What a difference new management and/or ownership makes! Wow.... Two years ago I contemplated renting a 5x10 storage unit there for my motorcycle because it was within walking distance from my house. The previous owner/manager was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. I left the premises within minutes and ended up renting with a competitor even though this location was more convenient to me. Then I noticed the new red sign along Clopper road suggesting that changes were being made and I decided to stop by again. This time the experience was completely different. I was greeted by Sau and his wife and honestly felt like I had known them for years. They were kind, honest, professional and transparent. Even though they did not have the exact type of unit I needed, I was fine with signing up for a larger unit at a higher cost. Not sure who actually owns this storage but if they are reading the reviews, I add my voice to that of all the other reviewers who have witnessed the drastic improvement in management at this location. read more

My husband and I rented a storage unit while we were in the process of trying to sell our home. We had to find a convenient location that allowed us the ability to upgrade in size if needed. We were so happy with our experience at Security Public Storage! The owners were so friendly and helpful! After having a unit for a month we quickly outgrew it and the owners were so helpful letting us upgrade to a higher unit size. They even helped us move our things! We ultimately had to take our home off of the market and move out all of our things. The owners provided a uhaul and again helped us move our items onto the uhaul. These people truly go above and beyond for their customers. I was so amazed at their kindness and would highly recommend them and their business to everyone. Absolutely great Uhaul experience renting from here. Sal was extremely professional with exceptional customer service and compensated for the experience I had when the 15' truck I originally reserved from a different uhaul dealer did not have my rental ready, and left me stranded when I needed it most to move my furniture into a new place. Sal saved my day when I walked in by providing me a 15' truck that had just came in and informed me of Uhaul's $50 Reservation Guatantee Policy which I took on by calling customer service and they made up for the experience I had before finding Public Security Storage and reimbursing me $50 which cut my rental nearly in half. I needed a small moving truck to move a couch. I called the office and spoke to the manager, Sau Fuakilua, he was very friendly, polite and professional. They are a U-Haul certified dealer and Sau was able to hold a truck for same day rental. The are always prompt, so very professional and always keeps you updated. They work so hard with you to keep things in order for your billings. This was a serious helpful thing for me because being in the military, I don't have the time to always pay in person or be on the internet to pay online. This is the best Self Storage in the area. They have state of the art Security Cameras, Awesom Managers that live onsight and are always very helpful and they make you feel like family. Under New Exceptional Management. I recently moved. I needed a large vehicle. There was a bit of a hiccup with scheduling my vehicle. Sal and Sarah took care of it within a half hour. The vehicle was brand new and it worked for what I needed. The facility is centrally located so you don't need to put extra miles on the tab driving to a facility on the outskirts of town. We have been in several different units and never had any problems with any of them, and they are super willing to work with businesses. Staff is very friendly and helpful.They are doing a wonderful job on renovating. They even give me a courtesy call when I'm late. I rented a U-Haul moving truck and furniture pads from Security Public Storage. Sao and Sarah provided excellent customer service. The truck and pads were both clean and in great condition.
