This is more of a See's SuperStore, aimed at giving price breaks to institutions and qualifying employers. They have the standard selection of See's Chocolates, the difference is they have a lot of it, and and some things (not all) are discounted by a bit. It's a clean store, and the employees still wear those funky cafeteria worker outfits with the black bow tie. Since See's Candies are what they are --the only thing one can do is comment on customer service. You're not going to make See's Candies more European, you won't change the recipes. You want European chocolates go to Godiva, or better yet --go to Europe. So all you can do is talk about the people who work there. Walked in and saw a lady standing in the front part of the store holding a very large, sad looking corrugated brown paper box full of candies to hand out. The bad? That brown, sad corrugated box may BE what See's Candies come in, but if you're going to go out to the sales floor and serve, have the decency to put them into a white glossy box or on a platter. I mean, really, how low class can you get? Then this same dark-haired lady is talking to some young man like he's an idiot -explaining how the prices are marked on the sign --but doing so in such excruciating detail and in a loud voice that she sounded worse than a pre school teacher. Excuse me ma'am, he can probably figure that out. In the meanwhile, people are streaming past her trying to look into this really dodgy brown cardboard box full of chocolates that she's not offering to anyone. She ignored all other customers the entire time I was in there, which was about 15 minutes. He got what he wanted and then rather let him get in line, she has to explain how the LINES work. Lady, he could have figured that out too. In the meanwhile, customers are trying to get candy, and she's ignoring them, taking care of her bear cub instead. The sales staff working the registers seemed to be shorthanded. So while she's playing den mother, their lines are getting longer, and they're scurrying for mass order forms in some sad little file box. All in all, it was clear I wasn't getting out of there any time soon. Rather than let my experience stretch on for another 15 minutes, I decided to drop everything at the front counter and leave. My question is, how does this See's Candies location stay afloat? It's not located in a popular mall like most See's Candies I've seen. Instead, it's located in a random plaza by itself near Anaheim/Fullerton, secluded from restaurants and shopping centers. Welp, my coworkers and I came here to redeem See's Candies gift certificates for a chocolate eating contest... haha. And it's a pretty big store! Def come here if you want to purchase See's Candies as gifts or for yourself. Thing that sucks is that their prices have also gone up since the last time I visited See's Candies! I've noticed that chocolate lovers tend to fall into two basic categories: Those who love See's and those who love Godiva. Personally, I think that See's tends to taste a bit waxier than Godiva, but is about half the price of Godiva. See's has the market cornered on nuts and chews chocolates. No one has the variety that they do. But if you think that what you get in that red gift wrapped box during Christmas time is the best that See's has to offer, you are missing out. Most of their really good chocolates tend to be the ones on display behind the glass counter. But if are the type to go to town on Russel Stover's or Whitman's sampler...I cannot help you. read more

This is suppose to be a discounted store but you have to buy in bulks. Not a problem for me! This location is huge and never crowded which I love. Recommend coming here if it's a last minute gift. This See's is huge and has TONS of product! You definitely don't have to buy bulk - you can pick up one small box of chocolates like you would at any other location (but let's get real - there is no way you are leaving with just one small box of chocolates). Free samples, ladies in the traditional black and white garb - nothing has changed since I first starting eating See's as a child and that is how I like it. Their milk and dark chocolate peppermint patties are the best ever! And I love love love their truffles. FYI - if you work at CSUF, you can score a discount (10% I think) by showing your staff/faculty ID card. One word of warning - do your See's holiday shopping early. This location becomes completely insane the closer it gets to the holidays and customers become outright manic when trying to find a parking space or enter/exit the parking lot. Love this location, especially now that they are so much bigger! Always love a sample, sometimes I score two. At almost 20$/lb, it is quite costly but it is also great. Contrary to what some previous posts stated, See's candy does not use preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. In my opinion, for this price range, this is the best chocolate you can get. For example, a 1 lb box (24 piece) of See's truffles is $20; while a 16 piece box of Vosges truffles will set you back $40. I'll admit, the Vosges chocolate is better, but the See's chocolate is still really good and a fraction of the price. There is a great selection of chocolates. This is a large store that specializes in volume and discounting. Be sure to check if your workplace is included. As well, you can become a member for a charge. I recently came here to buy a couple hundred boxes of candy for a work event. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They were knowledgeable about the merchandise. There were plenty of free samples to go around. During the holiday season, the place is crowded. I avoid the spot the week before Christmas. Came here on V-Day to get chocolates for the lady. All in all, a wide selection of chocolates. They were very tasty. Pre-packed selections are available, but the highlight is the choose-your-own. Customer service here is good - usually. They're always friendly and helpful. Customers get a free chocolate during their visit to the store. This location is quite spacious and there's usually plenty of parking. They get very busy during holidays, but they're still fairly quick to serve everyone. The chocolates are to die for! Being a guy, I have always felt sort of weird buying chocolate candies by the piece. Whenever the mood strikes me, I simply just buy a candy bar from the supermarket. Even back then they supplied everyday Romeos with rewards for their Juliets on V-day. My favorites are the soft center chews, chocolate- dark or light, it don't matter, butterscotch or raspberry truffle? even better- i gobble them down with no hesitation. There is no substitute for See's Candy, so this review is about this particular location. I choose mall locations whenever possible instead of this due to these inconvenient hours and the possibility of a bizzarely-long wait here. It is a good resource and good to visit at least once, but the time to get out the door is hit or miss. Register by the door is for boxed chocolate, and is a separate line if it is staffed. I think all See's are like this, but not everyone knows that if two employees are there they probably don't have to wait in a long line of people thoughtfully picking out individual pieces of chocolate as if they are on holiday, when you just want to grab the boxed chocolate and run. I only come here if I wait too close to a holiday and it suddenly occurs to me that nothing but See's will do for a gift, and I want a theme that might already be depleted at the mall. Tried to call in an order for candy today since they are open from 12pm-5pm for pick-up. The phone number on Google would ring for a few times then hangup on me. We decided to drive to the store where we found a different number posted on the window, this number also just beeped then hung up me. As I am waiting in line to speak to someone, a lady came to pickup her order which she placed on the phone. The manager couldn't find the order and told the lady "It's not my fault. Sorry can't do anything about it". The lady in front of me also could not reach the store by phone so we both tried to explain to the manager what was happening.
