A beautiful restaurant, definitely made for a nicer dinner. We came with a reservation and got a round table near the window, but not right next to it. Service was kind, but the did make a couple of mistakes here and there. To start, they give complementary bread which I swear is some of the best bread I have ever tasted. It was flavorful and moist with the outside being crisp and inside soft. Definitely could've filled up on this alone. For appetizers we got the mushrooms and crab cakes - mushrooms were alright, but the crab cakes were delicious! For my main, I got the sablefish which was well marinated and super tender. Definitely recommend this. For dessert, we shared the lemon pie and chocolate cake. HIGHLY recommend the chocolate cake - one of the best I've ever had as well. So rich and decadent! read more

Very decent brunch place with fantastic views of downtown Vancouver from almost any spot, and of course fabulous location right in QE park. Excellent service. This is a great place for all occasions. My smoked salmon Benedict was excellent. The latke potato base is innovative, crunchy and works really well - stays firm with repeated cuts. (Many non English muffin bases suffer from being too mushy) it's really tasty. Excellent hollandaise, avocado is wonderful too. I would def get it again. Fries are excellent. Returned for lunch on Good Friday. Remembered to book for an early seating to secure a window table...and we were successful. Love that view. They had a brunch menu out as it was Good Friday but the waitress was able to secure the Prix Fixe lunch menu for us...yeah. I opted for the caesar salad and the cioppino. The salad was as expected...a nice caesar salad and not overly or under dressed. The cioppino was the star of the meal. The saffron tomato broth was excellent...I could not stop dipping the bread, in an attempt to finish it. The snapper, prawns, mussels and scallops were perfect. I sampled each of the desserts...the vanilla creme brûlée and the chocolate truffle cake...both were ok but I had very little room left for dessert. We came to Canada for a girls trip and wanted to eat somewhere "fancy" so we chose season in the park. We had a reservation which made it easier to come. When we got there we were greeted with smiles and the staff was very nice. The food was delicious! My friend ordered some fish, the duck confit, and I ordered the tenderloin. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly and it paired well with the mashed potatoes. We also got a pitcher of sangria which was delicious! I totally recommend! read more

The food and service were excellent. Ordered the steelhead salmon entree and the staff was incredibly accommodating when I wanted to substitute roasted potatoes with mashed potatoes. The meal comes with complimentary bread, which was freshly baked with each order. It's only served with butter but I recommend asking for a side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Overall the ambiance was inviting and warm. Right outside of the front door is a magnificent view of the ocean and I recommend taking a stroll around the grassy area before and/or after your meal. read more

My family and I had Christmas/my belated birthday lunch last Friday. Everyone greeted as we entered the restaurant. Our server (some blond lady) did a fantastic job taking our order and pictures. We had Clam Chowder ($14), Beet and Burrata Salad ($22), QE Burger ($22.50), BC Cod and Chips ($25) and Red Truck lager ($8.25). Everything was made perfectly! Staff didn't forget to bring us a slice of cake. How nice of them to offer us a cake for a birthday special! We ended up taking a brief walk down to parking area. It was a beautiful scenery as usual. Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with a stunning downtown vancouver view. Service was very good. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food. The crab cake was delicious as was the broth that the mussels were in. The meal went downhill from there. I ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken skin was soggy, the chicken meat was bland and the mashed potatoes were completely unseasoned. The green beans were overcooked and also under seasoned. After exploring Queen Elizabeth park and the Bloedel conservatory, we headed to the Seasons in the Park restaurant. Very pretty location with nice views of Vancouver and the mountains. The menu is quite good with options for even picky eaters. I ordered the salmon burger which was excellent. The tuna stack and crab cake were also quite tasty but a bit small since they are appetizers. The restaurant has a nice covered patio and interior space. Service was excellent. Very good warm beard and butter to keep us waiting for our food. A good option if you are in the park. read more

The worst food I've had in at least the last few years. It's basically an overpriced McDonald's for tourists. Never again.

I went here during the holidays for an office lunch and had a beautiful clear sunny day that gave us a wonderful view of the city. I've been here several times before and I enjoy returning. On my most recent visit we shared the skyline platter (charcuterie) and humboldt squid and prawns. Among the five of us it was a decent sized appetizer alongside the complementary bread. For my main I got the seafood linguine carbonara. It was delicious but perhaps a bit heavy on the bacon for my personal liking. My coworker had the same and very much enjoyed all the bacon. For dessert I got the sunburnt lemon pie, which had a seared creme brulee top. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of it! It was delicious and a rather large serving where I probably should have shared it in hindsight. I thought everything was reasonably priced and the ambiance of the restaurant makes this a unique gem in the heart of Vancouver. read more

The ambiance of this restaurant is one of the best in the city. The history of the place and its location in Queen Elizabeth is amazing. Unfortunately, the food has always been a bit of a miss -- I'd really only come here for lunch. I took a chance on its dinner again recently with a big group and we had a chance to order pretty much most of the menu, plus the specials. The seafood is MUCH better than the meats -- despite the open grill concept, the meat quality is simply not good enough to justify the price. The pork chop came out definitely overcooked (despite me asking for medium). The steak, while perfectly cooked, was chewy and flavorless; surely, with a striploin you should get at least one of flavor or tenderness. The best dish by far was the cioppino, which was wonderfully seasoned and came with a good smattering of seafood (the size of the baby scallops was comical though, might as well not include them). The vegetarian pesto ravioli was also quite good. All in all, a decent spot if you're looking strictly for ambiance, but don't expect food that matches the price, quick service, or an atmosphere quiet enough for intimate conversations. read more

Food ok, service was a mess. Went for lunch on a not-busy Monday. We were sat for 15 mins before the server came to get a drink order. The bread was served with fridge-cold, unspreadable butter. Six of us ordered from the set menu to make things easy, or so we thought. Was 30 minutes from when the first appies appeared, to everyone getting theirs. Because soup takes that long to ladle into a bowl? And one appy was delayed an additional 10 minutes because the kitchen messed up and had to remake it. The cioppino was good, but I was not impressed by the broth splatter on the rim. I had to wipe it off to avoid dirty sleeves. Wiping down plate rims is ingrained in professional cooks, so I can't imagine what was going on in the kitchen. Meanwhile a late-ordered cocktail was made and served well before a glass of beer that was ordered during the first course of the meal. So we were unable to toast each other as not everyone had a drink in hand. We didn't complain, keeping things cheerful, in spite of the awkward waits. And the server provided an apology appy and dessert. The experience was embarrassingly out of sync with a fine dining venue. It's been years since we last ate here. There's a Sunday Prime Rib dinner special that they offer for $48 here. Wow...times sure have changed. About 20 years ago you could get that Sunday Prime Rib dinner for $25! Aside from the effects of inflations...it's always a pleasant experience here. The view is hard to beat! Dining alongside the gorgeous sunken garden at Queen Elizabeth Park is such a treat. Service was excellent. Our waitress came around and refilled our water (including hot water) quite a number of times, without us having to ask. That's always an excellent sign in my opinion. The bread they brought was nice and hot, and they butter was actually soft enough to spread. Nothing more frustrating than cold bread with cold, unspreadable butter! The only drawback is that when they offer you more bread...when it's so wonderfully hot you wanna say "yes" so then they bring you more, and you fill up on bread which leaves less space in your tummy for your main course! The truffle mushroom soup was just OK. Didn't taste any truffle flavor in it. I think I heard mixed reviews on the burgers. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts though. Today we had a very upsetting experience at Seasons in the Park in Vancouver. We were dining with our one-year-old baby when our child accidentally dropped a milk bottle. The bottle shattered and some milk spilled onto the floor. We immediately tried to clean it ourselves, but a very kind server came over and told us not to worry and asked us to return to our seats while the staff handled it. Later, while I was outside getting something from the car, the restaurant's General Manager suddenly stopped me and said in a very rude tone: "Did you break this? Do you want to clean it up? If you don't clean it, we will charge you." I was honestly shocked by the way he spoke to me. I immediately explained that we had already tried to clean the area and that one of their servers specifically told us not to worry. However, he responded by saying that was the server's decision, not his. At no point were we trying to avoid responsibility. In fact, before this interaction, I was already planning to leave an extra tip to apologize for the inconvenience. What made the situation even worse was the manager's attitude afterward. He repeatedly described the incident as a "huge mass" and said parents should "educate their children." My child is literally one year old. The milk was not even spilled on carpet, only on a normal floor area, and staff finished cleaning it within minutes. Throughout the entire interaction, there was no empathy, no understanding, and no professionalism from the manager. Instead, he kept speaking in an arrogant and confrontational way. When I said I felt discriminated against, he responded by saying "80% of our customers are Chinese," which honestly made the situation feel even more ironic. We already apologized to the staff, helped clean the scene, and fully acknowledged the accident. Yet the manager continued insisting that we had not apologized directly to him personally, as if we were expected to search the restaurant and wait for him before we were allowed to sit down. This experience completely changed the way we view this restaurant. Accidents happen, especially with babies, but the way customers are treated matters far more. The food and view no longer matter when basic respect and empathy are missing. read more

We visited the Bloedel Conservatory and the ladies at the desk recommended Seasons. I wasn't expecting much but was surprised to find this hidden gem with the most amazing views of the city. Husband ordered Fish and Chips and I got the Seasons Salad. Fish was perfectly cooked and not too greasy. The salad was the most amazing salad I think I have ever had. The dressing was lovely, veggies fresh and to top it off I swapped chicken for salmon. The staff was attentive and they even brought me a piece of cake with a candle for my birthday. It was a beautiful day and I was blessed to spend my birthday in such a beautiful spot. read more

Amazing Sunday dinner service. Prime rib special with mashed potatoes, roasted broccolini, roasted carrots, horse radish, and Yorkshire pudding. Our prime rib came out at a perfect medium rare and not so much gristle. We also added the truffle fries for the table and the beef carpaccio. The kids shared a spaghetti bolognese. I came for a wedding celebration meal. They served a set menu in a private room. Venue: nice views of the city on a clear day. Restaurant is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is clean. Service: good. solid 4/5. At times not very attentive and hard to find them to get some help but overall they were friendly and helpful. Drinks: I tried 2 cocktails: Caesar - ok. A bit too salty. 3/5. Grapefruit aperol Spritz - this was good. Basically your typical aperol spritz but with grapefruit instead. 4.5/5. If you dont like grapefruit though, dont get this. Food: They served a few hors d'oeuvres. salmon mousse crostini - ok. 3/5. avocado toast crostini - 2/5. Just really bland and boring. mushroom Arancini ball - these were good but ideally they were hot and fresh, and they were not. 4/5. cocktail shrimp - they were big and plump, cooked nicely and deveined. Sauce was average. 3.5/5. Caprese salad with Arugula - 3/5. The Arugula was unecessary and the Tomatoes didnt have much flavour - just too underripe. Crab cake - good, but sadly had a few bits of shell in it and held its shape rather poorly. 3/5, had it been executed better, would be solid 4-5/5. Main course I picked the lobster tail duo, served with veg and potatoes. This was the problem. This should have been the highlight of the meal. But this dish was absolutely awful and failed on so many levels. They served a pair of lobster tails - tiny ones of course - this is cheaper than 1 big one. But whatever, thats fine. Except they were WAY overcooked and rubbery, and WAY over-salted. It was inedible. I couldnt eat it. All you taste is salt and its too chewy and dry. BOTH of them. They do serve it with butter on the side but a good piece of lobster should not need to be drowned in butter. The veg served with it? The carrots were way undercooked. Not on the firm side with some bite. no. this was hard, and nearly raw. Unacceptable. The roast potatoes were cooked through but not crispy at all. The zucchini slices were ok. This dish is a 0/5. They deserve nothing for this. Its the kind of dish that should have been sent back, but I didnt want to cause any issues at someone else's wedding. dessert was creme brulee - ok. 3/5. It was served cold and ended up too firm on the inside. Espresso - this was a good espresso. There is valet parking out front. Overall, this place gets a 2/5. Food ranges from mediocre to just plain awful. If you want the views, you can get it at the park for free just outside the restaurant. Their decent service earns them the extra point, saving them from rock bottom. read more

My Prosecco and my water glass were filled all the time. Their menu is fantastic, all good options and their prime rib is one of my favourite. Their salmon is divine. If you're coming for the view I highly recommend this place, if you're coming for the food I just assume stay home &cook an egg. Not much variety in the menu. The mashed potatoes tasted like it was from a box mix & was the consistency of mush, the vegetables were barely cooked & my chicken was edible but bland. 3 other diners with me didn't like their food either. The place was packed on a Friday afternoon and staff was working quickly but there just wasn't enough staff on duty as we waited at least 20 minutes before we placed our order. our server was very friendly. The crab cake was $19.50 and there was only one on the plate so tiny that my husband ended up giving it to me as we couldn't even split it as it was so small.... Not worth it! Rip off! The seafood pasta was greasy and bland.... Didn't see any scallops at all.... The appetizer plate of mussels were tiny and drenched in tomato water that was salty and lukewarm warm. The duck confit was dry and the mash potatoes were gooey and greasy! Oh the food was very disappointing! We didn't even order a dessert as we wanted to get out of there ASAP. It would have been nice to hear happy anniversary or at least been offered a complimentary dessert given the price point and reputation of this being a first class restaurant. Lets just say Seasons is not the restaurant I expected it would be. I will never ever be back ever again.... There are so many better restaurants to do special celebrations in Vancouver! Celebrated our 6months anniversary at seasons in the park. Apparently you can't reserve for window seat but we were lucky to have gotten a killer view at the patio anyways. We also got a reservation the week of but maybe it's because it's a later reservation (7:45). All in all the food is also delicious. I got the lamb rack while my partner got the crab cake on steak, both medium rare. I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb rack with the side of mashed potato and carrot and broccoli. I thought the crab cake was deliciously delicate with a hint of lemon but the steak was a little too gamy for me. The cake was a pleasant surprise! read more

TLDR: Marek is friendly and chatty. Pork chop is top 5 ever! I don't know if you know this, but it was made abundantly clear in many of the signs through the restaurant, that BILL CLINTON ate here. Perched atop the peak of Queen Elizabeth park, is this wonderful restaurant with gorgeous views. We made a reservation, and was lucky to get a window view of Northern Vancouver, with the hazy mountains in the back. Unfortunately, we were seated RIGHT next to another table, even though there were PLENTY of open tables around. It was.. a bit odd. The biggest highlight of the dinner was actually our server, Marek, who was an absolute delight to talk to. When he heard we were visitors, he immediately gave us a small puzzle... What was something missing from Vancouver, that is present in all other major cities? (Hint: it was infrastructure-related) When we also told him where we were staying, he also mentioned another great phenomenon... the ravens nesting at dusk, and the best place to see them, which was near where we stayed. He also wrote down some must-see sites, such as Whistler and Granville Island. Honestly, he made the dinner wonderful. The second biggest highlight was my wife's pork chop! It's REALLY hard to do pork chop right... often it's a case of how dry is it on a scale from super dry to a little dry. But in this case, every bite was juicy and soft! Not a dry morsel to be found. I was even worried because my wife took her time before she even started on her dish, but turns out my worry was unfounded... even after it "rested" for 5 additional minutes on her plate. I believe this to be the best pork chop we ever ate. Glorious! In comparison, my halibut was ok. It wasn't cooked badly at all. It was flaky and I liked the sun-dried tomatoes on top, which add a bit of sourness and sweetness. But, my mind still kept dwelling on the heavenly pork chop. As usual, we ordered WAYYYY too much food. We also got the brussel sprouts, which were also good. It was cooked just the way we liked it... with a nice sear on it, and dressed with oil. The sprouts tasted sweet and tangy, and I didn't get that much of the raw sprout taste. I wouldn't say it was top 5, but it's definitely good. Would order that again. We also got the truffle fries. They were crunchy and crispy. And they had a nice, not over-powering garlic flavor as well. Luckily I couldn't taste too much of the truffle oil. But it's something we could have definitely skipped. As is our wont at Western dinners, we ordered a cocktail. Ever since I got one for my lovely wife way back in Utah, this has been our thing. For this time, we got the Bumu Breeze, which is a rum-based drink with strawberry and lime. She loved it... probably her second favorite. It even tasted better at the end of the drink, with the diluted rum at the bottom. Finally, we ended our wonderful night with some creme brule. It was another could-skip. The brulee was not enough, as the top wasn't crispy at all. The inside was dense. Another skip. However, with the excellent service and best pork chop we've had, this place easily earns 5 stars from us. This is a place we would not only love to go back to, but worthy of a trip to specifically go to eat. There is valet here... as of 2024, it was $18 for dinner valet. Solid 3.5 stars. I see some reviews taking into account the ambiance and views, to up their ratings but how about the food! Given it's history and posh stature I expected my socks to be knocked off. I'm not seeing what others are viewing as excellence. Joined a group for dinner a while back. We had a patio table outdoors in November. It was quite cold and rainy that night. The restaurant kept the fires going and if you sat between fireplaces, it was quite alright. I've heard the stories and know the lore. We ordered some of the best menu options and split a few. Did the same with their dessert menu. Cocktails were ample. Tbh, I feel as though wealthy types (old money) flock here because of a level of service that they appreciate. Really disappointing experience at Seasons in the Park. Our server was unpleasant and at times flat out rude. We had a couple of elderly people in our group, so I tried to help facilitate the ordering process to make things smoother for everyone. Despite that, the server was very stern about having each person order in exact sequence, even though we had made things very clear. She seemed visibly and audibly frustrated with us, which felt completely unnecessary. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time, so it's not like she was overwhelmed or rushed. Still, she made us feel like we were an inconvenience just for being there. The food itself wasn't great either. My New York prime was dry and tough, even though I ordered it medium rare. Overall, it felt like you're just paying for the view. I'd recommend visiting the park for the scenery and going somewhere else for food. Not worth the price or the attitude. Definitely the low point of our Vancouver trip. read more

Wow what a view! Beautiful restaurant and great if you're able to snag a table next to the floor to ceiling windows. We started with the ahi tuna, truffle fries, and seasonal mushrooms for the table. Most of our party got the sablefish (consensus that it was one of the best whitefish they've tasted) and the rest got duck confit (fantastic!).
