Such a pretty restaurant. The decor is really nice. Though I'm sad one of the lion dogs by the entrance broke. Hopefully it's been repaired or a replacement has been set up. Really wide variety of Asian dishes. Impressed but also dubious about whether they can pull off all of them. Everything we had was pretty good though! Since the name and decoration is Chinese, we stuck mostly to those dishes. I got twice cooked pork which was spicy and delicious! Liked all the vegetables too. Dad got Singapore style rice noodles which were solid. Mom got the Alaskan King crab with ginger and scallions and that was the biggest standout. Such great flavor and cooked perfectly. Much more decadent than just butter and lemon. Brother got strawberry chicken which was interesting. Crispy like orange chicken but with strawberries and sauce on it. Fine, but definitely a one and done. He also got a dragon roll which was ok. I think the rice was a bit dry. Our server Chris was really nice and he advised us to get the ginger and scallion sauce rather than another we considered because he said that one was dry. First time here and i will definitely be back. The food is delish!!! I ordered the general tso made it extra spicy and added garlic! It's the only way to eat it!!! Absolutely incredible. My daughter ordered the sweet n sour chicken and it was just as u would expect. I don't know how the dinner rush. Would be but we went around 3 pm and there was only 1 other customer. I like when things aren't busy. So this is a perfect time to go. $39 for two entrees and hot tea. So not to terrible. read more

I've never had such a slow meal in my life. At one point, I honestly thought I was in a Michelin restaurant, waiting for course after course to be served. The environment was freezing. The food was freezing. I genuinely don't understand how a dish can be cold when it's supposedly just been stir-fried. It's almost impressive. I usually avoid commenting on restaurants, but the poor service attitude, pre-prepared food, and dishes arriving cold are genuinely concerning. I really want to warn travelers who are brought here by tour guides or influenced by Xiaohongshu recommendations: if you want to avoid anger, high blood pressure, and pure frustration, do not eat here. A friend recommended this place so we decided to give it a try. The server was really nice and patient with us. They have tones of traditional Chinese decors, so it's a really good place to hang out or take your friends to when they are new to town. Eggplant in garlic sauce is my favorite. It's so flavorful. Braised beef was not that bad but tasted nowhere close to what traditional braised beef tastes like. The salt or soy sauce they used definitely overkilled the flavor of other spices. Fried rice was good but super salty!!!! Super! Salty!!!!! Same thing for the beef trip. The chef put way too much salt in their food and that is why I'm only giving them 3/5. After entering Lin's bistro, the waitress brought me a single page menu with all dishes which I usually saw in Chinatown! Can you imagine that a restaurant operated near Arctic Circle provides authentic Chinese food? I got too excited to decide which to order. Finally I ordered King crab in scallion and ginger source. The scallion and ginger source makes the king crab meat taste even sweeter. Picked this restaurant out of the blue. I was craving for some Chinese food. I mean authentic, not Chinese American kind. I'm glad I made a good choice to stop by this place. The decorations of this place is pretty traditional looking. I mean you can tell before you walk in that the building shape is like a temple. After you walk in, their design of this place give you a little feel of mid ancient time in China. They have two separate menu. A normal menu and a Chinese menu, I got both of course just to see what do they have to offer. There were a lot to choose from but I was starving. My friend picked a combo entree. I got their twice cooked pork, Chicken, shrimp, and veggie stir fried udon and an order of potstickers to share. In case you haven't try stir fried udon. It's highly recommended. The food was great. Fair portion as well, the pork belly wasn't over cooked and enough spicy flavor it so it was on point with my side of rice too. Prefect combination! The stir fried udon was in Thai white curry sauce. I didn't read the description that it will be Thai flavor style, but it actually turn out to be delicious. The potstickers was alright, could add some vegetable to it instead of just all meat. Lastly, if you check in ahead of time. They will give you a coupon from Yelp's. "10% off when you order 2 entree or more." So it was worth it. It was a great spot and tasty. Frankly, we were planning to go to McDonald but we just found it out right next to the location accidentally. Good change mind. You think this place is racist, has bad services and even service bad food as some reviews say. The discrepancy of this place is, first they asked if we were Chinese and we said yes! I can't lie that we are. Then we sat down and they gave us a one page menu. Since we were hungry we order, we just ordered what ever is on the menu that was given. Food was ok for Chinese, bland, smaller portions then other reviews. When we were almost finished, more customers came in and were clear not Chinese and they were given a different menu. When we asked why did we not get that menu. Their excuse is, it is not to Chinese taste buds, those are more American flavor tastes buds. It would be nice to have the option to choose also our dishes were smaller and price was different. The other customers dishes had more plus dinner combinations which comes with rice, soup and another side dish. The bigger menu had drinks it would be nice to order drinks for my 3 year old.
