The new See's location is open at South Coast, tell a friend! Before this, you had to trudge all the way to the other side of the mall on Bear Street for your candy fix. Now, the Bristol side of the mall has a new location, complete with a chocolate bar. Love it! I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. The staff were welcoming and friendly and greeted us with free samples. I got my classic bridge mix but there's so many options here, including lots of fun fall treats. Will absolutely be back!

Who doesn't like See's Candies? Not me! Yes, I love See's and always stop by this store when I'm at the mall. See's has actually been moving around quite a bit the last few years in this mall, South Coast Plaza. But I always find them. :) This current store is much smaller than the other ones in the past and they do not have the counter with all the cases that you can actually select your own pieces if you like a variety. However, the store is super clean and very organized. My favorites are the truffles and also the dark chocolate scotchmallows. So smooth and rich. So yummy.

I have honestly enjoyed See's Candies chocolates and lollipops ever since I was a kid. There's such a large assortment, but I've definitely developed my favorites over the years. The price point has always been great, but it does get a bit more pricier if your aim is to purchase a gift box. However, they do have great gift options that I'd recommend for any special occasion as their themes tend to match the seasons very well. For these reasons, every star I've given in favor is certainly deserved. I've been to several locations, busy or not, and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the service at this location was not the best as we felt quite unwelcome. I entered this location at a busy time, with a line of at 5-7 people. Waiting was no problem. But as soon as it was our turn, I and a friend were very rushed to figure out what we wanted to order despite groups prior being able to explore the options for a few minutes before deciding. We were hurriedly handed samples without getting to process what we just tried. We quickly chose something without any help which was unfortunate. Stopping by See's Candies is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to, but I was disappointed today. Perhaps it was on off day since I've never felt this unwelcome at a See's before.

I came here recently to buy candy for some gift bags I was making and found the most delicious 4th of July themed candy. This See's location had such a great selection that I was able to stock up on some wonderful candy for both my family and friends. Besides the cute 4th of July themed boxes with milk chocolate candy, they also had chocolate stars wrapped in red, white, and blue foil. I couldn't wait to make those holiday themed gift bags. I also bought some sugar-free peanut brittle, dark chocolate with walnuts, and milk chocolate bars for my diabetic friends. I even found some great candy for my hubby and son, both of whom are really picky about what they like. The service has always been good at each See's location I've ever been to, and this location is no exception. They offered us free samples as we shopped and also grabbed us a basket when our hands were full. The employees were really helpful here. For a great selection of candy and wonderful chocolate, this is the perfect place to satisfy those sugar cravings while shopping at SCP!

Found a hair in our Mayfair egg

Grossest thing I've seen in a long time - a hair in out Mayfair egg . At least I won't be gorging on Easter candy anymore!

    My favorite chocolates !

I went to See's Candy store after I got off work. I was assisted by Ana very helpful in every way. Actually everyone has been pleasant and even the customers. Ana helped me get 50 chocolate cigars for baby shower and had great ideas of what else I do for the drive by baby shower . I ended up buying 90 candy suckers too. There was not enough of the chocolate cigars and Ana took my information down and ordered more for me and was able to also speak to Martha the Manager she made sure to get the needed number of chocolate cigars for me as well. The See's Candy store was busy because of Mother's Day coming up but Ana was fast, helpful and efficient. The chocolate are super sweet, just like Ana & Martha that makes you want to come back for more and believe me I'm coming back for more.

It is not a place I would go to often, but it is adorable and worth a visit. We had a great time there, just looking at all the stuff. This shop is very nicely organized and aesthetic, however, the lady at the cash register who might be the owner did not greet us or anything, and seemed very bothered by us just walking in. There are some colorful crates in the back part of the store that my friend wanted to take pictures with, so I asked the cashier first if it would be okay to do so, since I had noticed that she already looked upset, and she said "yes and thank you for asking first since some people don't even ask" and I had also purchased a $40 hat prior to asking. I take a few pictures of my friend and as we're looking at them some customers walk in and are taking a look around and we scooted to the corner so they can shop. As soon as they left the cashier comes up to us with so much attitude saying "you guys need to get out when customers come in, if you guys are doing this they can't shop." when we literally were no where in the way of the customers. The last thing my friend and I wanted was to make her upset, which is why we asked permission first and purchased an item so we could stay longer in the store. But, the lack of customer service and passive aggressive tone was what makes us not want to shop here anymore. A simple "if customers come in I would appreciate if you guys step aside for them to shop" (which we did either way) in the beginning when I first asked for permission would've been nice instead of telling us to "get out" after I had already purchased something.

This flagship brick-and-mortar location first opened in 2016 and M.Lovewell used to have a mini location inside Contra Coffee + Tea in Old Towne Orange (now closed). At the end of each July, the store offers Anniversary Weekend sales with an additional 20% off most items. [Parking]: There is a parking structure across the street for 4th Street Market. I had no issue finding free street parking in this part of town on Sunday afternoon. [Selection]: There was a tote-making station for a $25 DIY tote (choose a tote color and one patch, tell the staff where you want it, and the staff will iron it on for you) and Build a Washi Tin for $44 (limited-edition 10-year washi tin and choose eight washi tapes to fit inside the tin). I was quite impressed with the cute stationery selection including planners, pens (Tombow ABT PRO Alcohol Markers + Zebra's MILDLINER) from brands like Sarasa, Penco, Zebra, Mono, and Uni-ball, writing paper (MD Paper), cases and pouches from The Superior Labor, greeting cards, stickers, stamps, watercolor boards, Toyo toolboxes, etc. They even offer really fancy pens from brands like OHTO as well as $200+ fountain pens and inks for fountain pens. They have tester pens for customers to try out. On their website, customers can preorder The Hobonichi Techo for new releases for the upcoming year. [Conclusion]: Overall this shop focuses more on Japanese stationery brands (they do not sell MUJI here) and personally this is one of the best pure stationery shops in Orange County. I like this store much better than places like Shorthand, Baum-kuchen, or The Social Type in Los Angeles.
