That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

The sides are wonderful as well. The service is as good as the food. The staff is so friendly and kind here, that alone makes me want to go back - not only that but the inside feels like you're actually in South Korea. It feels very authentic and nice. For BBQ alone, I personally think there are better values elsewhere. That said, the hot pot is where this place really shines. The setup is great, the vegetables are fresh, there are plenty of options to choose from, and it's an excellent value for what you get. The quality of the ingredients and the overall experience make it an easy place to recommend. I'll definitely be back for the hot pot!
