Holy cow! This place is SUPER FANTASTIC! Stopped in for lunch before an endodontist appointment upstairs (hey...a girl has got to eat!). Went with the Almond Crusted Rainbow Trout...perfectly prepared...fresh 8 oz. fillet pan seared, and subbed their mashers for the crispy garlic potato wedges. Don't t miss this dish! All of the staff is on pointe! And, I mean EVERYONE! Clearly, the leadership team takes care of their people...it is obvious. Was alone for lunch, so I sat at the bar and Jose was a rockstar! Support this local GEM!

Crispy Calamari, Tomato Basil Confit, Duck Flautas, Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Sevy's Smokehouse Beef Tenderloin Filet, Chocolate Chip Mousse Cake Rating: 8.5/10. This was a pretty great meal! Cute restaurant in Preston Hollow. Highlights for me were the duck flautas (shockingly succulent!) And the chocolate mousse cake, which was nice and moist and not too sweet. Everything else was decent, the Tenderloin filet was alright, not that outstanding. Our private room was nice and well lit. Our waiter seemed kind of rushed and stressed, but props to him on his efficiency!

Excellent evening Ambiance was cozy, and calming. Service was excellent as the staff worked well together to accommodate the needs of New Year's Eve Patrons. Food was great, portions excellent. I will definitely return, and tell others.

Marinated Twin Lamb T-Bones with Crispy Brussels Sprouts and creamy roasted garlic polenta.

We were in town for the weekend and decided this place looked promising. It also happened to be our 40th anniversary. I'll start with the good - We ordered the trio appetizer and chose crispy calamari rings, spicy duck flautas and tenderloin empanadas. The calamari were very plentiful and prepared well - crispy on the outside and not 'chewy' on the inside. The empanadas were delicious - very flavorful. The duck flautas were good - not super flavorful but much better with the sauce that accompanied it. For entrees I had the marinated twin lamb chops which came with crispy grilled Brussels sprouts, creamy roasted garlic polenta and a mint Zinfandel sauce. I also ordered the jalapeño grits. The lamb chops were delicious and prepared perfectly and the sauce made them even better. They are on the smaller side, but our server told me that and offered a third one if I wanted it, but I opted for only two and with all the other food, they were just right. The polenta was very good! I'm not a fan of Brussels sprouts - but . . . the way these were prepared - I ate them all and really enjoyed them! The jalapeño grits - didn't eat much - they were somewhat dry and really lacked flavor. My wife had the Texas Kobe Beef Shortribs, with roasted poblano & cavatapi 'Mac and cheese' and crispy zucchini. The ribs came with an ancho chile glaze. The beef was perfect - amazingly tender and flavorful. The 'Mac and cheese' with the crispy zucchini was also very tasty. We decided to share a dessert and ordered the duo vanilla bean and Godiva chocolate crème brûlée. They were both very good. The tops were perfectly caramelized and underneath the custard was wonderful. The raspberries, strawberries and blackberries on the side were a perfect pairing with the chocolate flavor. We preferred the traditional vanilla bean crème brûlée, but the chocolate was very good. So - with the exception of the jalapeño grits - the food was extremely well prepared, flavorful and delicious. Now the downside - when our reservation was made, the host was informed that it was our 40th anniversary. It was the first time since our 24th anniversary that it was not acknowledged by restaurant staff wherever we've dined. Not a huge deal but it's little things that set great restaurants apart from good ones. The atmosphere was surprisingly loud, which we were not expecting given the more 'upscale' menu and pricing. Our server - friendly at first and when we told him we wouldn't be ordering alcohol - service went noticeably downhill quickly. The party of two that was seated next to us well after we were seated had their appetizer order taken before ours. When their appetizers were brought to their table, their entree orders were taken. We were finished with our appetizers before our server (the same server as the party next to us) took our entree order. On the positive side, the support staff kept our water glasses filled. On the negative side, my soda glass sat empty for extended periods of time. Would we go back? Absolutely! If the service improves from the front of the house to the server, I would absolutely give 5 stars.

Great service, really good quality of food for the pricing, especially in the park cities area. Our family of 7 had reservations at 6 but by the time we left at 8:30 the entire place was packed. It had an enclosed, heated patio available as well. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone. Even the kids menu is great - they have two different kinds of pasta and a steak entree, in addition to the typical children's fare. A few people got lobster bisque as a starter and it was sooo good, with sherry and tarragon. We had calamari as an appetizer and my 7 year old ate almost half the tray by herself! My Maine lobster linguine was amazing! Great wine selection too. This is our second time visiting Sevy's, and I really like it. Only thing that I didn't like is they have a decent sized parking lot but I'd say 60% of spaces are dedicated to valet, which is an annoying money grab, considering it's a narrow lot and not more than 15 yards from the furthest space to the door, lol.

Ribeye, butter, chive, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts

Dinner at Sevy's was excellent from the food to the service. It was amazing highly recommend the ribeye buttery, mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts.

Great menu and great service. Look forward to exploring the menu further. Salad was great and so was the trout.

Sea Bass Special

Had been here once before and recall it being a good experience. But this second visit turned out to be even more memorable. Had the sea-bass special and it was just so darned good! Service fronted by William was perfect. And atmosphere was nice, possibly even remodeled from the prior visit. The two others in my party were equally pleased with their overall experiences. Need to add this to the regular rotation. Will be back soon!

Sevy's has been around for years and we have eaten there many times. It is reliably very good. The interior seems a little dated but obviously that does not impact the food. Our server was excellent and the menu options are great. The fish and the steaks are grilled perfectly and always served at the ideal temperature. They also have a great dessert menu. The wine list is reasonable, and they have a full bar.

We came here for a friends birthday. They had a private room with the tables set up for a group of about 17-20. The service was great and it was nice that we had the room for the group. I ordered the fish which was delicious. A great experience if a private room for a big group is needed.

I visited Waters Edge with my family this past weekend before we went to a movie at the Drafthouse…read more(just across the parking lot), and we had a good time! Waters Edge is a winery and a bistro - so you can come for drinks or a meal or both. We were told that they make all of the wines on their menu, of which there are dozens of wines on their menu. I've been to a few urban wineries before, and it's an interesting concept. Waters Edge buys grape must (crushed grapes) from around the world and then craft and bottle wines made from that must at their locations (this Dallas location is one of 15 across the country). Wanting to try a few of their wines, the four of us shared two flights of five wines each. We tried the Tour of Armenia and Alec's Flight (a rotating selection of wines by their winemaker). Did I like every wine? No. But I thought most of them were pretty good. Personally, I'm not sure they need to make this many wines; I'll always prefer a business that does ten things well than fifty things fine (the Cheesecake Factory rule). But most of the wines were pretty nice (of the 10 I tried, I wouldn't drink 3 or 4 but wouldn't mind drinking the rest again). I appreciated that many of their wines are Armenian style, because I haven't had much opportunity to try Armenian wines. We also ordered a few snacks - they have a full food menu. We shared their Deviled Egg of the Month (2 eggs - 4 halves) and their Cheese is Life Board (two cheeses, hot honey, giardiniera, and crispy flatbread), which were both good snacks. They've been open just under a year, but the place doesn't feel quite lived in yet. The dining room has a large room divider in it, set up like a bookshelf. It has books and card/trivia games about wine and more. But many of these items were still wrapped in plastic, making it feel a little impersonal. The service was good, and it's a comfortable place to spend a couple of hours! The food we had was pretty good. The wines in my opinion are just okay - probably not the spot to take a wine snob on a date. But they have a large variety of wines, so you're likely to find one or many that you like. Not a bad place to spend some time if you're in the neighborhood!

Love coming here. Great for some relax time with wine and noshes…read more Quincy is very informative and helpful. The food is great, had the eggs and arancini so far. Enjoying the quality wine. Great ambiance, they have comfy couches and some board games. Good for groups or celebratory events
