It was so hot the day we went to Costa Mesa. We saw a Baskin and Robbins and were in heaven. Parking was so easy in their nice clean and safe lot. The place inside and out was ever so clean. They all have a great selection and they love to add new things, especially for kids. My favorite is their World Class Chocolate and they always have it. My grandson loves the more kid flavors and this month they have some purple thing that he just loved. You can eat there if you want or take it to go. They also sell pints and ice cream cakes which are always great. They have some there or you can special order. The place is just adorable and it is cool inside. The service is fast and very nice. She's genuinely one of the sweetest people I've talked to in a long time, truly someone who needs to be protected at all costs! We usually stick with milkshakes, but this time we switched it up and got a Banana Split and a Root Beer Float, both were amazing! Also, major shout-out for the remodel. The inside looks so much better now! The fridge used to block the front window, but with it moved to the back, sunlight pours in and the whole space feels open and airy. The customer service is a little sketchy but besides that a great experience. They fill my scoop perfectly and the cookie monster flavorful is delicious. They just didn't acknowledge my presence for quite some time. Someone was ahead of me with a huge, never ending order. I come here about 3 times a week. 1. - I use it as an excuse to get out of the house during quarantine and 2. - for the Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! As a non-dairy eater, I'm stoked that BR is offering that AND the Coffee Caramel Chunk! YASSSSS!!!!!! The store is average-sized, with several tables that can accommodate couples or small families. (They've since been removed to accommodate social distancing.) There is one fridge for bottled drinks and two freezers hold cakes and pre-packed quarts. (Imagine my surprise when I found a trove of non-dairy Chocolate Extremes!) The associates are usually teens - or are they older (?) - It sucks getting old! They're all super nice. They need to clean the scanner though. I always have trouble paying with the mobile app. Only there though... I use mobile pay everywhere and you should too, kids! Always tip in cash and WEAR. A. Who doesn't love ice cream? For as long as I can remember Baskin-Robbins or "31 Flavors" (how it's referred by my guy) has been an infrequent stop for some super delicious ice cream treats. Doesn't matter what we're doing, where we are or the city we're in, my guy knows where each and every 31 Flavors is located. It's like he has built in BR-dar! Whatever it is, I usually get a chuckle every time we stray off the path so he can get a fix....a fix of the ice cream sort is a-okay with me. Truth is by the time he seeks his ice cream reward, I'm usually too full for the frozen treat - unless German Chocolate Cake ice cream is in the case. If so, I'll get a scoop and enjoy every delectable bite. GCC is seasonal, so when I find it it's almost mandatory I get a pint or quart if I'm close to home; a scoop if not. Another fav is a chocolate shake made with of course Chocolate Fudge ice cream. If you like/love chocolate bypass regular chocolate ice cream and go for the decadent and rich Chocolate Fudge - it's some just this side of heaven. Happy we don't live super close to any 31 Flavors location...but thrilled we're only a drive away from a scoop, pint, quart or other tasty frozen treat. read more

We had a huge order on the spot so we were extremely understanding and patient with the staff for accommodating us. Our order consisted of 15+ milkshakes and two cakes from the freezer. The shakes came out in a consistent and timely matter. Since this was a big order, we tried to make the shakes as simple as possible with majority of the shakes cookies and crème flavor. There were a couple of other shakes that were other flavors and wish they were labeled somehow to differentiate them. Also, since this was a large order, we asked for a bag or some sort of container to hold all of the shakes. The one worker we asked gave us a bit hostile answer with an attitude and said that they did not have any bags available for us. We asked again if there was any sort of container or bag to put the shakes in and he replied with the same tone of voice. Yes, we did have a big order that could have been overwhelming, however I do not believe we deserved his attitude and hostility. Luckily, another worker was nice enough to check in the back for drink holders and sure enough, she came out with lots of extras. On top of that, we saw the hostile worker give another customer bags to put their cakes in, which confused us. Overall, the milkshakes were good and we greatly appreciated Baskin Robbins for accommodating our order. read more

Bring a scale, or watch them pack you containers. Yesterday my wife, against my wishes, placed a large order to be delivered. For the third time in a row we received half filled quarts. This make it three out of four orders we got ripped off. Luckily the delivery company saw this and refunded most of the money. Like I mentioned, this is the third time in a row and I will not let anyone in the family to go there in the future. You pay $100 in ice cream you would want close to the correct amount. She did not give me a choice of card designs, even though there were a whole stack of them there and she leafed through them herself, and she also did not tell me in advance that they did not have any envelopes. But the worst part is at the gift cards were dirty! They had fingerprints and smudges all over them! It is a little embarrassing to get someone a dirty gift card. It looks like you have been carrying it around in your purse for a while and have re- gifted it to them. And I wanted to check the balances before I gave the cards away because it is embarrassing to give someone a car that is not been properly activated. But you cannot check a gift card balance without scratching off the covering over the pin which I did not want to do. And when you call the call center for help they want to collect all of your information before they will even listen to your question. They want your first and last name, email address, and your phone number Before they will even listen to your question. I did not want to provide that much information and ended up having to hang up. All in all, a very negative experience. read more
