Calabasas Commons are cute - and See's fits right in with the vibe. Stepping in, I felt almost like I was walking back in time. It seemed slower, peaceful. The staff kindly and gently welcomed me in and offered to help me find what I was looking for. I grabbed some lollipops (butterscotch and coffee flavors are the best!) and they also threw in a few samples. One of the shops in Calabasas Commons. Clean, well lit and organized. There's plenty of room to move around too. My client wanted some chocolates before going to Barnes & Noble so decided to come by. Upon entering, you are promptly greeted by an employee and offer you some samples. She asks if you prefer white or dark chocolate. Great!! My client and I had 1 of each. Just purchased a 1 pound pre wrapped hostess gift at See's Candies. This is my favorite candy! I bought soft centers but there are various mixes. Also you can make your own box and select whatever you like from individual candies. They have truffles too and so many interesting flavors! You can't go wrong with See's Candies! The customer service was top. Katie rang me up and was extraordinarily polite and cheerful. They gave me a free chocolate sample too. This store is large and perfectly clean! Stopped by on Sunday March 30, 2025 . Wanted to try a free sample of their Dark Chocolate Almonds . Only one customer service person was there and she was very busy her name is HOMA . She is such an exceptional person. Great customer service, smiling , and suggesting different candy's. This is a great little store located in The Commons - clean, bright, and products are easily visible. It's located in the middle by the Barnes & Noble. I appreciate the kind service and of course the sample's when offered! I grew up on See's and it's always consistent to me - that makes for one happy customer! They have a bunch of ready to grab assorted boxes and candies, which makes for quick visits when needed. During the holiday's you can find holiday boxes as well which make perfect gifts for friends, family, colleagues or bosses. I'm a fan of pretty much everything See's has to offer, especially anything in the milk chocolate category; I just don't favor anything in the cream category such as the strawberry cream, orange cream or anything similar, but hey if that's your cup of tea I won't judge you...too much. Some of the chocolate candies come in the same form but just in another variation of chocolate type. Some of my favorites are, but not limited to: milk almond, milk California brittle, P-nut crunch, and any variation of the molasses chip. Prices are reasonable and you are paying for a premium product. Parking is plenty but of course depending on the times can be a challenge. read more

It is what it has been for decades. A particular smell and flavor and that custom shade of white and black tile. Feels like walking into the 50s. If you're not familiar, the selection takes some exploration. Not every taste is for everyone and their truffles aren't like hipster truffles. Some flavors might be weird but they are all classic. In particular, it's hard to go wrong with "nuts and chews" (mostly caramels), "scotchmallows" (caramel marshmallow), and toffee. Their molasses chips are unique and worth trying. I think the dark chocolate is better, the milk has an odd slant but it often works. Then see your dentist immediately. read more

Placed an order at 9:00am for pickup later in the day. Everything noted that we would be notified when ready to pickup. By 6:00, when no confirmation, decided to call the store only to be told that one if the 2 items was not available, so they canceled the order with NO follow-up in doing so. First person had a "too bad-so sad" for you tone in her voice Called back asking for a store manager and was told one was not available and hung up. In times, when soo many brick and motor stores are struggling, you would hope that stressing customer service should be top of mind, but is not the case at this location. read more

This is a great little See's Candies located at The Commons in Calabasas. It is a fairly new location, just opening in November 2017. If you like See's Candies, then you know it is good. My favorites are the California Brittle and the Marzipan, but really I have not found a piece of See's that I don't like. :) It is a smallish store, but they have everything you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They are always well stocked up on the See's favorites. I love this location. Parking can be a challenge since it gets busy here at The Commons. read more

Today 11/18/17 is the grand opening. Store is between Barnes and Noble and Paper Source. It's the standard See's Candy layout for the store, but it's nice, new, and shiny. I'm not much of a chocolate or sweets guy so I didn't try or buy anything. It's a nice addition to the stores here. Might hit this place up for Christmas gifts for people in the office. read more

I love Sees's candy. Their staff is always so kind. The girl who helped us was so knowledgeable and friendly. We were on our way out the door when she mentioned our samples, how we ourselves almost forgot that I don't know, but the sample are so nice in the individual wrapping. We picked up some chocolates but noticed their adorable Halloween offerings and couldn't resist these cool lollipop holders! My Sunday school kids will love these. read more

Really unfortunate experience, I've never had this issue with a sees location. Came in with my daughter to get Valentines chocolate gifts. 6 employees and I was the only customer that was in there. Stood there waiting while they busied themselves ignoring me. Then one of the employees notices and calls out the girl at the counter and she finally looks up like "oh I didn't see you." Really? I've been standing here like 4-5 minutes at the counter. Several people came in after me and were immediately attended to. Then she packs up my order but "forgot" to give the samples my daughters been waiting for. Paid over $150 and got an "I'm sorry, you'll have to stand in line again due to covid" when she could've easily stepped back and gotten the sample. The girl at the check out couldn't figure out pricing on the heart box, took so long to check out. Like just complete incompetence. I'll go to a different location in the future. I love See's candy! And I love how convenient the Calabasas shop is! I frequent this center often and I always love popping into this store. It's always clean and perfectly kept and the ladies are always so welcoming and sweet! I shopped for my v- day stuff weeks ago, (as I know how crazy it gets right before with last minute shopping) but I needed a few things today and Shari and Anika took care of me.
