We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

Which seems kind of funny because why would you immediately believe that I was an ex employee rather than a previous customer. Seems rather silly when they knowingly hired sub-par subcontractors. I'm providing my response below: I trust the owner will be able to identify who I am since they've needed to return on more than one occasion for warranty work. The owner's assumption that this is a fake review is inaccurate. They are well aware of our project since we have had numerous warranty issues that they've had to come and fix. I was told my review was read and acknowledged. I was told the former project manager was a "dirtbag" and a "car salesman". I'm not sure why the owner is acting as though this review is inaccurate. I was also told that the subcontractors that were assigned to us are no longer with ACR. I find it kind of disappointing that the owner chose to discredit this review rather than just take accountability, especially being dismissive about the paint brush comment. Nothing in this review was rude or subjective; all based on facts -- most of which his employees have shared with me. Nevertheless, I fully expect the owner to go on the defensive to my edit as he has on all the other reviews. He is well aware of our project, the firing of our PM, the subcontractors that were assigned to my project, and the sub-par work done in my home -- which the person who completed our walk through commented on.

Unfortunately, this second experience was completely different. I was told they would arrive between 9:00am-10:00am, but after multiple calls throughout the day, they didn't show up until 3:00pm. The crew that arrived did not speak English, rushed through the job, and the quality of the cleaning was poor. I had to go back and clean numerous streaks myself, and there was still bird droppings left on several windows afterward. The worst part, however, was the damage they caused to four of my window screens. One worker even knocked on my door to ask my husband to help bend a damaged screen back into shape and force it back into the window frame. (You can clearly see their cleaning supplies in the background of the attached photo of window #1.) The screens are now bent and damaged to the point that several windows can no longer be properly opened because the gaps are so large that bugs and debris can get inside. One window will not open at all because the damaged screen is obstructing it. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue and request reimbursement, Perfectionist Cleaning claimed the screens were already damaged before they arrived. That makes absolutely no sense considering we could open all of our windows before the cleaning, and now we cannot. My husband also sent photos of the damage, and they responded by claiming the photos were of "different windows." We are honest Christian people who simply wanted our windows cleaned and instead ended up with damaged property and a company refusing to take responsibility. With a baby on the way, we cannot afford the unexpected cost to replace multiple window screens ourselves. After reading other recent reviews, it appears this may be becoming a pattern for this company -- damage customers' property and refuse to fix it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Chem Dry is awesome! First they are the safest for my pets. Second they always arrive on time…read more(many services make you take half a day off without pay then don't even show up). Third their process is not as wet and dries so much faster (others soak your carpet). Finally, my carpet is 20 years old and each year when they finish cleaning it, it looks like new! It has been over two years (26 months) since the work on my bathroom should…read morehave been completed and they have still not given me back the money they have stolen from me and from the insurance company. Here are the cliff notes: -Referred to salt water restoration by a family friend that has referred a lot of business their way. -Get insurance approval and the work begins. Bathroom is torn apart, toilet removed and drywall is put in. -All monies from the insurance company are released to salt river restoration. I literally handed the person in charge of the job a $5k check. -Company keeps telling me they cannot complete the project because they have not been paid. -I keep sending proof of the payments including proof from the insurance company and my bank statements over and over. (Only monies not paid out are $500 that were to be paid by the insurance company once the work was complete) -Keep being told over and over they cannot find the money. -Talk to representative at the company (this is after two years) and threaten legal action. -Money is all of a sudden found. -Tell them I expect all of my monies returned as I will not be doing business with them as they blatantly lied to me about not having my money and have made myself and my wife feel like liars when they literally were sitting on our money. -Find out the person in charge of the job was fired because of this situation. Did he pocket the money and this is why it wasn't found? -Have continued outreach to the representative that keeps telling me he is taking the issue up to his executive team with no answers. -Threaten legal action again along with letting them know I will be going to the BBB, the insurance company and getting my lawyer involved. And here we are today...Two years without a finished bathroom with an exposed toilet opening. I have been beyond patient with this company and have asked over and over for them to do the right thing and give me back my money as they are holding it hostage. The only work they completed was putting up some drywall. I am fed up and will now start sharing my story everywhere I can.

Couple small complaints, one being that we had scheduled for a Sunday afternoon, it ended up getting pushed to Monday at 11am because of their Sunday job lasting longer than expected, which was okay considering Sunday was a day of request anyways. However, I got a call Monday morning at 9:50am saying they would be there in 20 minutes. 50 minutes earlier than scheduled wasn't something I could accommodate for, but they thankfully pushed it out to 10:30am. However then arrived at 10:45am. So the timing overall wasn't a great start. Lastly, the pricing seemed agreed upon and clear in the beginning, but I was told I wouldn't receive the 15% off because that was only for additional services, not the entire service. On yelp it does state it's 15% off for new customers and I didn't see any fine print stating otherwise. I also confirmed I would be getting the 15% off through messages, but I guess they have an AI bot and that's who I got my response from, which then made my 15% off invalid. Nonetheless, the guys were understanding and accommodating which I appreciate and did apply a discount. Overall, I am happy with the service and pricing provided, I just wish it was a smidge more seamless throughout.
