I have been using Security Public for about five years. The grounds and buildings are very clean and kept in good order. The staff is universally friendly and helpful. Sometimes they do run out of candy at the counter, but everything works. There is a continuity of staff members; in the time I have been there, the managers and other employees have not changed. Further, their prices are pretty stable. Some companies raise the price every six months, like Price Self-Storage in Orinda, whose prices increases are substantial, and always accompanied by the claim that there costs are increasing. There was a recent price increase at Security, but it was only three dollars. I would strongly recommend that you use Security Public Stoage. read more

Ive stored my thingsjunkandstuff for years now at SPS in Pinole CA & in Richmond, CA. I would't consider storing elswhere mainly because 1.) They have THE FRIENDLIEST AND MOST HELPFUL onsight Managers & staff. But they also have the best security features. The Richmond location,by the Walgreens, on San Pablo Ave. has THE BEST prices ANYWHERE for strong, well made moving boxes and packing supplies: for SM, MED, and LG, I paid $1, $2, and $3 respectively. Tip: Ive found that using more of the small and medium boxes made the job way easier for everyone involved. The boxes from SPS are way better quality and held up much longer than the boxes I purchased from the local Home Depot. read more

We all know that moving is not easy, especially when you use a "trusted" nationwide moving services company to help facilitate a cross country move. Meeting Renee and Felix was a reminder that in times of great need, a well-known company cannot match the smaller companies who show great empathy and heart. I have rented storage units during a time when the management of this facility changed three times. All of the couples that have worked there have been really nice and helpful. The facility is also very secure and clean. I would recommend it highly to anyone. I have even done so for my family members. As a matter of fact, I first became aware of the facility from a family member. In these times, price is also a factor for most things. This is my second time using this facility.. Both times I have chosen units that open directly to the outside, which makes it easier for me to move around. This facility has a great location right off of San Pablo Avenue and Richmond Parkway It's also good to have the signal lights right there so you know you can get safely in & out of the property. Management does there best to help you analyze your needs. Sure hope we can find a place to live soon. It will seem like our belongings are brand new treasures! read more

I have compared places yet I chose to stay with this facility 'cause of what I see as very important is the security and cleanliness that the place really offers to its customers. Outstanding customer service is what stands out the most.
