My grandson had practice in Franklin at the Hockey Lab so I wanted him to have a good dinner in him. I googled steak restaurants in Franklin and Serrato's popped up. It was late afternoon and they were open. The restaurant was vert nicely decorated and immaculate. The servers were very professional and accommodated my request to have the food come to the table at 4:30. The filet mignon was perfectly prepared, expertly spiced and melted in our mouths. Accompanied by finger potatoes, brussel sprouts and mushrooms were absolutely delicious and some of the best vegetables I've ever tasted. The owner came to the table to see how everything was for us and spoke to my grandson about hockey for a couple of minutes. This place is a real find. I can't wait to take my wife there. read more

Pork chops were excellent My wife was disappointed that there is no baked potato on the menu but the garlic mashed were very good. Impeccable service. I wanted to take my man out for a fancy dinner but I still have bills to pay (living anywherev within 1 hour of Nashville is ridiculously expensive). I researched best steakhouses and found this gem. The reviews sparked my curiosity so we made the drive from MJ to Franklin. We arrived at a small, inconspicuous place in a shipping center. I had made reservations for two. They looked at us and seen we were overwhelmed by the crowd and immediately offered a table outside where no one was. It wasn't too chilly and they had a fire table and propane heater. They even turned it up and scooted it closer to us. The staff was the most attentive staff I've ever had. They ensured it was as fancy as possible and treated as if we were high-profile guests. I mean the staff was even more kind than Flemming's (which were also incredible but very spendy). We visited Serratos tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. There are so few nice places to eat in our end of town, that we were excited to see this open! We started with beverages and a charcuterie. Everyone was pleased with their drinks and the charcuterie was plenty for the 6 of us to share. Next we ordered the Burrata Salad, Wedge salad and Crab Bisque. The salads were big enough for 2 to share and, again, everyone was very pleased with what they ordered. For our entrees, 2 of us ordered the grouper special, 2 ordered the filet, and 2 ordered the bone in pork chops. In addition to the sides that came with our orders we tried the Mac and Cheese and Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Again, everything was delicious! Even though we were stuffed we got dessert - I mean, it's a birthday celebration. We ordered the Chocolate Mousse Torte and Red Velvet Cheesecake. I feel like a broken record, but they were also amazing! In addition to the wonderful dinner, our service was great and we had a great conversation with the owner. The fact that all 6 of us loved everything we ate says a lot! That's pretty rare. So excited to have a new place to eat so close to home. This was our first visit. The restaurant is new and just opened a couple months ago. The interior is nice and well thought out. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was mixed. My wife had the salmon which was very good. It was cooked perfectly, the seasoning was just right. I ordered the 6 oz filet. When it was served, it didn't look like a filet. It was almost v shaped. It had a small piece of gristle in the middle. Otherwise it tasted good, it was juicy and tender. The table next to us got the 8 oz filet. It looked like what a filet is expected to look like. We stated our meal with the wedge salad. It was good size and tasted great. We would order that again. Even though I missed the "soft opening", this week's opportunity to enjoy the first dinner was incredible. The owner came to the table to greet us and thank us, as well as educate us on their cuisine choices. The staff was on top of their game and did very well. The menu offers every choice for the pallet. The chef's wife is in charge of the bar and wine list (Catena Malbec was my choice) & has done an excellent job. My wife and I went here for a date night and what an amazing night we had. This was our first time here and definitely will be back. We did not have reservations, but the host took really good care of us and we were able to get a table within 10 minutes. Our server was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. I ordered a steak medium which should be a pink center. It came out well done with no pink. I sent it back and this time it came out extremely rare. I again sent it back. Third time was not the charm, it came out well done again. Medium should be a pink hot center. I gave up and told them not to cook any more for me. I must say, the manager was very apologetic and concerned. Each time the server and manager agreed with my observations. I can't remember any time sending a steak back once let alone three. We had a party of 3 and ate at this restaurant on 9/3/24. We had a wonderful meal and the waiter was excellent. The next week I wanted to surprise my sister with a gift card for helping take care of my children while I was on a trip out of town. I purchased a $200 gift card online on Monday. I never heard back from the restaurant and then had to call 3 times as they did not respond. On Thursday, I called back again and was told that the gift card did not process because they thought it was fraud. It did not decline on my credit card, it showed pending nor did I receive an email saying it was declined due to fraud....No communication at all!! So, I am 4 days out without a gift for my sister. The staff I spoke with was less than concerned with helping me. I know places have to be careful with fraud but this is at the expense of customer service which they just lost two families because we WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN!!! Nashville has many nice restaurants that value their customers and especially if they are trying to be a repeat customers. read more

My fellow diners had a pork chop (OK) a filet oscar style (OK but a strange nontraditional Oscar) and the salmon & shrimp (OK). Everything was OK. The pesto and muchroom flat bread is not flat bread. The 'bread' is not nearly done pizza dough. I've had better frozen flat beards from Publix. Asked for a few anchovies on the caesar salad. Cannot be done. I did not request fresh white anchovies. Anchovies from a can would have sufficed. No. $25 bottle of wine - vinatge 2021 - $75. Bill for 4 - $320.00. The place is a dark diner. No table cloth. Poorly timed food delivery. Sweeping the floors 3 feet from me to close up while 2 other tables were also still dining? The owner is incompetent if this is acceptable from their wait staff. It was a Saturday night. Apparently the wait staff had plans. God loves those who try. These folks don't try hard enough. If they're going for the Ludlow & Prime we're not a chain restaurant thing in Williamson County they won't make it. Save your time and money. This place is at best OK.
