I rarely give out 5 stars but this See's Candies location deserves it. The chocolate selection is always great and the entire store is clean and well-maintained, as expected, but what really pushes this store to the next level are the wonderful employees. They are soooooo nice it's almost unreal. I have almost never felt as welcome anywhere as I do when I walk into this See's location. Two thumbs up! read more

i absolutely love the ladies who work here. i don't know their names but i've been into the store three different times and every time was such a lovely experience. i honestly come back because of how awesome and helpful they are. they make you feel cared for and have such positive attitudes. you just can't find too many customer service models like this anymore so for that i thank you. will be back for more soon! read more

My hubby and I went to Sees candy today to pick up a small gift for my elderly Mom. We walked in and the female employee (sorry did not get her name) was working solo. There were two women in front of us picking up a few pieces as a treat. The female employee was so polite to the ladies and it was obvious the ladies were regulars. The place suddenly got busy and the female employee continued her one on one personal customer service. I had told her it was meant to cheer my mom up and She asked me if she could wrap it for her even though she was suddenly busy. It's amazing what a piece of chocolate could do to cheer people up. My mom is 89 years old with medical issues and is afraid to come out in public due to the pandemic. Sees candies make her smile.. I just had the worse experience! Went in for a piece of chocolate while I am waiting on a car and I was in line for 20 minutes for the ladies to overlook me & go onto the next guest!! I said, "Wow! I've been waiting almost 30 minutes"! And she NEVER looked my way!! I walked out & said something to the cashier who did not respond to me as well! Sees Candies is always spot on with their chocolate, but that's not why I'm leaving this review. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and heard. I had a lot of questions and took a long time with my payment methods (due to multiple gift cards), and Emmilee, one of the employees, was so kind and patient to me. Who can go wrong with chocolate? This story is small compared to most but the staff is super sweet (like their products) and I even got to sample the Apple Pie Truffle (YUM!). This location is in a busy plaza so parking can be a bit of a nightmare. However, once you are able to make your way there, there is plenty to choose from. Right now, they are giving away free Sugar Free chocolate bars with your purchase so buy something for yourself and give the gift of chocolate to the diabetic in your life! read more

I want to give a shout out to the gals at See's Glendora. They are so kind and professional Casey and Dianna are so helpful. I have been going there since it was opened and they always go the extra mile. My mom was a good customer until Alzheimer's took over and they always were extra patient with her. They even knew her order when she didn't remember. I know the last couple holidays were hectic with customers having to line up and wait and some people got mad but it was not their fault they do their very best to accommodate all of us. Took a trip here on Father's Day, and staff seemed to have everything under control! The store was clean, and employees were friendly. Matthew packaged my candies for me, and he was just so sweet! Gave me the time of day, answered all my questions, smiled the entire time, entertained my infant, gift wrapped nicely, and in general, he just rocks at his job! Sees has excellent chocolates, they are my favorite. The service is always friendly, and the employees are patient while I make my choices. Complaint on business practice. I had a giftcard for one pound out and went to hand to saleswoman. She said, no hold onto it till later. In my decision making I left it on the counter, a huge mistake, as when I looked for it, it was gone, apparently stolen by another customer. My faulr for not holding it, but she saw it. Her refusal to take the card when I gave it to her resulted in my loss. If she had taken it when presented, I would have had no problem. Won't go back or buy from this store again. Thieves and why won't they take a gift card when you hand it to them. read more

This is a great See's store, tucked away in the shopping center on the corner of Lone Hill and Alosta. The employees are sweet, unhurried and generous, often giving more than one sample, especially if you haven't tried a flavor before. I visit this See's location occasionally when I am in the mood for chocolate and I happen to be in the area. Today was one of those days. I came in around 1pm and found 2 employees working behind the counter. Like other see's, the store had the wonderful aroma of chocolate, but this time they had their easter chocolate in stock. The store Is also always clean. I only came for a few pieces of chocolate, so I went straight to the counter. One of the employees, Stacey, immediately said hello and offered me a sample of chocolate. She knew exactly where everything was and got all my chocolate really fast. This was a better experience than other times I've been at See's. Stacey had terrific customer service skills, and in my opinion, that's what makes a great business worthy of people's support. I always get the dark rasperry cremes (my favorite) and some milk molasses chips, buttermilk bourdou, and milk buttercream. read more
