The fella and I had dinner here while staying near Sequim and it was super good. In fact, I can still feel my arteries stiffen in greasy bliss days later. I ordered the green chile burger with a Beyond patty (grateful they have that as an option!) with sweet potato fries and the fella had the Hulk with garlic fries. We had zero complaints about the food - even the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned. Neither of us could finish our food as it was pretty heavy duty, but in the most delicious way. The wait to order was a little long but that was communicated to us when we were seated, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a bit strange in that it looks like it was a former real estate office or something but was very clean. Their prices are quite steep but the ingredient quality seems to reflect the price point. We would dine here again should we find ourselves Sequimward. read more

Just ate lunch here - got here at 12:30 and waited 30 minutes for the waitress to come out and say the kitchen never got our order because of "internet issues". After that, our order wasn't even pushed to the front of the line, it took another 30 minutes before we got our food. She then proceeded to bring the full check out as if we hadn't waited an hour on our food, which was very greasy and not at all worth waiting an hour for. To add, the waitress hardly addressed our table throughout the entire meal and did not seem to care that the experience was poor. Will not be back. read more

Damn good burger! Relatively new restaurant. Everyone was really nice from the host to the waitress but still limited capacity due to covid. We got seated near closing time so they ran out of their fresh cut housemade fries which I was really looking forward to. Got the housemade onion rings and those were nice and crunchy. My friend and I got the California burger with bacon and tons of avocado. Bun was nicely buttered and toasted which was a nice touch. Think if we stayed longer, we would go back again and make sure we get to try the fries. read more

We got takeout while I was visiting my mom in sequim. I got chicken and waffles. It was fine. My mom got the blue cheese hamburger which was really good! Nice and juicy, good flavor. We were passing through the area on a day trip out to Olympic National Park and saw Shadowline on Yelp. We are very happy we stopped out and gave them a try. The burgers were absolutely amazing. The Cowboy burger was huge and Porker had great flavor. Fast and friendly service too. It was nice to see that they required proof of vaccination too. I'd highly recommend stopping in. read more

A little hard to find this spot that is down a walkway off the main drag. After a day of hiking, these burgers and fries totally hit the spot. Their burgers are thin with crispy edges, lots of options for delicious toppings. Fries are nicely browned and crisp. Nice selection of beers too. Service was excellent. Highly recommend! read more

Burgers were tasty, if a bit on the small side for the price, and the fries were good. I had the Cali Double- a whopping quarter pound of beef. My sweetie had a Lace Edge Burger. She said it was good. I was surprised that there was a surcharge for to go orders. Excellent drinks and drink recommendations from the bartender; just share your likes and the bar will be sure to please you. I was already pleased, but then the deep fried ravioli with house marinara came out and I was sold. After tasting the ravioli I had to follow it up with the house Ceasar which absolutely amused the taste buds, and enticed a take home carne asada salad because the scald the chef has on that chicken is that good, you must try another dish. The owner deserves some serious applause for providing the community with such a great eatery. Hands down the best meal I've had in ages. Customer service at its finest. I'm not sure how many of you are aware, but there's a new restaurant in town. We discovered it one day while we were out riding our bikes and it was closed at the time. Well my wife and I just had our 43rd Anniversary and we had reservations at our favorite restaurant the Dockside Grill. Well when we arrived, they were closed. They unfortunately had a death and were closed for two days. So upon our disappointment, I was like now what? My wife said, how about trying the new restaurant? Well at this point I was like, why not? Call it fate destiny or whatever but WOW! I'm sure glad that happened. During all this insanity from the COVID and businesses struggling to reopen or survive, the owners, John and Sarah took a huge chance/shot and opened last May. So only opened for 5 months now. It's called the Shadowline Burgers & Brews and they're located at 179 W Washington St, Sequim, WA 98382. A little hard to find because they're kind of in a little alley but if you know where the Squim Kabob House is on Washington, they're right behind them. OMG! Is all that we can say. They have something like 25+ burgers and sandwiches on the menu and being it was our first time there, we didn't know what to choose. When we did decide, it was literally one of the BEST burgers we ever ate! So insanely good! The burgers we tried literally melted in our mouths. Like the palate says MORE please! They also have a great selection of fries too. We tried the garlic ones and all I can say is wow!! Trust me, we'll remain indefinite customers. The staff are very friendly and John and Sarah, the owners are some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. Having heard of our circumstances with the Dockside, they came out and met us, wished us a very happy Anniversary and we ended up talking for almost a half hour on how the restaurant came to be and the chances they took to open especially when others are having such difficulties getting back on their feet. On top of the atmosphere great staff and ownership, we're back to the food again. Since May, not only did they earn an article in the Sequim, but also an article was done on them in the they made the King 5 news and earned an article in the Evening Magazine. How many places you know achieve that in such a short time? So now that that's out there, if you love a vast variety of Burgers and Sandwiches with great fries, then I implore you to give them a shot. Oh and they're in the process of adding a bar too. You should put them on your list of places to eat and give them a try at least once you'll be glad you did. Trust me if you're like us, after your visit I believe you'll become loyal customers. read more

Was able to try Shadowline burgers a couple days ago and found them to be fantastic. In addition while at Starbucks today someone driving a Shadowline burgers vehicle bought my coffee for me in the drive-through window. Shows a great act of kindness and a great business to support. I used to love coming here and the food was good but overtime it has just turned into a puddle of grease to the point where I can't even bite my burger with out the grease running down my hands and getting all over my face, also the bun is always soggy from grease by the time it gets to me. Again when the restaurant just opened service used to be great which has slowly fizzled out over time... the servers/ waitresses never come to the table anymore to check on how things are or offer any other beverages and it's so hard to flag them down because most of the time they just ignore or don't hear you due to how loud it is. I went there recently and my order was entirely wrong and I waited for what felt like a lot time to even receive it just to end up getting it remade. I wouldn't mind waiting a while for my food if it was right and it wasn't bathed in grease but it takes too long for what you get! I really used to love this place but over time it has gone down hill in every aspect!!! read more

Best burgers on the peninsula! (Maybe all of western WA!) Shadowline has definitely had some minor growing pains over the past few months BUT I'm happy to report that they are steadily improving! Food quality has always been first rate, never an issue there, the issues I found most frustrating were that portions were pretty consistently small and the wait times were always pretty long. I'm happy to say, my trip yesterday was the best yet!! My order was ready in 10 minutes, there was a solid portion of fries, and the quality was as always a 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work!! WOW! really, wow! I was taken here by a friend and when we walked in - oh - it smelled so good! We were seated promptly and shared the Mac and cheese balls and had a burger each - everything is really good! I ate way too much - the garlic fries and made with fresh garlic and didn't need any dipping sauce. I will return! read more

FIVE STARS FOR CULINARY DELIGHT!!! When friends from California visited, we knew where to go for dinner! As they stood up following the delicious meal one of them said "that was the best burger I've ever had". Ted made it a special, personalized experience. I have to say the Black Belt Elevated Burger was to die for, and yes I did get the onion rings, again. I can hardly wait to go back. My entire family loves this place and we can be pretty picky eaters. Plus Shadowline has a wonderful, light atmosphere and it rang with laughter the night we were there. It's fun to eat there. If you want a rushed dinner and a five minute burger, go to McDonalds so the rest of us can enjoy this special experience :) You will have a good feeling in your stomach and in your heart when you leave this place. read more

Excellent. I had the the Cuban burger and my wife had the Black Belt burger. Mine was very tasty and a great combination of flavors. I was wanting, maybe, a unique flavored sauce or a spread as a tad dry. But not dry in a bad way, maybe a slight kick sauce. Hmmm? Still a great burger though. I got to taste my wife's burger and nice flavors there too. Basket of fries looked messy, but boy the were good. Your homemade ranch it great too. Service by Stacey was good with food arriving hot. John and Sara, the proprietors, have done a wonderful job bringing gourmet burgers to town. Unfortunately we will not be supporting indoor dining if vaccine cards are required. My family loves this place when we're in the mood for burgers. They make their food with love and extra attention to details. I've never seen avocados like the ones on my burger the other night. Their fries are delicious and I don't know what's in the fry sauce, but it's the best I've ever had. Sometimes they're busy and sometimes they run out of stuff (sometimes a lot of stuff). I appreciate that they don't over-order and it shows how popular they are. Order ahead and be willing to wait 30-60 minutes when they're busy. It's worth it. Full time travelers and we try to choose wisely for dining out. We hit a home run on this little joint in a quiet sleepy town of Sequim in the Pacific NW. Arrived on a Wednesday around 5:30 and got a booth quickly. Great little waitress, Reina, who was all smiles and knowledgeable about the menu. Her service was great and it resulted in a fat tip. We ordered burgers. I got the green chile burger. Thin patty, regular side. I opted for ranch instead of catsup for the fries. She got the salad with her burger and said it was the small cut of the lettuce that made it better. Portions were perfect. I can never usually finish the fries but there were just enough to not be bloated and enough to not want more. Overall, this one was better than average. Most other customers looked to be regulars and their dishes were just as good looking. Win Win. read more

The service was lovely and so kind, and the food was delicious. The smash burgers are a lot like Shake Shack, but better. We also got the Mac n cheese bites which were very yummy.
