I had fish & chips, fish fresh, the breading a little greasy, cole slaw, below average, you don't need bell pepper in the slaw. chips/fries over cooked, tartar sauce heavy on the mayo, not much flavor though. Found this gem by accident after a long day of work. We were tired, hungry & thirsty- this spot was perfect! The menu is immense- many, many burgers to choose from. The beer taps menu featured many IPAs & ales. I had the Black Belt burger, tater tots, and a cool glass of IPA. It was SUPERB! The burger was cooked to perfection, juicy & flavorful. We have been to Shadowline Burgers and Brew twice. The restaurant is tucked away off Washington Blvd in Sequim. You have to know the downtown Sequim area well or you could miss it. The restaurant and very nice and spacious. There is a bar off to the left of where you enter. I had the Shadowline Double. It's a hamburger with all the trimming and two patties that equal 1/4 pound and it comes with fries. Hubby and the Mushroom Burger with fries. That pattie was 1/3. These burgers were very tasty, mine was a bit dry. The Pattie's were very thin and crispy around the edges. I think because they made two out of 1/4 of meat. My issue was the price.mine was $13.95 and hubby's was $18.95. For hamburgers. To me that was a bit over priced. We went the first time to check it out and the second time we had a gift certificate. Hugely impressed with Shadowline. Despite it being a Saturday and then being busy, their service was still top notch and the food surprised us all with how fast it came. This place rocks. First and foremost, Ted our server was engaged, excellent, and personable. Can't say enough about the guy. The restaurant was clean and airy. We were seated quickly, we got our food quickly. Among the group, we ordered a couple of hamburgers, Caesar salads, and sides of the garlic fries. Everything was excellent, but the garlic fries stood out - they were amazing. The restaurant had a nice selection of semi-local beers as well. Some what hidden gem. This was our first visit. Excited to try something new and support a local business. Menu was well rounded, burgers, chicken, starters. We had a basic burger and tater tots. Very well made . Saucer tasty. Could've eaten three more. Somewhat pricey at 15$ average for a burger. They are lots of options and all seemed to be specialty. I'll have to be more adventurous next time. That said we also had the carne asada tacos. AMAZING!!! Best tacos in the area . A real gem. Same price as burger. So worth it. I fully recommend. We also tried chicken and waffles. The chicken was crispy and seasoned really enjoyed it. The waffles were dry. Presentation felt cafeteria wasn't sure if I was supposed to Sammy em or use Utensils. I mean.... after hearing people RAVE about this place, I have to say it was a solid MEH. My chicken and waffles was good. All the fries at the table (there were 4 of us) were HELLA salty. Even the sweet potato fries were at an 11 on the salt scale! Was this to sell more drinks? Hubs reported that his burger was crazy overcooked and dry, yet the bun was fully soggy with all the blue cheese dressing. Eat here. For real. So. Damn. Good. We tried this restaurant after seeing it on King 5 Evening. And they did not disappoint. Service was wonderful and their burgers and fries are amazing. I ordered the shadowline double burger and regular fries. If I close my eyes I could swear I was eating an In N Out burger. And my husband got the Black Belt Burger and garlic tots. The ghost Mayo and fry sauce are both fantastic and pair perfectly with fries and their burgers. We may have horrible garlic breath for the rest of the day, but it's worth it. We were looking forward to coming here all week. The service was excellent. We arrived during lunch time and got our drinks and food without much of a wait. They were out of some beer, but that's pretty standard nowadays. The burgers were okay. There was so much mayo on my burger the veggies slid out of the bun. Banana, butterscotch, like 15 other milkshake flavors.. but what about the chicken/waffle entree (sold out tonight) and carne asade fries and HUGE salads you can split for a day or 2. Favorites so far: the Black belt elevated burger,, the Californian Drive-In (yum- avocado), the Mac daddy (for big appetites), and the ONION RINGS -best ever- melty, crunchy, with homemade dill ranch sauce. Was on our way from Olympia to Hurricane ridge and decided to fuel up at Shadowline. Man what an honestly perfect experience. My buddy Jeff and I walk in a hair before 11 and it's 80% full. That's a sure sign right there! We were seated promptly and had to check the bathroom from the long drive. Super clean which is pretty nice. I had a Mac Daddy and a Tropic Haze. The fries are old school hand cut, hand tossed and salted potato fries and they're amazing! The burger was a smashed style with mac and cheese ball and onion rings. Man, so good. Not greasy, just perfect. Seasoning spot on. This place really adds to the ambiance of Sequim, friendly service, clean restaurant, great food. Pretty tough to beat. read more

We stopped on the way home from a visit to the Olympic Game Farm with the grandkids. My husband got the Cubano with garlic fries, I had the Carne Asada fries, our grandson had the chicken and waffles and our other grandson drank his milk. We also got an order of wings to share. The service was fast and friendly (we just did a take out order) everything was just as we ordered it and everything in our order was present and delicious. The fries are so beautifully cooked, the carne asada was so tender and flavorful, the Cubano had just the right crunch and the house made 1000 island was spot on. The chicken and waffles were wonderful to look at and tasted even better. Crispy chicken fluffy waffles. We all sampled a bite or two of everything and were all pleased with our choices but would have been equally happy with one of the other choices. The wings were crispy and delicious as well. We'll definitely be back. We travel through Sequim several times a year and have a new favorite spot for seriously good grub.
