    Half eaten pizzas

I haven't had a lot of good pizza in the Seattle area so the other day I stopped by Serious Pie on a Thursday evening. It was a great day outside, we had a dog with us, and so we opted to sit on the patio. There were not a ton of people out there, maybe one other group, and the area was super spacious. A lot of the pizza flavors are really intriguing. The clam Pizza immediately caught my eye but of course they were out. But it was national cheese pizza day so we ordered one of their cheese pizzas (selecting 3 types of cheese) and one of their potato pizza. Both were delicious. They had a really crust and all the toppings were generous and flavorful! The employees here especially went above and beyond. They brought the dog water, and were really generous about treats (asking first of course). Definitely a nice chill place to get a pizza!

Went here for dinner after spending some time across the street in at great notion and overall had a great experience! A friend and I split the two specials for this month which were both Nduja Bella (a thinly sliced sausage). One was sweeter with baked apricots and had an amazing flavor to it combined with the pesto and burrata. The other had yakima corn and was more of a neutral taste. The ambiance was nice as we sat outside in the corner 6 table as the sun was setting and felt like a perfect summer day. One standout was our waitress, she was extremely attentive and went into great detail talking about each of the different pizza options. We also really enjoyed getting to know her!

Small outdoor dining space with tons of unique pizza, sammies and salads. Got the Pork Shoulder sammie that came with some local crisps I hadnt had. It was a fair portion for the price and the peppers (I think) were the real shining flavor. Simple cuisine with no indoor space (at least when I was there) in a lil industrial neighborhood.

Ordered pizza to go and it was ready pretty quickly. Was super yummy and light! Perfect for a snack or dinner for 1-2

In Seattle for a guys trip and checked out SP in Ballard. The pizza was fantastic. Great crust with good chew. We sampled about 4 pies and the favorite was the clam. Try the homemade ranch. Inside is small but they do have a patio. Very friendly staff.

The location downtown was my favorite pizza in the city growing up. My family and I would share a margarita pizza- eating the warm pie together on rainy days remains some of my favorite memories in Seattle. After moving back to the area as an adult, i wanted to try it again to see if it lived up to what I remember it being. I visited the Ballard location last weekend with my partner and it did NOT disappoint. The staff is so kind and helpful, and the vibe is great with the Viking details and outdoor eating area. We got the potato rosemary pizza and it was perfect!! The potatoes were sliced thin and they did not skimp on the herbs. The crust is the best part. We also got the beet salad and the kale Caesar salad.

Super delicious! After a Saturday exploring Ballard, this really hit the spot. The pies have tons of seasonal and unique flavors, but definitely run on the small side and are a bit pricey. It's a sit-down spot and the waiters were friendly and helpful, but it was definitely pretty busy. It's a nice cozy ambiance, and they have seating that can easily fit bigger groups.

They are Not kidding! This is some Serious Pie! How do I describe this? One of my dining companions said 'I think this has ruined all other pizza for me.' That's a good descriptor. The wood fired crust is crunchy at the edges and well cooked (as in the pizza chef did is correctly). The sauce has a nice herb quality. There is a fragrant olive oil in there. The mozzarella on my pie was thick and creamy, not overly chewy or stringy and the fresh basil has a nice mild flavor. I had an iced tea, which is fresh brewed, and it is one of the best iced teas I've had at a restaurant. They also have house made lemonade, soft drinks, beer amd wine. Walk up to the cashier on the sidewalk to place your order and select one of their picnic tables on either side of the street to dine-in. They have a 3 minute parking spot for pre-ordered take-out carry out. The staff are very friendly. This place is no frills. The attention is on the food, and it's really good.

A no-frills pizza spot nestled into the heart of Ballard, right next to all of the breweries. My friends and I were at Obec Brewing and got a pie to-go to snack on while we were there... and this just might be some of my favorite pizza in Seattle! It was super easy to order from their website and run across the street to pick it up. The Mozzarella Pizza was SO. FIRE. The wood-fired crust was delicious and the cheese was melty and fresh and the sauce was so darn good -- I can't say anything else other than to go get it, like now! I am definitely coming back!

yukon gold potato, pecorino romano, rosemary with sausage

Came here on a road trip through Seattle and saw that serious pie was a hot destination. I ordered on the phone first and then came to pick it up. It wasn't crowded at all the late afternoon but they seemed to take a while to come out with our food. In addition, it didn't come with chili flakes and it took them forever to even find a packet. I ordered the yukon gold potato, pecorino romano, rosemary pie with extra Italian sausage. After bringing it to the locks, I bit in to a pie with good crust, a bit undercooked potatoes, and expensive sausage. The pizza was almost $30 with the extra sausage. Flavor wise it was a great combination but it was just a bit small in addition to the undercooked potato. Overall it was kinda just average for me. It's a bit too pricey for me and not good enough to try it again.

Stumbled on this place while making a U-turn and what a lucky day it turned out to be! Delicious lunch, pictures do not do this place justice. Picture looks like any other pizza, but this one was really really delicious . Cool, fun, zero pretention in this place. While orderingordering, we were told it will be 15 minutes to prepare, in reality it was 10, another pleasant surprise. Definitely a repeat!

I'm SO glad Other Coast proved me wrong. And I was blown away by what we got. For starters, I asked for a reco. The person behind the counter said the Michael King was super popular among veggies and vegans alike. I'm aways more likely to choose something I wouldn't make at home, and the dry rubbed tofu, roasted yams, and vegan cardamom-lime sauce fit right into that category. We paid, nabbed a table out front, and our names were soon called. Holy heck, those first few bites were just spectacular. What an interesting flavor combo! My only regret is that pickled onions weren't an option -- they would've added a great umami. My total came to just over $16 with tax and tip. We'll be back!

Both sandwiches were delicious and very filling. The spot itself is really small and not flashy at all. There are only a few bar seating chairs inside, and then 4 or 5 tables in their outdoor, on street seating area. We came at an odd time, around 3:30pm, so there was no line and a few open tables, but I am assuming this place gets real busy around peak lunch so would take that into consideration if you are looking to go sit and eat somewhere versus takeout. The staff was friendly and it did not take too long for our sandwiches to come out. The sandwiches were super fresh and the flavors were really good. I appreciated that the baguette was not too crispy (like cut the top of your mouth crispy) while still be well toasted. The Rajun Cajun is delicious, so it deserves all the hype it gets on the menu and on here!

It tasted very rich, creamy, sweet and just slightly tangy with a velvety smooth texture. The generous toppings balanced it out perfectly and it was served in a beautiful Fortessa bowl. got the Notorious PIG sandwich and the Buttermilk Biscuit while I was here…read more Starting with the sandwich, there were a ton of things to love about this The very first thing I noticed was how all-time crispy the pork belly was. Interestingly, the meat came in two separate pieces, arranges somewhat like an X or a cross in the middle of the sandwich. This certainly wasn't the eating experience of a typical sandwich with a circular meat patty, and I appreciate the creativity here. The meat was insanely crunchy, oily, and quite plentiful. Each bite felt a bit like you were biting into a crunchy churro, but without the sweetness. I did think the outside of the pork did overpower the inside, though, as I didn't taste the meat or the fat inside much, and due to the amount of breading the pieces ended up being a bit chewy The bun was quite good as well - it was pretty soft, fluffy, and served as a really good bookend to all the ingredients inside. I thought the lettuce and onions also were good. I don't know if I'm a fan of the jelly on the sandwich - but again, I do like the creativity. What did shine here was the aioli, however. In a lot of places, you don't really taste the aioli on a burger - but that flavor was ever-present on this sandwich, and it was really fantastic. The absolute best part of the meal, by far, though, was the biscuit I have to start with how huge this is. This is certainly not the size of a typical Southern-style buttermilk biscuit - rather this biscuit makes no apologies in its effort to stand out from the crowd. Absolutely nobody would mistake this for a traditional biscuit - on the contrary, I think on first glance most people would assume this isn't a biscuit at all. It's shaped more like a massive pastry. I hesitate to say that looks are deceiving, because it does look great, but its taste manages to elevate past that. This was SO good. The edges are baked perfectly - they're oily, crispy, crunchy, and perfectly flaky. All four sides provide an amazing base - like the walls of a fortress that surround the soft, tender interior of the biscuit. You can see the different layers from the outside as well. When it comes to the inside, there was so much to get through but every bite was heavenly. So much credit here goes to the honey butter - which when spread onto the biscuit, raises the taste level of the entire thing. I put so much honey butter on mine that I nearly finished the whole thing. When it came to the jam, it was good, but since it didn't combine great with the honey butter I mostly ended up just using the latter This place was expensive - around 16 dollars for the sandwich and 8 for the biscuit - however, I was quite full at the end
