Inconsiderate, unprofessional and no regard for HIPAA. I booked my appointment a month ago. I was told I would be contacted for a time to talk to a nurse practitioner a day or two before my appointment. My thought was that I would be contacted to schedule the appointment to talk to a NP that would take place a day or two before my appointment. That way I could prepare for it and make arrangements for privacy. Instead I had a random number (from the NP) text me on the Saturday before my Monday appointment asking if I could literally talk "now" so that I could be cleared for my Monday appointment. I told her I couldn't, and why was I contacted last minute to meet/talk to her. She said that's their policy. I called the location and explained that I wasn't somewhere where I could have a private conversation about my medical info. I asked if, due to my profession and not being able to walk away for a private conversation, I could reschedule my appointment and ALSO schedule a time to chat with the NP when I have privacy. I was told NO. I was told they don't schedule the medical clearance appointments with the NP. You just have to work until they contact you (basically randomly) a day or two before your appt. This may be fine for someone who doesn't work and maybe doesn't care about discussing their medical information openly. But I'm a professional working women, I don't always have access to my cell phone due to where I work, and I don't always have privacy (which I want) to discuss my medical information to be medically cleared. The lack of care, insincerity, and disregard for HIPAA is pretty ridiculous. They just see people as a revolving door. No thanks, I'll find a small locally owned medispa and support them instead. I just walked out of my first consultation, I have never done laser before and was definitely nervous! Hannah was absolutely amazing, knowledgeable and welcoming! 5 stars to her!! I wish the laser tech, was as helpful as she is the one doing the actually procedure, but it felt like she didn't wanna be there and wasn't at all informative. This was my first time trying laser and I was really nervous. I decided to try on my underarms. First off, when you first walk in the place is really cute. The ladies who were at the front desk were really nice and informative. My treatment was super fast and basically painless. The nurse who did my treatment was nice and explained the process and made me feel comfortable. I usually wax and this was wayyyyy less painful. The only downside is the appointments are booked out so far. It took me 2-3 months to get into my first appointment. SEV Laser Roseville is a great place for Laser Hair Removal. The space is very chic and trendy, you feel like you are walking into a salon in Beverly Hills. The staff is amazing, friendly and always helpful and efficient. But the reason I am writing this review is not just because the place is great but because I feel the need to share how much I love laser hair removal. It took a friend of mine years to convince to start waxing and when I finally did, I was really happy with the results. After a few years however, I started having issues with my skin - bumps that grew so big I couldn't sit or wear tight fitting clothes. So I switched back to shaving, which worked for a few months and then the same thing happened. I researched laser hair removal ad nauseum and finally decided to go for it. Now, I am aware that my results are not necessarily typical as I have a bit of an advantage in so far as I am very pale and have thick, dark hair - so essentially the ideal candidate. But I hear laser hair removal getting a bad rep in some places and I just have to say that is so untrue. After the 1st session, I had 70% less hair on my pelvic bone, after the 2nd treatment my overall hair was reduced by at least 80-85%. I have not had 1 single issue with bumps, or any irritation after the treatments. I follow the rules and I love my new hairlessness. I do not shave in between sessions (except of course the prep shave before each session) and I no longer need to! If you have ANY doubts, let it go. It works, it is completely painless, the treatments last barely a few minutes and the results after 2 sessions were unreal! I just had my 3rd session today and I am convinced that after my pre-purchased block of 6 sessions, I will be hair free for years to come. It is UNBELIEVEABLE how great this works. my boyfriend and i came in for 3rd treatment on 2/10, i live 45 miles away i get here at 10 am the front desk tells us that the laser is being worked on by a tech and he was supposed to be done and it wont be done until 11:15... they never called me to let me know that the laser was being worked on and there could be a delay. i am in the waiting area watching other people go into their treatment rooms who had appointments after mine. why am i not being accomodated?? they arent even trying. i told them i have another appointment at 12:30 in el dorado hills and needed to be done by 12. hannah acknowledged that. come 11:30am my boyfriend was still not seen and then hannah comes and says the tech will be done in 20 minutes. my boyfriends treatment takes at least 30-40 minutes and they knew i had to be out of there. hannah was not helpful at all she didnt try and get me in another room. im very disappointed because i live far away. terrible customer service! read more
