Jeff came out, was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and did an outstanding job for a very fair price. I can't say enough in appreciation for this plumber and his staff. I am a long distance home owner/landlord with a condo townhouse unit which he has serviced. My unit has a very complex pipe leak with a complex remediation situation. He has gone out of his way to communicate in a prompt, always professional, always thoughtful and courteous manner with three parties; myself, the owner, the tenant and the manager for the home owners association. He has been beyond helpful at guiding the process for the various steps of repair and has gone out of his way to respond quickly and show up promptly for work. I had a crisis--fixing up new room for a mother-in-law and the attached BR shower failed to work. Called Shaffer and Ty scheduled an appt. after asking/receiving pictures from me on the type of shower value and faucet I had. Arrived promptly and he diagnosed/fixed the problem within 5 minutes- sand in the shower screen. While the screen soaked in vinegar, Ty did a review of ALL my faucets, toilets and shower heads/shower drains, correcting 3 minor issues.I was charged for the minimum 1 hour work, but got SO much more. Jeff shaffer plumbing sent Nate and Rob to find a leak somewhere in my house. They were experts and with the acoustic device found the leak in one of my bathrooms. We were afraid it was a slab leak, but when Nate cute out the wall to find the manifold, he found one pipe was squirting out the water. He was able to successfully cut out the bad section of copper pipe, and solder in a new small section. Afterwards he checked 2 other items and gave advice. Rob, meanwhile, was able to entertain my guests with card magic tricks. I highly recommend this company as plumbers. read more

I'd never had work done by Shaffer Plumbing before, but after having ok to bad experiences before with other plumbing professionals, it was time to try someone else so I gave them a shot. Tyree came out to bypass an old syphon valve that we no longer needed. He also found and fixed the old rotten mains valve while he was at it. Very friendly, honest service and top quality work for a very reasonable fee. The schaffers came within 30 minutes of my calling them. Tyree had noticed I was laid up because of a serious surgery. He helped me personally while He was here. He was thorough And meticulous. He finished in a timely matter, cleaned everything up! He actually orginized my stuff under the sink. He did a fantastic job and asked if there was anything else he could do for me while he was there. He didn't overcharge. And did fantastic job. They dont make men of this high caliber anymore. Nate was awesome. He took care to unclog a troublesome drain and gave me some pointers on repair parts if I needed them in the future. I asked him to troubleshoot a possible leak and he investigated the problem, suggesting I call back when I was ready. Jeff, Robert and Ty tested our plumbing, and when we were ready, they located and repaired the leak in one day even though it was an incredibly hot day. We had discovered a leak in our garage Jeff sent his son, Tyree, out the same day. He found the source of the leak in the kitchen. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I elected to get a new water heater instead of replacing parts. Super professional both Father and Son. On time and very knowledgeable plus listened to the customer (me) about my concerns. They replaced my old gas water heater with a new tankless and also replaced my pressure regulator valve. Since my regulator was a flange type fit and did not need to be soldered in place they lowered the price of the labor. You don't hear that very often.
