A last-minute trip needed a last-minute car rental. Enterprise is my go to and I usually only rent…read moreabout once a year so it's not necessarily a familiar process. But the staff team that works the SeaTac venue was truly seamless. It was Gabe who first assisted me to confirm my paperwork and I think that took less than 10 minutes because I've been able to make the reservation by phone. I want to be really clear that I talked to a human to make the reservation and that made all the difference for me. The online version of it was inefficient and didn't allow me to ask questions and get clarification that I needed so I hope Enterprise continues to allow customers to talk to human Customer Service representatives because not all questions can be answered online. Then I was sent to the next area which involved some trepidation because it was a vast area of garage space but immediately Natalie who was part of Enterprise approached me and took my tentativeness and turned it into confidence. She walked me past several areas and made sure that I was put into a vehicle that suited my concerns. And instead of feeling limited by my selection upstairs I felt I was actually given some options in which car I could land in. That made a tremendous difference. Her welcome was genuine and she was very helpful. So between Gabe and Natalie I had a great car pick up experience. And then I'd like to mention Christian who helped me get out of my car when I returned it 24 hours later. He helped me figure out why I would not get a day return back Despite returning at 12 hours earlier, and he was friendly and very positive about his work. I think he was celebrating a work anniversary actually but I don't remember which one it was. Regardless kudos to Enterprise for having such great staff work with us to make a car pick up and car returns simple and seamless. My only issue now is that I left some keys in the car and I would love to figure out how to get a hold of them. I did email Enterprise but have not heard back. I wonder if there is a more direct route to figuring out Lost and found items?

I've used several different companies before but Enterprise generally has a pretty good rate. My last experience with Enterprise was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. At first, it was nice that they offered the choice of a car to me, and provided some full-size sedan options at no cost for an upgrade. I took a Nissan Altima. As soon as I pulled out of the registration, warnings started going off on my dashboard about low tire pressure. I checked the tire pressure and noticed it was enough to make it to my destination so I didn't pay it any mind. The destination I went to had no service stations nearby, so I e-mailed into Enterprise to ask about the issue. They said I could return the car or pull into a Firestone. It took a few days for me to get to the Firestone but once I did, the technicians took a look and found a deeply embedded nail into the tire that was slowly leaking air. I had attributed the tire pressure fluctuation to the cold weather. They filled the tire back up enough to where I would make it back to the airport. I reported the issue immediately via e-mail and to the manager on site. I'm leaving a 3-star instead of a 1-star because previous experiences have been fine, but this last one was straight up dangerous. Inspect your cars well before taking them out.

Budget Rent A Car System - The line to get our rental car on a Wednesday afternoon. Utterly ridiculous and unacceptable!

Our confirmed reservation was for a medium sedan, with an upgrade from our insurance company plan…read more When we got to SeaTac, all they had left was a budget economy sedan whose trunk barely would allow us to store two or four suitcases (2 large, 2 medium-sized). We went back up to the counter and asked if we could get the car we reserved -- and waited for a "manager" to hear our complaint. Waited more than two hours. My girlfriend, who made the reservation, is at the top of Budget's incentive rewards class, which in this case did us no good. Of course, we could drive back on Monday and talk to a manger, there being none available on Saturday (so shift supervisor, either). Tire pressures were all low, one tire indicating less than 15 psi; car inside windshield and windows were filthy... hate thinking what was sprayed on the inside of the windows... car floor and seats were also filthy, and the car smelled like smoke, pot, and dirty dog. Windshield spray reservoir was empty, and the motor oil level was below the minimum line, perhaps as much as 1/2 - 3/4 qt. We had to add almost 4 gallons from an indicated nearly-fuel level of "full" to actually be full: that's the game people play, I guess, but the gas gauge wasn't quite at the line for Full. We called Budget and were promised recompense for the gas tank being "not full" -- but after some time, Budget doesn't seem to want to honor their promise. Never again. It was a car: that's about it.

Total scam! Picked up our car "full" with 390 miles to empty. Drove it 185ish miles filled it up…read moreless than a mile from facility put almost 13 gallons in it, 499 miles to empty. Now they are trying to charge me $101 for returning it with less fuel than we picked it up!!

My mechanic called and my caracould not be repaired before the weekend, but was still drivable, so I returned my rental after exactly having it for 24 hrs. I needed a car for the weekend. I asked what my new rate was after returning the car and I was told $196.00, for one day rental. I questioned that rate and after a call to the manager, they lowered it to $96.00. That was still expensive and I was told that that was the rate because I rented on a Thursday!! Bulloney!!!! The manager confirmed the price, and I ended up getting charged $118.00 for one day rental. I have never posted a bad review, but this was ridiculously priced, and I couldn't let it go without voicing my discontent of what took place. I'll never go back to this place for sure!! Long story short they didn't have the 16' foot I reserved and they said that if you read the fine print it mentions that you are guaranteed a truck but you are not guaranteed the exact size you reserved? Then why would I even reserve it in the first place? I don't understand. My suggestion is to not go to this place because they weren't professional at all. So I went online again and I booked another reservation to reserve a 16 foot truck because it said it was available at that same exact location. Then when I called the lady she said there's only 12 foot box trucks again. I don't know what the problem is, it's both the website and the customer service that aren't accurate.

You know those companies with insanely long contracts full of fine print, where they rush you to…read moresign so they can take your money--and your soul? Yeah... that's this company. They don't treat you like a human being. You're just a number, a signature, and a transaction. The employees seem like they're only there to clock in and clock out--no passion, no sense of mission, no genuine care. Just fake smiles and scripted kindness. They don't care what you're dealing with or why you're there; they don't even really see you as a person. This is a car rental business, which means most customers are people in need. There should be some level of compassion, patience, and understanding. Unfortunately, that's completely missing here. Here's what happened to me: The night before renting, my wife and I called to confirm exactly what we needed so we could come prepared. We were told clearly what was required. The next morning, we showed up with everything--only to be told they don't accept my card, even though it's a Visa. The night before, they said they accept all Visas. If you don't accept all Visas, then don't tell people that you do. That's misleading, plain and simple. I stayed calm, gathered my things, and left, understanding that mistakes happen. I figured I'd double-check everything and come back fully prepared. Fast forward a week later: I return with everything they told me I needed. And suddenly--there are new problems with my documentation. Now it needs to be "a certain way," something that was never explained beforehand. I have a life. I'm married. I have kids. I don't have time for constant back-and-forth when I'm spending my hard-earned money. Business is a trade--money exchanged for service--and this place does not offer honest, efficient service. Bottom line: Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and want to deal with people doing the bare minimum, I do not recommend this place. My experience could--and should--have been much better.

This is by far the worst location Enterprise can have. Their staff is them most incompetent I've…read moreever dealt with. Specially their assistant manager Juanita or whatever her name is. I've rented here four different times and all four have been from bad to worst experience. My last being the last time I ever rent here. I came in an clearly stated I wanted to pay an additional 5 days of rental and I didn't have all day to be there as every time I come in, I spend no less than close to 2hrs. Not only did she close my existing rental which refunded me the $50 deposit without asking me but when she opened a second reservation for THE same car instead of just charging the extra days, she waited till the end and after she got initials to say the deposit for the new one would be $200 instead. I wasted a whole hour and some of my time explaining to her stupid self that I was NOT paying anything more than the $50 because it was HER mistake for not telling us until the end. Specially when nobody asked her to close anything out and open a new one. Maybe it was most convenient for her but not us. She's the stupidest most incompetent person and should be demoted and retrained. She'll sit there and smile while you're expressing your frustration and even walks away and helps other people, checks in cars while you're standing there and she says nothing. You're just left there thinking she's working on your reservation while she's not. She's just ignoring you. She wouldn't call a manager or check if there was a way to bypass the extra deposit since it wasn't needed from the start. Previously I've called to make sure they've got the car I'm looking for and have been told yes and once I get there, they try and get me into whatever THEY want and I've even had to go run errand while the go pick up cars from other locations. All they do is lie, be rude, careless, and not listen to a thing you say. Maybe shutting up and listening to the customer's request would help you do your job right. Kept talking over me and cutting me off the whole time. We're not in your ghettos and you're at work. So much for assistant manager and can't figure out a thing on her own. Smh.
