So I'm a total makeup NOVICE - mid-30s and have never learned how to put on makeup properly...whenever I have a special occasion I usually get my go-to girl to do my makeup for me. Sadly for an upcoming wedding, she was booked but I asked her to give me the deets on some good products to get. I usually go for drugstore makeup but today I felt like treating myself to the good stuff. Went in during my lunch hour on a Thursday and was immediately greeted by a few people. Looked around, obviously got super overwhelmed and a few came to my help. I ended up going for Christian, based on his on-fleek eyebrows alone. Long story short I gave him the low-down on how clueless I am with makeup and within 30 min, I was out the door with the essentials, custom for my skintone and preferences: A good foundation, good eyebrow products, and a great lipstick. I am obsessed with good eyebrows, yet sadly I can never accomplish the perfect look. He gave me a quick tutorial and I'm so happy with how pulled together I look. Hopefully I can recreate this look when I go home but I'm happy that I came out having a bit more makeup knowledge than I did yesterday. read more

I originally just came in to this Sephora to see what new makeup products they might have and ended up being helped by a woman by the name of Vicky. She was absolutely amazing!!!! She is so knowledgeable, informative, patient, professional, etc. the list goes on. I'm not sure of her job title or pay scale but she definitely deserves a raise and promotion. Vicky is a great asset to this company I hope they are aware, even one of her co-workers informed me I was in good hands. I haven't had GREAT customer service like that in awhile. Went into this sephora today to buy some lotion and so I asked someone for help she helped me but she was rude about it. I ended up buying something anyway and I went to the register to pay the girl was friendly but then I had mentioned an email I received regarding a free gift (I got this email this morning) the girl had no idea what I was talking about I should her my email on my phone so she asked another girl she as well had no clue and then tried to tell me it was an old promotion that ended but they were still puzzled and asked another girl and they still had no idea, while they still tried to tell me that's an old promotion and talked about me like was crazy and if I wasn't there till they figured it out and said oh is this what your talking about?? Just rude completely rude!! Going to this sephora and asking for help gets you nowhere but rude and sarcastic remarks so I never ask for it unless I truly need it... Customer service is not practiced. read more

Smaller Sephora store, but the staff there is generally helpful and willing to talk. The only small complaint I have is when being helped by the staff, if I have already prefaced that I do not want to look at skin creams because I have highly sensitive skin, please do not continue to push the product on me! I do not think your products are poorly made or too expensive, they just do not work for me, nor have they ever worked for me. My skin is too sensitive and I already have a regime that I have to follow strictly as to not irritate it. But other than that, the staff is always happy to answer my questions, as long as I have control over the flow of the conversation pertaining to the specific product I need, most of my experiences here have been positive. read more

I stopped real quick at this Sephora and this young lady named Star helped me. She colored matched me and was so quick to help me. I noticed her also helping another customer while helping me. She kept checking up on me. Unlike other Sephora employees she actually had a conversation with me, as if she was a friend. Shout out to Star, more employees need to be like you. read more

Now, I walked in this Sephora for a quick foundation sample and let me tell you............. the service was blasphemous. I approached a worker who was doing damn near nothing but standing there in the front taking up space (a good amount of it may I add), and once I asked her for help she quickly turned around and pretended to be doing something. Strike one. I then approached another woman, a ginger with red hair and this woman must've had the IQ of a pencil because she stood there looking at me like I asked her what Einsteins purpose was in the World. FOUN-DA-TION I said, SAM-PLE, I said. Didn't click for this woman so I walked away. Strike 2. Then I had the pleasure of meeting her at the cash register when I went to purchase my product, and much to my displeasure, she remained as dumb as a rock. I told her i accidentally rubbed some product off on the packaging and went to grab a napkin, she stood there in awe, finally after 10 seconds she snapped out of it and asked... well are you gonna purchase it...... and I almost screamed. But I didn't. I said yes and walked out as fast as I could. All in all it was a terrible experience. read more

this sephora is always packed and busy sometimes i find what i need and sometimes i have to walk over to ulta to buy what i need because their out of stock their customer service is always good when your checking out on the sales floor it depends who helps you but last night i just felt judged i was shopping with my sister and a friend we just got off work and needed a few stuff and i just felt eyes on us no one really came up to us and asked if we needed help but when i would walk over to a section someone was following behind me very annoying i spend too much money in this store to be followed like im going to shoplift i consider this sephora the ghetto one i always shop at the del amo one its by my house or the marina del rey i was just in the area but never coming back to this location read more

Casey I believe her name is. Longish reddish hair. One word, AMAZING. She went above and beyond before me. I was looking for a lipstick that had just come out and according to the app, was in the store. I looked everywhere, another employee looked, and another employee looked. Couldn't find this dang lipstick! Casey rung me up and asked if I found everything okay and I told her about the lipstick. The app said it was at the JCPenney location too but yep, I'm lazy & didn't feel like walking to other side so she called for me. We were on hold for 15 minutes. This is not an exaggeration. So she hung up and called again. No answer. I really wanted this damn lipstick so I said I would just walk down. As I'm walking out, I see a tiny section of holiday lipsticks and there was the lipstick I was looking for So I went back to the register and excitedly said to Casey I found the lipstick! She called me over immediately and didn't make me wait in line again and kept apologizing about her and the other employees not knowing where it was. She was so helpful. Thank you Casey!!! read more
