Was supposed to be a steak quesadilla with rice.

I used to be a regular. I order the same thing every time, steak quesadilla with rice. Over time they stopped putting as much steak in my orders. Last few months they've been making my order wrong. I called to make a complaint and got voicemail. I was a lil mad, who wouldn't be when your orders been consistently made wrong? Big husky guy (manager on his laptop in an empty store) ignored me when i asked for my order for a few minutes before calling for the employee in the back who didn't want come give me my order. Dude finally gets up and gives it to me. Let me know why my steak quesadilla came full of just rice instead. The male staff here has always been unfriendly. I admit i don't come off as the friendliest guy but that doesn't mean you can mess with the food i pay for and not give me the right order consistently for months. Coupled with the fact that they didn't even want to acknowledge me it seems like they've been making my food wrong on purpose for a long time. Never patronizing a Seoul Taco again. Makes me wonder if they're that blatant to mess with my food, how else they've messed with my food in ways i haven't noticed or if some of those guys have messed with other customers orders that they don't like.

Chips and queso Combo Tacos (Bulgogi Steak, Chicken, Spicy Pork)

My husband and I came here before our date night to the Vic Theatre. We had the combo tacos and the chips with queso to share as weren't as hungry but wanted to grab a bite before the show. The restaurant was quiet as we were the only ones there but it was quite busy for online orders. I hadn't been here in over 5 years and it is just as I remembered it. The meat for all the tacos were tasteful and filling. There was a lot mix greens in top but didn't mind it as I was able to add it to my chips with queso to get the overflow meat that had fallen. Would come back to try other items on the menu!

First time Seoul taco and I liked it a lot. Service was fast and friendly and the menu is pretty accomplished to different dietary needs and restrictions. The interior is pretty cool with some great art and style like wallpaper of a city scene in Seoul, Korea and an awesome mural on the exterior with some new colorful window tints to make it eye catching. Our neighbor has a pretty diverse range of cuisine but it's light on Korean food so it's great to see some of the flavors in a fusion presentation. I had the taco sampler with beef bulgogi, chicken and spicy pork. They had some great flavor contrast. Topped a tasty vinegarette and kimchi flavors, I added Gochujang to kick it up with a bit of spice and it really hit the spot. My wife had the Gogi bowl which was well proportioned and looked pretty delicious. I had a similar flavor palette with heaps of veggies and rice. The veggie option has two sunny eggs and it just reminds me of a bowl I'd get in Hawaii. Definitely check it out, both dishes mentioned are a great place to start.

For Sunday brunch, we decided to come to Seoul Taco. Glad to see that Seoul Taco opened up. Even though Seoul Taco offered a smaller menu, the food tasted fresh. I ordered the Gogi Bowl. It came with carrots, green onions, mixed salad greens, and sesame sauce. The vegetables laid on top of a white bed of rice. I requested the kitchen staff to place the gochujang sauce to the side. Joseph orders the Three tacos with beef. Located at the left side of the restaurant, the counter looked very clean. After ordering, we waited only 5 minutes for our food. Talk about fast service! I felt proud to see an all female staff on board on a Sunday. This made a difference for me. With the contemporary music hitting the air waves, I thought Seoul Taco could double as a karaoke bar. That would be fabulous! Come to Seoul Taco. Bring friends, family or being a date. I highly recommend this place.

Very solid experience! I am generally skeptical of fusions (most of them just don't cut it at risk of sounding pretentious) but this one works splendidly. I ordered a chicken burrito, pic included. This has a mild amount of spice, so it should be accessible for those who don't love tremendously spicy food. The flavors are an intriguing blend of Mexican and Korean spices on tender, pleasantly grilled chicken layered on what I think was sticky rice but with Mexican hints. It's also reasonably priced for a quick lunch. If you're near a Seoul Taco and want something other than a salad or sandwich, give this a try.

Good food and fun fusions. It's a pretty standard quick service vibe when you go in, don't let the weird glass windows prevent you from trying. Service was fast and efficient.

Has potential. I think opening day was yesterday or the day before so consider that context when reading this review. I was excited and watching for this opening in the former Big and Littles space on Belmont (see note above re: timing of visit). Ultimately my vote is "okay" though still very early days. The place has been rebranded but otherwise feels very much like the last spot. And frankly, pretty sticky for a brand new spot. There are bumps which could be helped by an experienced manager or excitement by the ciunter team. Heavy things are still being moved into place and seemingly knocked around jisr out of eyesight. Trash is brought from the kitchen, across the dining spaces through the front door and to the alley. There is no branding - or more importantly handles - on the to-go bags. I'm sure those items will be sorted. Food took just under 15 minutes, though I will note only one other couple was eating in the restaurant, nobody else came in, and phone/online orders seemed not to be turned on. So don't count on me here. I was surprised how greasy/fried everything was. Yes, I understand the cuisine but somehow I expected a bit lighter. Still working on cook times but flavors were there. Tofu taco, fabulous. Sweet potato fries overcooked. Tortilla chips undercooked. Quesadilla solid. Elote quesadilla a but too much. Totally reasonable value for the pricing. Would try again in a few weeks. Good luck to a new neighborhood spot!

4.5 stars in reality…read more Tried the vegan/vegetarian mushroom japchae. The portion size was gigantic, but the japchae itself consisted mostly of vegetables (carrots, onions, bokchoy, and of course mushrooms) so it was easy enough to finish the portion in one sitting. Despite its size, the dish was extremely light and flavourful and I had enough room for cheesecake at a neighbouring establishment. My friend ordered the pork bento box, and though I don't eat meat, the arrangement and plating of the food was a beautiful visual spectacle. We shared the spiced fries that came with a creamy aioli dip - the fries were perfectly spiced but perhaps not unique to this restaurant in terms of quality and flavour. There were many dishes on the menu that looked like they were veganizable, so I will definitely try them when I return. The ambience was unremarkable, though the restaurant was very clean. You need to order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The servers were very polite. The food is on the pricier end in the context of a somewhat characterless ambience and the fact that you need to order at the counter. My friend and I travelled for nearly an hour to get to this restaurant, and were quite pleased on the whole. We will definitely be back, and I look forward to trying more vegan/vegetarian options!

To be honest, I probably wouldn't get the tacos again, and definitely make sure you read the size description for the Kimchi as it is quite small lol, but the K-Town Wings were some of the best wings I've had in the city! The inside is cute and quaint. Service is very straightforward and efficient, which is always a plus for a counter serve spot!

We had the chicken lumpia, first which were long not like the normal finger length I'm used to. Lots of tender meat inside. Wow. Then had the lechon kawaii, deep fried sea bass and the pancit with rice noodles. We were knocked out by the presentation of the sea bass. OMG it was perfectly crispy, The flavors were clean and fresh. Definitely a must order. The pork belly was also perfectly cooked. The pancit loaded with chicken and veggies. This is a must return place. THe inside was cozy and not noisy. We could talk without shouting.

We've said to ourselves over and over, we have to try Kubo! We finally decided to go in for lunch on a cold Sunday (3/22) and we had the most wonderful meal. The space was clean, welcoming, and lively with other diners. There's plenty of seating and although I usually highly dislike high top seating, their bar seating was incredibly comfortable. We ordered the chicken eggrolls and two orders of the chicken adobo. All of our food came out very fast, and we had very attentive service. March Madness is currently going on and was playing in the restaurant. We are basketball fans so this was a plus, and we were asked if the game that was currently on was our preferred game to watch, which was very thoughtful. The food was incredible. The eggrolls were incredibly flavorful and the chicken in the chicken adobo fell off the bone easily. The sauce on the chicken was delicious and it mixed so well with the garlic rice. We cannot wait to bring friends and family to this restaurant in the future. The hot food made us feel so whole on a cold and extremely windy day. In the summer, I cannot wait to sit on their spacious, covered patio. Thank you Kubo for a wonderful experience!
