I called today to see if there was anyway I could go on site and borrow a tool from them for a very quick test (dynamically syncing my carbs). I know how to do it, but I don't feel like buying the tool (it's $100). The representative was very rude and said they never let anyone borrow tools. Fair enough, but that was the end of the conversation as far as he was concerned. No attempt to persuade me that letting them do it might be cheaper than buying the tool, and maybe get back to me with a guess as to how much it might cost. Horrible customer service. They should rename themselves Seattle Scooter Center. Almost their entire inventory is cheap Chinese scooters, with a couple cheap Chinese 'motorcycles' added in. So if you're looking for a Kymco or SYM or some other Chinese knockoff using bad imitations of Japanese designs, this is definitely the place for you. If you want a real motorcycle I suggest Motoplex in Lynnwood, Lake City Powersports, I90 Motorsports, Hinshaw's in Auburn or a host of others. Don't waste your time with these guys. read more

I just got my WA motorcycle/scooter enhancement and I visited several scooter/cycle places yesterday doing research. These guys were great. The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. When I asked about used Vespas, they let me know it's super rare that they get those in stock and my best bet would to be Craigslist (especially as a first scoot). When I mentioned that actually we were going to go take a look at a used Vespa off of Craigslist after this, the gentleman at Cycle Center asked to see the listing. I pulled it up for him on my phone, he took the time to read it over and said, as long as it checks out as the ad had stated, it was a great deal and he'd buy it in a heartbeat. I was impressed that he'd steer me to Craigslist and give me his honest opinion when other places had just tried to change the conversation to another brand that they did have in stock. Cycle Center also gave me info on their pre-buy inspection, which I appreciated. While I didn't end up purchasing anything from them yesterday, their customer service was stellar and they've won themselves a customer. I will be returning to Cycle Center for repairs and gear as needed! read more

This shop is a gem! Seriously, the few times I've gone to them, I've had nothing but superb service. They are so helpful, knowledgeable and down to earth. I feel like other shops just want to get you in the door and charge you up the a** for things. These guys care about the customer not just the bottom line. One of the issues I had with my bike, was going to be spending. I called to get a quote (which they gave me), but they also called me back with options I hadn't considered or been offered by any other shop. I'm really fortunate for the time they took with my situation and hands down will refer to their expertise above all others. read more

Great selection of gear and new scooters if you are into Chinese models. My scooter has been in the repair shop for going on three weeks for an undiagnosable starting issue and they are still working on it...they are confident they will figure it out. Hopefully I get my bike back soon because 3 weeks without transportation suuuuuucks. Make sure to get there early in the morning for faster service. Also keep in mind they will probably have to order most parts for your scooter! read more

Dropped by the shop a couple weeks ago- never had service done there before. They explained their service dept is first-come first-served and its best to show up early.... came back early on a Saturday and they got to work on the bike right away. Done servicing my bike 90 minutes later and their technician even checked and fixed a few things like chain tension and such even though I was only there to get hydraulic fluids changed out- really nice guys... definitely servicing my bike there again in the future. read more

Their customer service just plain sucks in my experience, ineffective and rude. Ordered a replacement tire through them because they promised it would be delivered quickly (was told it could be delifered later same week). Wednesday of the following week comes around, I call to check the order status and told it's been shipped and will be here either later that day or on Friday. On Friday I call again to check the status, they guy says he needs to look into my order and he will call me back in 5 minutes. No one calls back. Call them again nearly an hour later, same dude picks up the phone, apologizes and says he willl call me back for sure this time. Two hours later, no call back. Happen to be in the area so I stop by the store and the same guy finally admits the tire is actually on the backorder! Then, when I ask why was I told that it's been shipped already he takes offence, snaps at me and asks if I want a refund. Sure I do, will gladly take my business elsewhere! read more

I rolled in after work just yesterday only to be completely ignored by the sales staff despite the fact that I need a new jacket immediately. I don't know if it was because I was in my work clothes and not on my bike, but they didn't seem in any hurry to help me. The guy in his leathers that was looking at the same jacket 20 seconds after me of course got prompt assistance without asking. I had also previously called to see if the jacket I was interested in was in stock and the girl that answered the phone was less than helpful if not outright rude. My gear dollars will go elsewhere. read more
