Plenty of free parking available in front of the hotel entrance. They have indoor and outdoor seating and even during the day, the outdoor was nicely shaded. Their bathroom is shared out in the lobby; very fancy and clean. *We went for 2026 Jan San Diego Restaurant Week* Their appetizer Celeriac Apple Soup was amazing. Nothing I have had before. It has a texture of a bisque and had the nutty and a slight tangy flavor. Definitely pleasantly surprised. The Shrimp Louie was ok. The fried Catfish was crispy and juicy. It does have that catfish smell but goes well with the sauce it came with. The French Dip came with really dry meat and even with the au jus it tasted a bit dry. Their desserts coffee cake and chocolate orange brûlée were amazing. Not too sweet but perfectly flavored and huge in size. All their cocktails were amazing! We did pick their sweet types (Spiced pear martini, Fig + gin spritz, Liquid sunshine, Agua de Jamaica, and Port wine sour) but they definitely were sweet and delicious. They did not taste like alcohol at all. Their non-alcoholic cocktails like the Bitter Rose were also sweet and refreshing. The service was quick and although the kitchen messed up the salad order, they fixed it by bringing out the missing item. Ask your server for recommendations if unsure. For a group of 6, they did add a service charge of 20% already to the bill.

Restaurant Week featured Seasons Restaurant in Carlsbad and it delivered a truly spectacular experience. Located inside the resort, the venue was beautiful and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Jelly, our hostess, greeted everyone with a big, warm smile and was very respectful of guests' time. We were seated promptly and didn't have to wait long at all. Our waitress, Yvonne, was fantastic. She's charismatic, professional, and instantly made us feel like we were being served by a friend. Her recommendations were spot-on. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I especially loved the panko-fried catfish It was light, crispy, and not heavy at all. Portions were perfectly balanced; I felt satisfied without being overly stuffed, even after dessert. Overall, Seasons Restaurant offers the right food proportions, excellent service, and elegant, flavorful food. I highly recommend this place for both the dining experience and the exceptional hospitality.

Stopped by for breakfast over a weekend. We were seated right away and service was attentive. They checked on us throughout the meal as well. We ordered a cappuccino, avocado toast, fruit platter, breakfast burrito, and potatoes. Everything was fresh and delicious. The avocado toast was the standout with the lemon, it added a freshness and tang that I really enjoyed. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area.

I love an amazing waitress just sets the mood right. Beatrice was patient, kind and extremely attentive. Filet mignon Benedict 10/10 Perfect steak and poached egg Hash brown 10/10 French toast 10/10 My waitress was super kind which made everything even more delicious this is a hidden gem in SD for brunch in Carlsbad. Located inside Hyatt Aviara available parking for guest. Beautiful setting

Absolutely loved this place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was truly unmatched. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly accommodating and made us feel like royalty. Norma was so friendly and helpful, and our server Ali went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. The food came out quickly, hot, and fresh, and the fruit was especially fresh and delicious. The restrooms had a spa feel as well Honestly, this level of service is something we haven't even experienced at several high-end restaurants in downtown San Diego. Overall, an amazing experience. We will definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to everyone looking for a relaxing brunch or breakfast, whether with family or just adults.

Me and a friend (and his dog) came here for a little RESTAURANT WEEK to feel the staycation vibes. The professionalism of the Four Seasons is always absolute TOP NOTCH and the gold standard, so honestly it's just nice to be in that environment when you know no matter what you are going to be taken care of and get good service, full stop. 5/5 I thought the food was elevated, and good but nothing to go out of my way for. It is, after all a hotel restaurant. Between us we tried every single item on the restaurant week menu. Who knows if that is what they usually serve or not? I did enjoy the vegan meatball dish the most, oddly enough. The shrimp pasta was light and a little watery imo. But had lots of shrimp at least. I wasn't really a fan of the Monte cristo it had an odd smell to it, but the bread was good. The best dessert was the goat cheese tart, unexpected and unique! 4/5 The indoor outdoor vibe is super nice and I didn't feel weird at all not being a guest. Parking was also super easy and chill. 5/5 I think if you're going for a nature walk around the Carlsbad lagoon and in the area or playing tennis here this is a tucked away upscale treat to try!

I have mixed feelings towards this place. Service was great: the staff were really kind and took care of me and my dog; they kept checking up on me. This is the place if you're looking for a quiet, romantic space: intimate but not dim, relaxing but not too casual or rushed. Seating was really comfortable. Note that this is a restaurant in a hotel. My tropical drink ($24) was refreshing; it tasted like a piña colada but unsure if it's worth the price. I ordered a Gem Caesar Salad ($17) and a Chicken Dish ($34) which were beautifully presented, but sadly quite lacked seasoning. The chicken was the exception: cooked perfectly, with its lightly salted, crisp skin--essentially saved the dish. The mushrooms and chicken reduction also added some depth in flavor but I'd skip the couscous risotto. The wait for each dish/drink was longer than I would've liked but I was solo dining so it could've been different. Will probably return for dessert paired with a coffee.

My friends and I chose this restaurant by the po for brunch before another event. We arrived and the other half of our party was seated overlooking the pool, which was pretty. Our surface name was Beatrice and she was able to get our drinks ordered. They have a special brunch menu in which they offer some really nice specialty cocktails as well as regular items hot and cold to drink. I ordered the Homey Matcha hot. They have a honey Matcha and a regular Matcha hot. After she took everyone's drink orders, we sat by the pool while we enjoyed the music of this wonderful singer and guitarist named Jolene Cruz. I drinks came out and mine was not what I ordered, but I went ahead and enjoyed it because I didn't have the energy to order again nor send back what I had had and then have to wait again for it to be prepared and then delivered again. We submitted our food orders for brunch. One of the issues that we had was that during our stay outside, there were multiple bees that were trying to get to us as we dined. The situation got a bit worse after our food came. Our server offered to move us into the inside dining room next to the bar. We moved there and things were a lot more peaceful for us, and we were able to enjoy our meal and have a good time at brunch.I had a "Cider-Rita" which is an apple cider margarita. This was absolutely delicious. I really wanted the pear drink, but because it had ingredients that I was allergic to I couldn't order it. Our food was good and we had a great time. Our service did get a little bit slower when we got inside and so we just decided to wrap it up and finish eating quickly so that we could make our next appointment. This was a great experience. I would say the highlight is food, the drinks, and the singer, she was fantastic. We Venmo her tips and we also followed her on Instagram so that we could book her for future performance.

Loved this cute and cozy restaurant inside four seasons residences and I love the fact that they had a lot of gluten-free options including a separate fryer for fries! We got some steak nacho fries and jumbo shrimp, which was super tasty and flavorful and our bartender was very friendly! Definitely going to go back if I'm in Carlsbad area again

I actually really liked my food here but there's no way I can rank it higher. Service was SLOW - and at a place that's trying to be fine dining and takes dinner reservations outdoors, they don't have any *patio heaters*. There's intelligent life in the kitchen. My beet salad was actually freaking delicious. And my halibut was super tasty. So that's what pulls the rating up. But after a nice welcome at the hostess stand, it took a long time to get a server; the servers and/or kitchen were extremely slow; and this must be a normal thing here. At a well-run restaurant, if I were waiting for my entree an hour after sitting down, someone would come tell me it was coming and apologize, and/or offer me something to munch on in the meanwhile. Nothing here, because they must ordinarily be SLOW (see the other reviews). My cocktail was tasty, and my sweetie thought his food was 3-4 stars, so it's a bummer that they're not more organized here. But often though I really enjoyed my two dishes, I was still pretty darn hungry after. The desserts didn't look that interesting - but also I didn't want it to take another 45 minutes for another course to come. So the food here is interesting. If you're staying here and you don't mind sitting for long periods with no food, give it a try. But I can't really recommend it to folks who have other choices and certainly not if you are eating outside and don't know if it will be a cool night, unless you really want to layer. I was singing "I'm extremely very HUUUUUNGRY" for quite a while (to the tune of Battle Hymn of the Republic), and I don't need to do that when I'm paying $$$. (Maybe some bread service might help if it's going to take that long between courses??)

Loved their lunch menu for restaurant week. The dog friendly patio was very comfortable with a great view of the pool and the soothing sound of the center fountain. Service was friendly. We liked the slower pace. We like that you don't need to pay for valet here. Loved: chicken Milanese sandwich, buttery sea bass with corn and bean salad, and the cioppino stew. Specialty lattes are delicious here too

I always enjoy their grilled chicken sandwich which has a delicious chipotle aoli and pepper relish sauce. I love coming here and sitting on the patio by the fountain overlooking the pool. It feels like a relaxing oasis tucked away in Carlsbad.

it's saturday night. we don't have a reservation. they tell us the wait is over an hour. what do we…read moredo? we wait. and thank jebus we did, because this ended up being one of the best meals i've had in a while. we started with the prawn. we each got one, and given that they're $10 a skewer, our bill started off STRONG. the prawns were perfectly roasted with hints of mezcal and prickly pear. the candied habanero or whatever garnish of death was on there totally kicked my ass in terms of spice. in true Asian fashion, we ripped the heads off and sucked all the goodness out of them too. no shame. you don't waste the good stuff. then the cornbread showed up. the group collectively agreed we'd pass on this one next time. for me, the goat cheese threw me off, but that's entirely on me because i hate goat cheese and still knowingly ordered something with goat cheese. i played myself. there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dish, but compared to everything else we ate, there wasn't anything particularly standout about it either. but then. the fucking broccoli showed up. it is literally charred broccoli with chermoula, lime, and peanut. that's it. BROCCOLI. and after taking one bite, i learned that broccoli could, in fact, be life changing. suddenly i was a new woman. a woman who wanted nothing more than to sit there and stuff her face with massive amounts of broccoli. unfortunately, i couldn't because we still had dishes to taste. and so i moved on to the pork belly. when people describe something as "melting in your mouth," they are specifically referring to Campfire's pork belly. because that's exactly what it did. just melted all up in my mouth and lit my taste buds on fire. normally, i find pork belly prepared this way a little heavy and can only stomach a few bites, but i could have eaten the entire dish. but of course i didn't, because i'm a lady. and the octopus was about to show up. and show up it DID. i don't like celery, and this dish had plenty of it, but because it was shaved super thin, it was actually super palatable. the octopus was incredibly tender, and there were little bits of chorizo throughout that gave it the perfect balance. also, love me a good chimichurri sauce. and finally, last but truly not least, the chicken. a whole ass half bird, charred to perfection with roasted red pepper, kumquat, and fennel. apparently i like fennel now??? i didn't even know i liked fennel like that, but here we are. if i hadn't already been stuffed to the absolute brim, i could have destroyed this entire dish. the chicken was juicy and tender, and paired with the fennel, you're almost like just having a healthy dish??? LOL. although we went in with every intention of ending the night with s'mores, our bodies simply said no. there was no more room at the inn. see what i did there :P so instead, we left and went on a very long walk to digest all the delicious goodness that was Campfire. i cannot wait to go back. mostly for the broccoli, which is a sentence i never thought i'd write in my life. and this time, i will absolutely be making a reservation.

It's such a nice place to hang out, enjoy the view, and grab something to eat or drink. We ordered the summer salad and a flatbread, although I can't remember the name of the flatbread. Both were actually very, very tasty! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food. Everything came out quickly too. The service was also great, both from the person helping us at the bar and the person who brought out our food. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come back here to grab a bite, have a drink, and enjoy that beautiful view. Great food, great service, and such a nice rooftop atmosphere. Five stars all the way!

TINLEAF FRESH KITCHEN @ CARLSBAD…read more Parking is very tight, and it does get extremely busy since this place is shared with a bunch of other businesses and restaurants. That said, it's honestly a good kind of busy, the complex is super lively, and I absolutely love that vibe. I'd definitely recommend trying to find parking as quickly as you can, but we were able to snag a spot within about five minutes. I like how easy the set up is, you walk in, look at the menu, order and pay right away, then sit wherever you'd like while the food is brought out to you. Overall, the food quality was pretty decent. My family and I ordered family-style and tried a variety of items, including their salads, a mushroom plate, and the salmon. Everything was really good, although the salmon was a bit overcooked. I especially loved the fries that came with the salad. One thing I really liked is that they offer a lot of different combinations, so you can do something like half a sandwich with a soup or salad, or mix and match depending on what you're craving. They also have a convenient water station in the back corner, which is super handy. There's also an outdoor patio area, and it's such a cute spot, perfect for lounging with a drink, sandwich, or appetizer. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a quick lunch with friends. The vibe feels much more lunch-focused than dinner, and the staff was super friendly. There were also a lot of to-go orders while we were there, so it's clear this place is very popular.
