She stopped mopping and then funny, a customer came in behind me and started shopping, then another customer came in asking her what time she closed and he said he'd be right back. What's the moral of the this story? I don't know, maybe how to keep your customer from slipping?

Regardless of service, I will never get sick of World Market and all of their amazing home finds! I always wait for the sales they have going on throughout the year to snag items at a discounted price. While I was there, I overheard an employee asking another employee to pay out-of-pocket to ship an entire box of the viral mystery dumplings to someone. That caught my attention because, to my understanding, online orders typically aren't shipped directly from the store or paid for by employees themselves. Out of curiosity, I asked if they currently had any of those items available, and I was told they did not. However, it didn't seem like they made any effort to check, which added to the confusion. Given what I had just seen, the situation felt a bit odd and somewhat inconsistent. I just wanted to share this observation, as it didn't seem like a typical or standard process.
