I ordered the filet with a baked potato and added grilled shrimp, which I split with my dining partner. The filet absolutely lived up to the hype. It was like butter, perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The shrimp were equally impressive with great seasoning and a perfect char. We both started with the blue cheese salad. It was good, but if you're expecting a bold blue cheese flavor, you may be disappointed. It was much milder than expected. The complimentary bread service consisted of two rolls that were unfortunately overbaked and rock hard. It wasn't a huge deal, but it wasn't the best first impression of the meal. I also thought charging an extra $2 for cheese and sour cream on a baked potato was a bit excessive especially for a $84 meal. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, and the steak was excellent. However, the experience didn't quite live up to the reputation or the effort it takes to get a reservation. Between the service falling apart toward the end of the meal and a few small disappointments, I'm not sure we'll be rushing back anytime soon.
