Great spot for Tacos and all of the other mexican food etc. Very welcoming staff. Limited parking spots. I highly recommend the Al Pastor meat (Pork that is marianted in pineapple juice and other ingredients) Carne asada was also on point. Prices are very fair. They also offer desserts, if you have room for it. The salsas are spicy but have flavor. If you ask for guac be aware that it is more of a blended form than the traditional kind you'd expect. To Sergio's Tacos on Atlantic Blvd., there is nothing new to say, they still making excellent tacos, excellent burritos, excellent sauce, green or red you named. King Taco for emergency only. I just wish that one day Sergio's added to their menu Gorditas, Quesadillas and Tortas as good as their tacos and burritos... hopefully. Grew up with Sergio's my whole life. Way better than King taco by far, and any other place. Their salsa is top notch, red if you like it super spicy but green is just as good. Meats are well cooked, idk how people can get "dry meat" from here. Or I may just go on days they have "good" meat which is all the time. And service wise? They are busy most of the time, and some of those people work there all day. Who cares if they're a little grouchy sometimes. Small space, hard workers, lots of people, awesome food. Well anyways, I love this place. Small hole in the wall but definitely a gem find in commerce. Definitely a must try at least once if you have the chance. read more

Honestly I believe that sergios tacos is one of the best in the area, I've been coming here since I was a kId and they've done an amazing job, they have been so kind and welcoming to me and my family, often able to tell when I was making a phone order. That kind of sense of community is practically unheard of these day, so I commend them for that. read more

My one star is based on service only from the Olympic and Garfield location. I try not to go to this location however I go due to the convenience of the drive through hence my complaint. You place your order, they repeat it back totally different. This madness can go on for a few minutes until you get frustrated and have to go to the window and order. Now don't get excited, just when they have repeated your order and it's correct you need to become a gambler. It will be a crap shoot whether or not you actually get what you ordered. I would say 95% of the times I have gone I don't get what I order. I sent an email when visiting their site and never received a response. My email told them How much I enjoy their food and it would be great to see what can be done to fix their customer service issues. I have family and friends that won't go anymore due to their inaccuracies. The Sergios on Vail and Olympic is great, just wish they had a drive through. read more

This place was good up until today...here is my experience: Around 9 am I walked in to get a Burrito, I stood there waiting for service and nobody was helping, took them a few minutes, in fact the cook had acknowledge me first and asked for my order. Once he was done he still had to ask someone in the back to come charge me, while I was waiting there I saw some lady in the back with a big storage container transferring the rice to a pan so she can warm it up, the container was labeled 6/5/14, and today is 6/13/14. Below that was another container labeled 6/4/14, that seems like pretty old rice if you ask me. In the meantime some other lady came to charge me and asked if that's all I wanted so I said no I would like a drink, I told her the type and size of the drink, she went on to charge me and didn't charge me for the drink nor was she even thinking about giving it to me, so I said it again, "I'd like a drink please" she looked at me and just said "oh" so she proceeded to grab the drink and turned back for some reason and the came back to the machine and she had the nerve to ask me again what it was that I wanted! like really? I know it's morning but come on!...so while she's pouring the drink some guys walked in behind me and started talking to the cook and he was taking their order, the one guy asked for a Quesadilla, when the cook put down the tortilla he came back to the line and grab the cheese and piled it on the tortilla, pretty good portion actually but then I saw something move inside the cheese, I did a double take wondering if in fact it was too early but nope it wasn't, a nice BIG fly comes out underneath the cheese, walks around the cheese and at that point I guess it was too hot because it flew away, I don't know if the cook saw it when he turned back around but he totally ignored it and so did the guys ordering because they were too busy having a soccer (Football) conversation. So I get back in my car as I'm driving away I'm disgusted by yet another situation, my drink, the Jamaica tasted like it had been in the refrigerator for a WEEK!! you can taste the flavors of everything that was in there, I was definitely not looking forward to my burrito. Sorry but I'm definitely not going back to that place, service sucks, they're definitely not being careful with food safety and it's obvious they let ingredients and food sit there way too long. This place is pretty good. I tried the menudo and it was fab.Tthe restaurant is pretty small and during lunch hours it gets packed and kind of crazy. Becasue the place is so small the line gets big and can be a bit frustrating when one guy is yellign out "Next!"while the other is yelling out "Con todo?" so PLEASE avoid the busy lunch crowd. I use to love coming to this place until today. I work with adult with disabilities and I take them to buy lunch at this location. The person preparing food was rude and took the order of another girl before me. Then the cashier yen? Or something like that was more rude. I have to pay each their separate order and she got mad at me when I was nearly going to explain to her. They had no manners. But the worst for me is I had my client who is blind and my two other clients that need assistance with direction and to be treated less really irritates me. If you cannot serve all clients equally for sure none of the clients from our school will come here ever again!!! read more

It was our very first time here and the customer service was beyond terrible. To begin with our dining experience, the cashier had a nasty attitude. The cook was nice. Our order was a bean & cheese burrito with rice and a carne asada soupe. When the cook was making my husbands burrito,  my husband told the cashier "can we have a carne asada soupe" and with her attitude she says "tell the cook" My husband asked the cook for a side of tortilla chips. The cook ask "like the ones in nachos" and he said "yes." But it was loud in there so to make sure he heard correct  my husband ask the cashier "if its just a side of tortilla chips." The cashier with her attitude said "we only sale them in nachos or super nachos" and she ask if we wanted like that and he said "no" and keep this in mind it was loud in there so my husband ask her "so we cant order them on the side" and she ignored my husband. It made our dining experience terrible. I told her before we left "you know what you have a nasty attitude."  Never again we will be eating here.  Watch out for this lady. read more

I was there today, i ordered 4 asada and 4 pastor with no onions and no cilantro and the salsa on the side . I was going to surprise my wife but she hates cilantro and onions . When i got home the tacos were covered onions and cilantro , there was more onions than meat. They also forgot to give me my salsa on the side. It's really a shame to write this as I've been going to this place for YEARS ! It's been a landmark in a local close knit community and they have a pretty good product! However, the last few times I've been there the quality has just gone down. The cooks unfortunately don't really put genuine care into your food. They're too much in a hurry and cut corners. Unfortunately sometimes these cut corners can result in some bad experiences. I specifically asked for a burrito without beans for someone that is allergic. After they "accidentally" put beans all they did was wipe them off and rewrap it. For someone with an ALLERGY that's just not going to work. Hopefully this place can retrain/motivate their team to invest quality care into their food and clientele.Only then can they regain a better rating from me. read more

a friend of mine from Commerce always seems to know the best places in East LA, so when she raved about this place I was pretty excited, which can lead to big disappointment. Not so with Sergio's. The meat was still sizzling when mr. chef starting chopping it up with his bare hands. I grew up eating Sergios, I live a couple of blocks away. I just had Sergios and it was horrible!!!! The burrito was gross, the al pastor tacos dry as hell and the nachos just looked like a huge mess. To top it the salsas don't even taste the same anymore!!! Wth happened!!!! It all tasted like shit!
