Sadly, I must admit I am relieved to see others on here have had a similar experience to mine....horrible service. What is up with this location?? I was SO happy to learn a Sephora was going in so close to my house, but now I'm thinking I don't want to go back! :-( I have been to this location about 6 times since it opened and EVERY single time the service has been awful. No greeting, and zero people asking if I need help. Vastly different experience to both Mission Viejo and South Coast. And when I did need help, it was like I was making an impossible request that someone would actually help me. Every time I have gone back, I've thought the experience would be different, it was a newer store so maybe they were getting it together, but hasn't been the case. Went to the soft opening today (6/21) and was beyond amazed! Obviously a fully stocked sephora is enough to make me shed a tear of happiness, but on top of that, the customer service was phenomenal! Every employee had a smile on their face and seemed genuinely excited to help us out! This location is a bit smaller than others, but they still had EVERYTHING my little heart could ever want. All in all, a 10/10 experience! So so so excited (and a little nervous for my bank account) that there is a sephora so close to home!! read more

I walked in today to find a new foundation (I've been using Mac for the past 10 years). Right away Elena was so helpful & soo nice she matched me with a couple different brands and took the time to try different full coverage foundations until I found one I liked. I've never had a bad experience at Sephora. But I will never go back to this location to avoid this feeling. I didn't like cashier's attitude. When I was leaving after purchase, she just said "Here you go. It's your receipt! Next costumer." Sounds like I forgot to take it. Doesn't even say "Thank you." I think saying "Thank you" to your customer is the most basic thing. Also I noticed my beauty point is over 100 after the transaction, but she didn't ask me anything. Just collected money. Great place with awesome customer service! Was greeted right away and obviously I'm a guy I was pretty clueless on what to Get my wife. I let the girl know that my wife loves skincare and cosmetics and to Show me around what new products they had. She then radioed another girl that was able to Assist me with skincare products and when I told her if I could get help For cosmetics she then radioed and passed me over to another young lady which helped me Out with makeup products. I think it's pretty cool that they have their employees separated depending on the department you need help with. This place sucked because they would even let look. They just kept coming up to me and talking bout me behind my back. I'm just trying to shop and this one lady on Labor Day 2019 was so annoying asked me if I wanted a basket when I was holding like three thing. FOR THE 20TH TIME NOOOOOO I don't not need one leave me alone. She basically tricked me into going to the counter and checked in all my items when I wasn't even done. It made me so mad I didn't even want to buy what I was going to get. It's all because they were being too annoying. This place is seriously awful. I went in one day looking kind of haggard (ok my hair was in a "I don't care" type of bun, hadn't washed my hair or put on make-up, and my fake eyelashes really needed a fill) and the person who greeted me 1)didn't even say hi 2)looked me up and down. Then I ask her if I could get my facial for the month and she looked at me as if I was stupid. I quickly changed my mind because I felt so awkward by her lack of response/look of disgust I just wanted to not be seen. So I just asked her where the foundation was. Again, she waited like 30 seconds with a look of confusion that someone like me would afford anything there, and then passed me off to someone else immediately. She made me feel SO bad about myself that I wanted to leave. It was obvious she didn't want to help me because I didn't look great. Like this is a place that encourages women, not a place to judge someone just because they don't look picture perfect. I'm honestly still upset and embarrassed about this... I'm never going back and I'm like scared to go into another sephora without a full face of make-up lol. read more

I was so relieved when I found out a Sephora opened at the Tustin Market place. I came in today because I purchased two foundations online but the colors I chose were completely off. I was hoping the associates at this location would be able to help me and and my expectations were beyond met by Hailey S. today! She was so happy to answer all of my questions and even gave me a few samples and recommendations for a few foundations. I really appreciated her patience with me because I took up a lot of her time. At other Sephora locations the associates who helped me would run off after one question but Hailey made sure I was taken care of. Can't wait to stop by here again!! read more

Initially I went into the store looking for a Nars foundation which they were out of .However, they checked the back for me and actually found my shade so I was happy about that. I had asked the store associate Kim for a sample of other foundations n I mentioned to her that I felt my foundation didn't last and my skin seemed to almost consume it . She advised me that good make up application starts with good skin. She gave me samples of a skin care routine she thought would be best for my super dry skin. I ended up buying some of the suggestions she advised would be best for my skin. I'm so happy that I did !!! My skin seems so much more hydrated, smaller pores , and my makeup does infact last longer. I really want to thank Kim for taking the time in actually helping me. Kim was super helpful and knowledgeable in helping choose a foundation and a skin care routine. I felt like she was genuine in her approach and wasn't trying to suggest things that weren't going to help so I'm happy about that !! Sephora has the worst service out of any place. I ordered Tarte II eyeshadow. They shipped Tarte III, not once or twice but 8 times since August. So customer service checked the fulfillment center and Tarte III is on the shelf where II is. So they said I could go to the to exchange. I had the worst experience there... The Clerk Yurit, said they did not have II but they had Tarte I. I said I do not care at this point it has been a joke since August, She then said since I got the item on sale and it was no longer I had to pay the difference. I AM DONE!!!! There were 7 employees standing around talking about Saturday night and then when I said just give it back I am done. She said maybe the manager might help. TRAIN YOUR STAFF AS THEY ARE ALL HORRIBLE. Came to this Sephora around 5pm since it was the location on my way home from work. I walked in and there were two employees standing right by the mirror next to the door talking to each other but no one greeted me, whatever. After I found which foundation I wanted I went to the employees that were just standing and talking to each other and said "excuse me, can someone help color match me for a foundation?" And oooooohhhh boy the look that the two girls gave me was like it wasn't their job to give any customer service at all.. ANYWAYS while checking out, the lady asked for my phone number like 4 times and I spend a lot of money at Sephora and I know I'm a rouge member, I don't mean to sound stuck up but she did not mention my status, did not mention how many points I have or if I even wanted to redeem them (I have over 1000), PLUS its my birthday in 2 days and I've been getting emails saying to redeem my birthday gift but she did not even mention anything at all which is kind of upsetting. I've been to multiple Sephora's before, but the customer service at this location is very very low.. I would rather drive further and go to a busier Sephora and get far better service than to come back to this one.. As a boyfriend who always get dragged into these stores, I'm usually miserable, but not at Sephora!!!! Jus10E (Justine) not only helped my amazing girlfriend and answered all of her questions but mine as well. She even made me a sample to take home so I can fully understand what my girlfriend does and how it makes her skin feel. I highly recommend this store and asking for Jus10e (Justine). Jackie (JM) the manager on duty was just as friendly and kind as Jus10E (Justine). Now I know why this location is the number one store in the region for Sephora. I made an appointment for makeup to be done before a wedding. The ladies at the location were super friendly and I felt like every time I would pass a worker, they would ask if I need help and greet me which was super sweet. Then it was time for my makeup appointment with Veronica and she's amazing! Not only is she so friendly, but she gave me such a glamorous makeover! I would give this place zero stars if I could today. I went to this location to redeem a sampler pack of cologne that I had purchased back in August and initially the person working there told me that I was only able to redeem the pack for a tiny sampler size (although it says very clearly on the package that these samplers can be redeemed for a FULL SIZE BOTTLE). She then told me I could pay the difference if I wanted to purchase a full size bottle. Her manager then told her she was wrong but they both refused to let me redeem my purchase even though I brought in the case and leaflet. They said I need another leaflet which was included in the package. I clearly had purchased the item but they still refused to let me redeem it because of a tiny paper that I had forgot to bring. I shall be redeeming my purchase at a different location. Utter buffoonery and this store should be ashamed. I'm not surprised though, this was the location that allowed an unmasked shopper to racially berate another shopper a few months ago. I guess the employees just don't care. read more

I think this store deserves a stellar review! I stopped by today to return an online purchase. The cashier couldn't have been more warm and friendly regarding the return. She did not make me feel uncomfortable at all, actually, just the opposite. I stayed and shopped, purchased some things, and every single employee in the store was beyond friendly and warm and all were going out of their way to help, direct and make suggestions. Highly recommend this location! I have shopped many times at many, many Sephora stores. I have been very excited for this store to open and have already shopped there approximately 8 times. Everyone has been friendly and helpful but this review is really for one employee-Ayah. Ayah is one of the nicest, most helpful people I have ever encountered in a store-ever. She is friendly to every person and does not rush people just to get to the next. She provides helpful information and genuinely tries to make every transaction a positive one. I have waited on the line and have noticed how kind and professional she is to everyone and when it was my turn, I received the same.
