A6. Kimchi Jeon (2 Pieces) and Pajeon (2 Pieces) SO GOOD.

Located in Seneca, SC, in a small strip mall called Eagle Plaza is a good Korean restaurant. The staff was very friendly. The young lady who took our order kindly and enthusiastically answered all my questions. She checked on us numerous times throughout the meal. We couldn't make up our mind on what to order so decided to splurge since it was our lunch date. For appetizers we had Mandi and an order of Kimchi Jeon and Pajeon. The latter was delicious. I would definitely order that again. We both ordered the Beef Bulgogi Dub Bob off the lunch special menu. I also ordered 1/2 KFC chicken (original). The chicken tasted like any other fried chicken so I wouldn't order it again unless I had a hankering for fried chicken. The beef bulgogi bowl was really good...a HUGE portion of rice, and meat and it also came with a bowl of chicken bone soup, japchae, veggies, and a fried egg. I'd definitely order that again. I want to try several other things on their menu so I think there will be a return trip in the future.

I made a meal out of their vegetable pancakes, their fried seaweed roll with glass noodles, and the glass noodle appetizer.

I was craving Thai food, maybe Japanese, I didn't know there was Korean food in my area until I googled it. This meal was absolutely fantastic although my meal comprised of three appetizers. Everything was fresh and exceptional in quality. the glass noodles, whether in a bowl or in a seaweed roll, the glass noodles were perfect texture and flavor. The server was exceptional, his food knowledge was refreshing, only to find out my server was the owner, when I went to pay my bill the gentleman at the front desk informed me that the owner was serving tonight. So much to be proud of, great quality, and great ambience. If I could give it an extra star I would.

4 star because very few restaurants earn the 5 from me and I have to maintain MY credibility. Also, having been here 3 times and ordering the same thing (more on that later) leaves room for improvement as I explore more parts of the menu. That's the "why" behind the 4. Here's why I've been back here 3 times in 2 weeks and ordered the Yangnyeom Chicken (boneless) and Shrimp Fried Rice. Let's start with this AMAZING chicken. Spicy, sweet, crunchy and unique. Nothing like it around. Granted, I'm no expert on Korean food. My experience limited to several meals of varying quality (from meh to excellent) at various Korean BBQ places. (BTW, a GREAT Korean BBQ place is in Duluth, GA so look for a review from me on that one later). I'm not the most adventurous eater so I went with what looked familiar. Let's just say that the chicken is one of the best things I've eaten at any restaurant in the area...including Greenville. Cooked perfectly, just the right balance of sweet and heat and a great ratio of breading to chicken. So flavorful I found myself craving it only a few days after my initial visit. The best news, with the huge portion I was able to take a bunch of both rice and chicken home to enjoy the next couple days. The fried rice was solid with a good amount of shrimp pieces. I can't guarantee when I'll come in here and order something else. That chicken and fried rice is THAT good. But if the rest of the menu comes even close to my experiences already, I'm in for a treat. So are you. Give Seoul Food a try. (Remember to ask for the homemade soy sauce)

A delicious addition to Seneca with a unique variety of food on the menu. Staff is great at explaining anything that you may have questions on. I have been here a handful of times & have always found the food and service to be great! We try to try something different on the menu each time & I have continued to be impressed with each dish.

So portion to cost to value, you're getting a good deal in this economy--- especially all the way out here; this is like what Palm Dale would be to Orange Country California. Ordered the soon Dobu, beef, it came with 4 sides of Banchan which aside from the soybean kimchi, were all pretty mediocre. Ordered a LA Kalbi, a little on the sweeter side, but not complaining, it was charred, crispy and well marinated. I downed everything in a matter of minutes. So, I was trapped in my big rig for 30+ hours the previous two days whilst getting screwed over by my broker delivering a load to Ahold Delhaize in South Carolina. **Never Again :) . ADUSA is the worse grocery foods company and publicly listed company in Europe...period. I left them a one star on Google. Good. Got that off my chest. As I was saying, dropped in here after spending the morning fixing my rig. And as a reward for getting my supply air hose back in running shape. I found this hole in the wall in Commerce Georgia. There was no one here, except me myself and I. And being the curious me, I started chatting with the female manager who turned out to speak Mandrin. It turns out in the recent slew of events this restaurant is located in close proximity to Korean Giant, SK Batteries. Yes... that company that partnered with the other giant which was raided by the likes of ICE in the recent anti immigration crackdown. No wonder there was no one here ...All the Koreans vanished. Bummer. All in all, the truck stop next door is pretty blessed to be located in such a prime location with food offerings other than burgers. So I vow the next time I truck through here, I will come back and order their Kimchi Pancakes and Kimchi Fries Rice..and maybe their spicy Teobukki..however way you spell that word.

Seoul Garden is one of the good local places. The menu here is vast. There are many food items here with which I am not familiar. On this trip I was looking for lunch so I tried the lunch special. Ok let me back up here, to order you need to use the touch screen at the table. The woman who served us explained it to us. This is not a bad idea, you can be sure that your order is correct. I ordered some spicy chicken with fried rice. Before the main though our host provided us with an array of mini appetizers. There were all good but that marinated tofu was exceptionally flavorful! The chicken main dish was pretty good as was the fried rice. And the whole meal was only about $12. This is exceptional value and I will be back, hop to se you there.
