Tried Sergeant's over the weekend and it was excellent! Pizza sauce is awesome and they are heavy handed on the pizza toppings which is great. Substituted one topping for another and no additional cost. Spinach salad was not impressive but most people are likely not going for salad. I don't like leaving a bad review, but everything was wrong. The pizza was NOT good by any standards, the restaurant seating area is not nice, and honestly, it didn't seem clean, so that's unappetizing, too. Sorry, but I hope this helps them improve, but it may be too far gone. read more

We have ordered pizza from all over town. We have had a terrible experience with the other pizza places. Pizzas from the other places have even made us sick. Sergeant Pepperoni's Pizza is great. We have ordered twice, had it delivered twice and we have had no issues. The pizza has even come quickly on the weekends. The people there are very polite. The orders are correct and they are GOOD. They are the best in town by far. It hits the spot every time. I will only order from them. Don't waste your money, time and patience on other places. read more

We love this pizza. Had it delivered and tried a variety of menu items. The Mediterranean Pizza had roasted vegetables and a perfect crust. I've never had delivery taste this fresh. We also tried the baked chicken wings. Very good. The spinach salad was fresh with plenty of dressing on the side and they weren't stingy with ingredients. The bread pudding was something else. We loved it too. Even though not everyone here has much of a sweet tooth. It wasn't too sweet. Perfect. I have ordered delivery from Sergeant Pepperonis MULTIPLE times. Tonight not only did they pick up the phone, not say a word and put the phone down and leave my mother on hold for 12 minutes but when they decided to finally speak with her told her they "absolutely do not delivery to that address". Once again, this is a place I have ordered from multiple times. The, what I assume to be teenage boy, speaking with her not only got a disrespectful attitude but also hung up on her. She then called me to order and I called was not surprisingly put on hold but then calmly asked if they delivered to my address and he said they could actually do it but because it was "so far out of their delivery zone" it would be over an hours wait. I am SO unbelievably frustrated with this place because they literally were my favorite. I have celiacs disease and their gluten free pizza has never gotten me sick and actually tastes good. I've attempted ordering from this location three times over the past two months. When my mom told me I needed to call I assumed it was because no one was picking up specifically because they last three attempts I made to order there no one picked up any of my phone calls. I attempted to order online, however, they don't have an option for gluten free just a notes section. It is clear that they neglect to pay attention to their phones so why would I trust them reading the small note at the bottom of my order that says please prepare this gluten free for someone with celiacs disease. During this call I could hear the teenage boy discussing everything with the manager. As a manager, I know that when a situation like this occurs you are in charge of taking over the phone and not barking orders and then allowing your employee to disrespect a customer that has been loyal to you for SEVERAL years. Their food is good but their employees all around are not, which in my opinion makes it no where near worth it to order from this place. It is poorly run and working environments like this train a new generation of workers to believe that nothing is wrong with this behavior when working and representing a company. read more

Tried Sergents today and I am not sure why this pizza has 5 stars. I must say I have had better pizza in Chicago and homestate MO. Pizza has no zest, no spices just really bland. I took my two kids here for dinner on the one night we were in Knoxville and it was a great decision. Everything, from service to pizza, was fantastic. The pizza crust was perfect and the cheese and toppings were perfectly baked on it. My teen daughter, a pizza addict, proclaimed it possibly the best pizza she's ever eaten. This is some of the best pizza I have ever had. I work close by and went there because my coworker recommended it. Best pizza I have had in Knoxville. They have great specials and great service. I have to say that Lindsay is like a breath of fresh air. Super service skills and coming from a previous server, that's the best complement ever. Those that have been in the business know those that should be. Top of the line service and top of the line pizza and wings. I ordered delivery. The service was prompt and the pizza arrived hot. But, the quality of this pizza was well below average, even by Tennessee standards (I'm from New York). The crust was soggy and flavorless, and the underside displayed evenly spaced pock marks, the hallmark of frozen, pre-made dough. While I would have expected this from Domino's or Uno, I did not anticipate this time-saving tactic from a small, local pizzeria that supposedly prides itself on quality. Of course, I haven't visited this establishment, so I can only speculate about their pizza construction methods. But be forewarned: if you're looking for DiGiorno at a premium price, look no further. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. We've sampled many of their offerings in my office, and we're all in agreement: This is our new go-to place for work lunch. The Seven Oaks location is Horrible!! It is way overrated. The cheese is tasty, the crust is not great but do not go to the location out west. If you go, go to the Bearden one. Overall it is completely overrated. read more

Super bummed on this place. Pizza is usually great and service is usually OK but last night changed my mind about this place for good. Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. There's one waiter in particular with curly black hair, a beard, and glasses. Treated everyone at the table as if we were idiots, never talked about any specials, and tried to memorize our orders and kept returning to the table to ask the orders again(after all this he still managed to screw up our orders). We waited about 25 min. To get the pizza and it was fine. About 5 min. Into our meal one of our friends orders a beer, the waiter didn't respond but stared at the table until my friend finally asked if he was going to show him the offerings. The waiters reply was "you can find them yourself on the board behind you." After my friend ordered the waiter said "I don't feel comfortable serving you..." Didn't ask for an ID or anything. After much arguing with the manager and waiter after this we demanded a free meal only to be threatened that they would "call authorities" if we didn't want to pay. So all that being said Sgt. Pepperoni has lost my business and I will continue to spread the word. Thanks! read more
