The food was great. We started with an "off menu" cucumber salad that was reminiscent of kimchi without the fermentation(see pic). My friend is more of a regular and asked for it. It was Delish, crisp, and slightly spicy but not overwhelming. We both had a soup that was a combo of the Somlar Machu and Num Banh Chok with Shrimp. It had a great curry flavor with a bit of the sour hints you would find in a tom yum. It was just spicy enough to make you know it had heat but not too much to blow out your taste buds. I had to run out for a meeting and left behind too much broth. Should have gotten it to go as I would rather drink that than bone broth any day. Sorry no pic of the soup but trust me you would have been drooling at the pic. Definitely recommend giving it a try and I will be back.

I am from Los Angeles born and raised so definitely know my way around pho and Southeast Asian food. What they serve is absolutely a step up. I also tried out one of their house special rice dishes which was phenomenal. The food here is so good I started eating here almost every day while here for work. The wait staff Clarissa is extremely nice and helpful especially if you don't know what you want to order and will explain what flavors and taste you will get from each dish. I'm hoping I come back for work in the area soon so I can eat my way around the entire menu at some point. The only negative thing is that T-mobile service sucks in the area. Thank goodness for work phones(ATT)!
