In the last 10 years, Bamboo Pandahas gone from primo, to penny pinching away basic food standards. We just spent a ton of $$ on takeout and have just pulled it out of the bag and two things stand out that make me want to spend my cash somewhere else next time: First, the sauces are so watered down they are basically colored water (sweet and sour water, hot mustard water, lemon chicken water, you get the point). Second, I could go to Costco and buy the same chicken nuggets (though I wouldn't pour watersauce on them) for a quarter of the cost. Bamboo Panda saves the day. Cooking was not happening today. It would be a 5 star rating just for tonight besides the hot mustard forgotten. We ordered To Go, Bourbon Chicken and sweet and sour chicken meals both were a lot of food and fresh. Their driver never knocked on my door. My phone doesn't accept no caller Id calls and then the restaurant decided to call me four mins before they close. I checked multiple times outside to see if the driver was coming. I'm so unhappy and my dinner plan was ruined. The last time, the driver didn't even let me have the correct change and automatically assume I was giving them a ten dollar tip. I don't think we will be ordering from them anymore. This was my second time coming in and had nothing but problems and incorrect order. The first time I ordered I paid $22 for two meals, I go in this time and they try to get me to pay almost $18 for one meal the exact same thing I ordered last time. I called her on the phone and even asked the price difference because I wasn't paying that and told her I wanted the small order. Still couldn't figure it out when I got there. My family eat here all the time, and at first I was disappointed. I missed going to the Siam in Washington... but after living in Fairbanks for a couple years I learned to love this place. Their food isn't as authentic as most would like, but for americanized Asian food, it is the best. I am not sure how it is now, but when I first started eating there, I asked for spicey, and it was spicey, but over time, it became less spicey, and now I have to ask for extra spicey. It turns out a lot of people complained that it was to spicey. So if you like it hot, ask for extra spicey or double extra spicey. read more
