Amazingly friendly service! We were recommended the business from a neighbor. When I called one morning, for a quote Shane was out that same afternoon. He explained everything to me and the quote was fair... No way in H*%L I was doing it myself! We were dealing with rats getting in the crawl space of our house. We had a roach problem but not any more. We called Server's Pest Control and their tech Shane did a very thorough spraying job. At that time we had a vegetable garden in the back and he was very cautious not to spray the plants but still spray the fence line. Shane is always on time, is polite, and honest. He let's us know he is there and holds off spraying till we close the windows and put the dog in the house. We have been with Server's off and on for over ten years. Since our neighbors on all sides of our house don't spray we see the roaches at the fence line appearing about every three months so Server's sprays every three months. We have not seen a roach since. Its a small price to pay to keep the roaches out. Small Company that is quick to respond and gets the job done for less money. read more

We've used Server Pest Control for 3 years now. They come out every spring to spray a fungicide on our large Sycamore in our front yard. Our tree had a bad case of Sycamore Anthracnose (http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/3000/3048.html) where the leaves curl brown shortly after budding in the Spring. Given the city of San Jose's fondness for planting this tree on all the streets I can only guess this is a fairly common problem. At $120 a spraying - done twice each year it isn't cheap, but the tree seems to be thriving. I'd love to see Server Pest come out the night before they spray and put up no parking signs under the tree they are spraying. It would save a lot of hassle and rescheduling. read more

Disrespectful. We signed on for monthly service and the routine was that we'd get a call within the first couple days of each month letting me know when Shane would be out to spray. I would send payment after every service. Everything started out fine for a few months until last month when he didn't call to come out when he said he would. I called the office. Was told he "screwed up his schedule" and would come out tomorrow. No apology from the woman answering the calls. Except he didn't show the next day. I called again and was told he screwed up his schedule again and forgot to come out (yes, they actually admitted this twice). Again, no apology. This was odd and unusual. He finally did show up the next day and did the job. This month, no call again to schedule service. I finally called to asked, "Why? Are you having a problem?"....We signed up for monthly service! Now we need to have a problem before getting what we signed up for? Again the same female said she would leave a note for Shane to call...AND AGAIN, NO APOLOGIES FOR REPEATEDLY DROPPING THE BALL! We didn't receive a call from Shane so were left to assume we just weren't going to get service anymore. We phoned around and hired another company who is less expensive, showed up immediately, and actually sent us a thank you card for hiring them. A few days later we got a message from Servers saying Shane would be out to spray. I called back to tell them we found another company since they are now unreliable and don't return calls. If your looking for a Pest Control Company, look no Further!! Can't say enough about these guys. Shane is usually the guy who takes care of our house and he does a great job and is very respectful. He calls us each time he goes out and lets us know about what time he will be there. Are main concern is SPIDERS!! My wife and kids freak out when they are in the house. So Shane sets us up with spraying the outside of the house and does the inside of the house on occasion when they get bad. He also gives us those sticky things to put at the entrances and it picks up a lot of them before they even get in. Very responsive company and for the price it is well worth it. read more

They work hard to help get rid of pests; from patching up open house grates and gaps to trapping and removing the 'offending' critters in a humane and respectful manner. Shane, our tech, has been incredibly professional and courteous -- calling before visits and repeatedly visiting the house to make sure their guarantee of a pest-free zone is delivered. I've used Server's Pest Control now for over 6 years after my tenants started to complain about cockroaches the size of a Volkswagen. I signed them to a contract for bi-monthly spraying. They come out every other month and spray and for the most part do a good job. They stop using the really strong stuff and now use a more eco-friendly formula that breaks down after a couple of month (minus 1 star). The old formula used to work a lot better! THE NEW FORMULA DID NOT WORK AT ALL, so I discontinued the service and do it myself. When (not if) the roaches return prior to the two month period, they come out for free and spray again. You can never really get rid of roaches. You can only control them, especially when the neighbors do nothing themselves. Shane is my regular service technician who always comes out to spray and I give him 5-stars. UPDATE: Ever since I started to spray myself, the tenants told me the only roaches they see are dead roaches. My tenants are happy now and so am I because I save myself a lot of $$$$. read more

I have used these guys for years! They are trustworthy, honest, call me when I had a billing problem. Shane, my tech, calls me the day before he comes to tell me he will be at my house in the morning. This helps me keep the dogs inside during the time that they are spraying. No other company would call me to remind me--just show up and leave a note. Shane has taken mice out of my garage, helped capture critters under my house, always managed ants, and solved a HUGE problem when fleas arrived with a visiting dog. The office staff has always helped me because I travel for business. I have used other companies where I am just a number. Servers have provided something exceptional: Customer Service. Terrible service and they take NO responsibility for results (or should I say lack thereof!). AVOID!

We used Servers once a few months ago, probably 4-5 months ago for bugs and ants around the outside of our house. They did a good job and the bugs still aren't back! HOWEVER - after our initial service, we kept getting phone calls with them saying randomly - "Just wanted to let you know we're coming to spray tomorrow" - this would happen every month and of course we never made an appointment or asked for it so we would call back and cancel it. Well I finally called today to ask them to stop calling us and the receptionist was pretty rude - someone didn't get their customer service training.. I told her what was going on and she said that they were coming to spray because we signed up to receive monthly sprays - I told her that was not true, that we made it very clear we only wanted it done once and would call them again when we needed their service again. She then began to argue with me and tell me that if they would have known that they would have charged me $195 (instead of $95)! That's ridiculous!! They do good work, but if that is how they talk to their customers, and charge that ridiculous amount for a one time fee - I say just save your money and go to Clarks! Clarks is $90 for a one-time service - and the quality is the same. read more

Server's did not serve me. In fact, the infestation got worse, spread to other areas, etc. Had to change companies. It took my old standby pest company (which I will not name) one visit and one follow up to (so far) eradicate the infestation vs. months with Server's. I would not recommend them. read more

Both Shane and the office staff were so supportive and professional in helping me deal with a major rat problem in my house! They responded quickly, kept me informed and were always willing to accommodate my needs. The rats had managed to do major damage under my house, eating through the air ducts under the house and into the walls and cabinets in my garage! Shane was always quick to respond when I could sense recently trapped critters and quickly came to remove it. He did many walks around the house to identify and then seal any potential entry sources. The pest control tech was seen looking inside my jewelry armoire while he was in my house inspecting for mice. It doesn't appear that anything is missing, but he had no reason to look inside the armoire. Julie, the Office Manager & I discussed the issue and came to the resolution that they would not send the same tech back to my house. I thought we were both satisfied with that solution. However, when Server's Pest Control received a letter from BBB today, with my official complaint, they called to tell me they could no longer do business with me because it would be a conflict of interest. read more

We use Server's for quarterly bug spraying. They're actually less expensive than a lot of other places, but offer the same service. Each time they'll ask if we have any specific issues and will adapt the treatment as needed. Recommended. read more

We've used Servers for about 9 years and have been happy customers the entire time. Their rates are comparable to other companies, if not slightly less. There is no contractual obligation and we enjoy the local family-owned friendly customer service. We have the same person come each visit and he takes great care to ensure our home and property stay pest-free and is contientious to ensure the safety of our family and pets. If we ever have issues in between visits, he comes out that same day to resolve the problem.
