    Beef fried rice, Singapore noodles
    Denis S.

Summary: giant portion, average taste. We got beef fried rice and Singapore noodles. Rice was rather dry, dull and boring, I wish it had more flavours. But it had a good amount of meat! Singapore noodles was a bit spicy and with good spices - no surprise there, just a good average Singapore one with prawns and pork. Service was fast, and the owner was nice and busy. Overall a decent place, and one meal is enough for two not very hungry people.

Best Shanghai Shengjianbao 生煎包 I ever tasted in my life! Tasty and authentic. Don't miss it.

Mongolian Beef, shrimp and veg, Kung Pao chicken and Mu Shu Pork. Can with hot and sour soup.

The food was quite good. It was not gourmet cuisine but solid and plenty of beef, shrimp or chicken depending on the dish. Sparing use of starch means the food is not swimming in glue.

Roach in eggplant and tofu dish

I don't know what the health score is for this place but it needs to be posted. I recently ordered their eggplant and tofu dish through Uber Eats and found a roach in the dish. I hardly write reviews but this was so disgusting that I had to say something.

Chunky meats in their Wor Wonton Soup. Ordered to go and it was ready. After getting gas at the corner. Great dinner to go on a rainy day.

Super Happy with the Boba here! Affordable and delicious. They don't knuckle and dime you with upgrades. Our kids love coming after school for their fav drink. The Taro tastes fresh and is yummy!! Thank You Shanghai for offering Boba this side of the 101

    Mapo tofu - lunch special

This review is not about the quality / taste of their food, but is specifically about their lunch specials. Bottom line: please either expect to go hungry or fill up on a massive quantity of rice when you choose to order their lunch special. Otherwise, order their dinner menu. Note: if you order through DoorDash during lunch time, you may be surprised to receive their lunch special even if you order the regular menu (it happened to us once). To the restaurant: please change this... this is a little too ridiculous even if it's a "lunch special"... 1/4 menu item and 3/4 rice...! I understand you included a side soup, but I don't even eat it (or said I wanted it or expected it).

We've been wanting to try Mamahuhu and so glad we made the trip to Mill Valley to do so…read more We ordered the Mushroom Mapo Tofu, Sweet & Sour Chicken (the standout dish!), and Jade Fried Rice, and every dish impressed. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was the highlight--perfectly crispy with a glossy sauce that struck a great balance between sweet and tangy. The addition of pineapple, bell peppers, and onions kept every bite fresh without overpowering the chicken. The Mushroom Mapo Tofu was rich, deeply savory, and packed with silky tofu in a beautifully spicy, numbing sauce. The mushrooms added great texture, and the generous sprinkle of crispy black beans and scallions on top made it even better. The Jade Fried Rice was a great supporting dish--light, flavorful, and studded with egg, greens, and bits of meat without feeling greasy. The portions were generous and perfect for two people to share. They also offer rice plate combinations, but we opted for individual entrées and were glad we did since it let us try more dishes. The restaurant itself is casual, cute, and very clean, making it a comfortable spot for lunch or dinner. Excellent food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.

Everything was fine until one specific interaction flipped the vibe completely. The attitude came out fast -- and hearing a manager call a 40+ year-old customer "dude" during a disagreement was... a choice. If that's the customer service direction moving forward, good luck to them.

I was complaining to a friend ; who recommended that I try DJ's! I did that tonight - DJ's is a hidden gem. The staff were very friendly, and welcomed me with a cup of tea while I waited for my take out order. I didn't have to wait very long. I have just had a wonderful meal and enjoyed every mouthful. I will be definitely be returning to DJ's regularly to enjoy my favorite meal. There is also a very nice back patio where I enjoyed the tea. Well done DJ's !!! Sincerely, Robin Olive

The war won ton was just the won tons with no fillings and the broth was good, but it was not what we expected. The seafood soup was mostly broth with a little bit of fresh mushrooms and French cut green beans and finely we found a couple shrimp and a few bits of calamari. The sweet and sour pork was mushy and didn't have much flavor. The kung pao shrimp was mostly onions! The next ingredient was green peppers and garlic. There were peanuts and still more onions. We are not fans of onions, so this was not a good surprise. The rice was fine but not special. We also ordered plain steamed vegetables and shrimp, which we will try tomorrow night if we are willing to eat this again. Service 5/5 Food 2.5/5 Ambiance 4/5 lovely patio in back of the building and nice linen table clothes. Good window seating. Value/price 3/5 expensive for the quality of the food (canned, frozen veggies etc) The food brings down the experience and we won't go back.

All the little side flavors on the plate are delicious- the chutney and yogurt sauce and the bonus- I was not cooking. One weird pice of chicken- can't bite through, my husband had the same-that is one thing we really get bummed about when ordering out, but with papadums and the 2 plates of food to go was $41. The service was fast. Ambience is small inside cozy and chill if u are outside. There is a stern vibe always- that can't totally relax into too friendly. I feel like the vibe in Sausalito is more friendly but it has been a while and that is a restaurant space. I decided to try this place reading everyone's recent comments, slashing their ratings. I appreciate this place for its diverse offering in this town but in this economy- it does feel a bit pricey for a to go plate. It was nice to have something different, so I still appreciate this place.
