Great seasoning for the skewer. Although you're probably gonna need to eat about 10 skewers to fill up. This place has a really nice cool vibe, a great place to hang out for drinks. They do have a buffet option for the skewer hot pot, $30 per person.

Food was very good and flavorful. Would recommend for friends to come. Skewers were my favorite.

Wonderful service, everything comes out super fast and it's all delicious! Wasn't too busy, got seated right away. Got to watch the world cup on a large projector too which was a plus!

    Food was super good!!!

This place was awesome. The service was great. I would definitely recommend going here. The skewers were phenomenal and all super tender.

We stopped by on a Saturday around 7 p.m. for a light dinner/snack. Been a few years since I'd last visited. The place was pretty empty at first, which made me a little nervous since I have a lot of good memories here, but it did start to pick up closer to 8 p.m. The space is still very spacious with lots of seating, festive Christmas decorations, and a karaoke stage in the back playing KTV videos for ambiance. We ordered a mix of skewers, a cold dish, and a couple of Sapporos. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes. A few items were out of stock (duck wings, lamb soup). The food paired really well with beer. The 麻辣拌 had a nice numbing kick, the lamb skewers were flavorful, the pork skewers were warm and salty, the squid leg skewers were fun and tasty, and the 苕皮 was spicy but solid. Pro tip: The lamb and pork skewers are currently $1 each if you leave a Google review.

Great food! We ate 24 skewers and all delicious. Service was great always had skewers coming. Ambiance is very calming. With karaoke in the background. Overall enjoyable place to eat skewers on any night.

Got take out tonight from this restaurant. Ordered: Mongolian Beef Stir Fried Shrimp & Broccoli Egg Drop Soup Chicken Wing Skewer On the menu, it says for Mongolian Beef " Served with onions and green onions." As you can see from my photo, there were no green onions, just a lot of white onions. Taste was fine, a bit spicier than most Mongolian Beefs at other places. Sir Fried Shrmip and Broccoli was ok. Small shrimp and broccoli that was overcooked and soft. Chicken Wing Skewer menu says "marinated in secret sauce and charcoal grilled until perfection." As you can see, it wasn't grilled, probably oven baked. The secret sauce was heavy with cumin. Yasye was OK, but not at all crispy. Egg Dop Soup was ok. Good flavor and lots of egg whites. Overall, I give it a C. Despite the name, I will probably not see them again. There are better options in Plano for Americanized Chinese.

Been driving by this place but really never paid attention for what it is. Today is the day that we get to try it. We had Garlic abalone, lamb, beef, pork, chicken heart grilled squid, and shrimp skewer: all of which are seasoned well and cook well. Spicy, flavorful and very flavorful. Service was attentive but not on your face. They will let you know what skewers comes out as most of them look all the same after it's cooked (except for seafood) Will definitely be back to check out the after hours crowd as it look like they do karaoke here after hours.

Food here is amazing. Still the best Chinese skewer place in Dallas! They started selling crawfish and it's super delicious. Spicy and savory. Come soon cause they sell out of the crawfish very fast!

Delicious skewers and worth it for the $1 special price! You can only get this pricing for specific skewers: Lamb Classic Beef Special Pork Special Chicken My favorite is the Classic Beef. It's very seasoned (dry) and the flavor hits immediately when you take a bite. Special Pork has a kick to it! The spice is stinging my tongue a little (in a good way though), so if you don't like spicy, be careful!

Yummy skewers for $1!! Chicken, beef, pork, and lamb!! Garlic cucumbers and fried rice were great side dishes

Very good food and service. The beef skewers and fried rice were very delicious. Our family really enjoyed our meal.

I ordered the beef, special pork skewers & a couple lamb skewers. We ordered noodle dishes too, & it was all amazing. They season their bbq meat super well, I typically bring my own bbq spices too but they did a phenomenal job already. The food was great; service was nice, I'll be back :) I recommend this to everyone! The place was also very warm, and classic! They had karaoke playing as well. 10/10!

We were greeted right away and the restaurant is welcoming with an assortment of booths and some large round tables. The server was friendly and she provided great service throughout our meal. We started with the steamed dumplings which were honestly middle of the road and we the weakest part of our meal. The entrees were uniformly outstanding. We had the Beef Chow Fun which tasted great and was less oily than versions we have had elsewhere. We also had the combination crispy noodles which were well prepared with tender beef and some great shrimp. We capped it off with the General Tso which was delicious. Yes, completely inauthentic but so tasty!! This restaurant is absolutely one of the best Chinese spots in the DFW area. Highly Reccommended!

But the reviews were suspiciously glowing, so curiosity (and hunger) won. We pulled up and I took one look at the building: older, unremarkable, zero curb appeal. Classic "meh." Inside, several large round tables with lazy Susans, red tablecloths, and Chinese lanterns. They first sat us in a booth but I requested later on to be moved to a large round table since we ordered A LOT. But back to when we first sat in the booth - As a Chinese woman, the second I spotted the older seats with ripped upholstery, it hit me like a culinary prophecy: this place was going to serve me some incredible, authentic Chinese food. I don't know what it is, but there's an inverse law of Chinese restaurants: the less fancy the exterior (and the more the booth looks like it's survived several natural disasters), the better the food. Apparently they skip Instagram-worthy renovations and put the budget where it belongs--on the plate! This is now hands down in my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurant in North Dallas - I can even say it's on the very top. I haven't forgotten about the staff. They deserve 10 stars. Super nice!

We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., and surprisingly, we were the only customers there, considering it was peak dinner time. We also discovered that we needed to pre-order the duck in advance. Luckily, the lady informed us that there was one available for us, but it would take about 30 minutes. We ordered the crispy cucumber salad, xiao long bao, and the dry-fried string beans. The dry-fried string beans were my favorite. The string beans had a delightful crisp texture and a flavorful taste. The cucumber salad was also good, but some parts were a bit soggy. The XLB skin was too thick and chewy, and it didn't taste like the usual soup dumplings, which was disappointing. I was excited for the duck, but I was honestly disappointed when it arrived. The portions were quite small, considering it was a whole duck. It wasn't carved tableside, which was a letdown. Some parts of the duck were dry, and the skin wasn't crispy enough. To add to the disappointment, they charge extra for almost everything. If you want more pancakes or their homemade duck sauce (which tasted like black bean sauce), you'll have to pay an additional $5. Another thing to note is that they are BYOB, so you can bring your own alcohol. However, the menu pictures on Yelp are outdated, and they only offer whole Peking duck, not half orders. Overall, the food was just okay, and I'll probably try a different spot when I'm in the mood for duck again.

One of the best preparations yet. The Singapore noodle combo and Xao Long Bao did not disappoint... More importantly, the service we received was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Sadly, the eggplant with garlic sauce is the ONLY reason a star is withheld for this review...it detracted from traditional Chinese style; notes of garlic eviscerated by the chef's sweetening to satisfy an American palette...Why fix something that's unbroken?...I get it. The restaurant has to cater to its customers who populate this mix use (business/lease residential) area at the NW corner of Alma and Hwy 121, but doesn't that limit its draw? Guess we'll just have to head either further south on Central (HWY 75) to the Legacy & Spring Creek areas or further west to the Preston and Warren Pkwy Frisco TX area to satisfy our authentic Chinese cuisine food cravings.
