Exactly what I wanted and showed her she provided, and not to mention the cakes were to die for. Chocolate cake with fresh bananas on whip cream. Vanilla Cale with fresh strawberries on whip cream. Cash only, but the prices are very affordable. I had my first concha from here and understand why its a classic. After pulling a bunch of different things frm the racks for an at-home taste test, the real surprise to me was the carrot cake with white frosting. Its a huge slab of moderately sweet cake, very moist, with super-sweet frosting. I think its my favorite. The woman behind the counter is not big on conversation but she will help as much as she can. And I respect the fact that when I wanted to buy a cup of coffee she was like you dont want that coffee its old. haha. I didnt care for some of the cookies I tried they tasted like lard, but I know a lot of customers like that, so I think it deserves a good rating anyway read more

Best place for Tres Leches in Richmond, yes Richmond!!! Once you get pass the idea that you're in Richmond, check this place out. You'll be amazed at how wonderful the baked goods are. Ok back to the tres leches, not too sweet, just perfect! When in season, they add fresh strawberries, soooo goooood!!! They also have the traditional pineapple filling and I'm sure they have guava, just ask. If pan dulce is what you're craving, this would be the spot to satisfy it. I came to this bakery 20 minutes ago and I order a bread that was just out the oven, first the cashier took the bread with her bare hands, she didn't wash her hands then, I said I want it with jam in the middle without sugar, well she took the jam out the bucket with her bare hands, I told her that she didn't wash her hands after touching money, and with a bad attitude, she said "I will make you another one", but she did exactly the same as before. Sooooo good! A friend of mine introduced me to conchas and now I am absolutely addicted! This bakery is tucked away in a quiet part of Richmond with plenty of regulars. I came here for the conchas (which are delicious and only about 50 cents a piece), but they also have a variety of other Mexican goodies that are made fresh every day. The staff is very friendly and attentive. One of the bakers even offered to switch out the bread I just picked for ones fresh out of the oven! The only thing is to make sure you have cash on you, but other than that I'm sure you'll make this a new regular stop! read more

Someone told me they have the best panaderia in the East Bay. It is true. I left with a bag of treats and it was only $3.90! The panaderia didn't all taste the same like in many other shops. We have ordered cakes from them before with no problem. However, I recently went in to inquire about a cake and the person helping me said she had to call someone first. After her call she gave me the name of Veronica and her phone number and told me to call or text her. I immediately text her with a picture of the cake and after a couple of text, she stopped responding and didn't answer my call. This use to be my go to bakery, but not anymore.
