The second dealer I went to did not asked for my SSN, but the sales man was impossible to deal with and I seemed to more than he did about the car he was trying to sell me. I arrived at the Honda dealer in Walnut Creek and expected the worst, and was I pleasantly surprised when I actually met someone who not only knew his cars but explained everything in detail without being condescending about it. Let me explain: my old car was a 2015 model and stepping into 2026 model is now very different, because of the new models use of computers.
