Extremely Disappointed -- UPS Store in Hercules…read more This was one of the most disappointing and expensive shipping experiences I've had. Today, I took a 7-pound package to the UPS Store in Hercules to ship to New Jersey using Priority service. I was quoted approximately $350 for shipping. The cardboard box was another $11, plus $4 for packing tape. I decided not to ship it there and took the same 7-pound package to the U.S. Postal Service. For Priority service to the same destination, USPS charged me only $56. $56 compared with $350 is an enormous difference! That is nearly $300 more for essentially the same shipment. Because of this experience, I will not use this UPS location again. I strongly recommend that my neighbors and others in Hercules compare prices with USPS and other shipping services before paying at this location. Very disappointing experience, especially considering how much cheaper the same package was through USPS.

Daniel, the owner was very communicative during the quotation and made himself available for packing consultation leading up to the move. We chose to pack our own boxes, but they can also pack for you. We were lined up with a stellar and reliable move crew (Thank you Jake & David!). The same crew who loaded the truck are the ones who drove up and unloaded to our new home which gave us good peace of mind that there was no change of hands. I was really impressed by OCD's kind and hardworking demeanor. Our furniture was very well padded and packed. The delivery in Portland went great! Everything arrived safely even the most fragile glass and ceramic items made it through the move journey unscathed. Thanks so much for everything OCD, I can't thank you enough! ZippGo moving boxes provided a wonderful service for our move. After seeing some neighbors using a…read morereusable box service, I decided to look into using something similar. ZippGo rents you a certain amount of boxes based on how many rooms/square feet you are moving, and they deliver the boxes to your address, you use them for a move, and they pick them up at the new address. It was easy to schedule and make sure the drop off and pickup worked at an appropriate time. The boxes themselves are sturdy plastic, and the top interlocks so you don't need any packing tape. The boxes fit on top of each other which makes them easy to stack and move. You can also pick box inserts that are designed for plates and glassware which made it so easy to move these items. I would recommend ZippGo in a heartbeat- it made our move faster, easier, and more eco friendly too!

When a week before our move we needed to change a date by two weeks because of construction delays, that was not a problem. When at the last minute we asked if we can add a piano to the list of moved items, that was fine as well. But most importantly was the care the guys took with our items! They wrapped every piece in the soft blanket and added plastic wrapping outside to keep in place. They stacked items in the way that nothing would get damaged. On delivery, they were on time and moved everything to designated rooms and assembled everything we needed! No scratches or damages in the house when moved out or moved in! All the horror stories I heard from friends who have moved before and I was so worried about - not the case with this team! Highly recommend!

They took about 1 hour to move an organized small studio and just under 2 hours to move my lesser organized 1 BR. The bulk our time was spent at our new building which required more travel time between the truck and the unit. These guys were optimal and had excellent strategizing and problem solving across all three buildings (which were all different). They were also thorough in minimizing damage to our belongings via wrapping and care. This team set a new standard for me and I'd hire them again.

Staff usually not friendly, but today was on another level. The guy working Saturday mornings is incredibly unprofessional. I walked in and was ignored. He was talking with someone (another customer? A friend?) and complaining about customers and using a lot of curse words really loudly. All while I was standing there waiting to be helped. He never once acknowledged me. I just had a drop off but needed a receipt, so I just waited. Then someone else came in and I saw them use the kiosk to drop off a labeled package and they got a receipt from the kiosk. So I went over and did the same thing. But at no point did the employee suggest that I could do that, let alone acknowledge my existence. I hate coming here, and will continue to avoid it if I can.

I can't recommend Renzo and his team enough for their patience, knowledge, and assistance in helping with all printing, shipping, and signage needs. From small to large print and shipping jobs, their Team can handle it all! Overall I think FedEx has a great value for the everyday customer. I've always been satisfied with the finished product and/or never had a complaint with any shipping needs. While the center may get crowded from time to time, the Team always handles every customer with diligence and care. They also have space to connect to the WiFi and work/edit/submit all printing jobs, and sell items you may need for the projects at hand..for example, I recently purchased tape and scissors here when I realized I was in a pinch and needed them on-the-go. Appreciate you FedEx for helping with all my professional and personal printing needs throughout the years. Definitely also is a win with coffee next door :)
